Hi everyone,

Hope you don't mind me staring a new thread as the last is full to the brim now!

Just to recap myself:

Age 31
Ttc no.3
6dpo
1st cycle! (Agh!)

Anyone else?

Anyway I'm still clinging onto the bus but feeling extremely negative about this cycle as I've had what has almost! been the flu Sad
Couldn't get my sorry head off the pillow yesterday and feel like I've been 8 rounds with Tyson aiming right for the lungs!

Going to test on Thursday 19th as had my last two Bfps at 10 DP0

And just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the old thread that kindly gave me advise and a much needed pick me up with regards to being so --pathetically - Ill lol I took all advise on board and today I feel like it's finally letting up a little (woo!)

Hope are well and good news is coming for us all!! X

Hey girls. I'm still here too. AF was due 12/01 and still not arrived, this is cycle 3 for me after coming off the pill and previous 2 cycles were both 25 days. Very confused at the moment as I've tested twice with CB's and both BFN's.

Don't ask me why but I've just used an OPK which has confused me further as I think it's positive?! Advice needed!

I was ill last month and didn't drink on a big night out with lots of friends and rumours were flying everywhere that I was pregnant. I actually got AF that day so most certainly wasn't, I just didn't feel like drinking after being so poorly. Since then we've had questions non stop about when will we be trying etc. It's driving me mad but at the same time I quite like it as I know we are already trying and people clearly care.

Last night we told 2 close friends we were trying as we went to see their baby and DH was clearly besotted! Then we saw DBil and his girlfriend and they were desperate to hear when they would be Auntie and Uncle so we said we'd be trying soon to calm them down. It feels a bit better that some people know, but in reality I can't talk to them about our experience with TTC and so you ladies are my counsellors! I'm soon to start the 2ww and so will need all the support I can get!

Emz - maybe try testing with a first response? They are more accurate than CB

emz I read somewhere ovulation sticks can pick up a very early pregnancy... I'm not sure of the credibility of source though 😟

Yep I've read that too! FX for you emz!

Emz01 · 15/01/2017 20:23

I will give it a couple of more days and if no af I will try a first response. Fingers crossed but trying not to get my hopes up.

powerpuffer I know exactly what you mean, I feel like I can't talk to anyone about TTC sometimes even my own husband as he says he is feeling too much pressure to make it happen. Family and friends keep asking when we are going to have another as DS is now 2. The ladies on here are so supportive of one another, so it's nice just be able to vent and ask advice when needed!

emz I'm the same, I think I bamboozle my DP talking dates, tests, etc. he looks like a deer caught in headlights most of the time

I read that too about early pregnancy and opks Emz, fx for you!!!

I try to steer clear of telling oh too much about dates, sign spotting etc as he too looks a little overwhelmed by it all. Unfortunately you girls just get it all from me instead!! Xx

Emz01 · 15/01/2017 21:33

Thanks for all your support ladies, fx to see what the next few days bring.

I'm glad it's not just my DH that can get overwhelmed by it all if I go too much into detail. At least we can just share it with each other on here!

We've been trying for so long that most of my friends know now Grin Our families know too because we got a bit overexcited with miscarriage #1 and told them too early. Oops! But in fact all of DH's family have miscarriage experience, so they understood. My mum doesn't but my dad and stepmum do. I'd been wanting to talk to them but haven't really had the chance, they are not really chatters :(

Half my family are expecting baby news from me in the next few months as they seem to have baby news every X years judging by the 'pattern' and the pressure is so huge sometimes. They keep dropping these hints and i feel like saying please fuck off will you. I'm quite anxious about it tonight. Due af 19/01.

Yeah let's post in here Mrs g! I'm ttc #1 too so exciting !!!
Apparently because releasing an egg requires inflammation, taking an anti inflammatory prevents ovulation or something. It does actually say on the packet not to take if ttc!
All ive been doing is not drinking and taking daily folic acid and vitamin D since October x

Goodness! I'm glad I know about that! Good to know about paracetamol too 😊.

It's so exciting! My DH originally wanted to wait a few more months but after a good chat we've now started trying - I'm crossing everything for BFPs for everyone!

Welcome to the new arrivals. I have not brought any hpts on purpose and will not get any till Friday which is (if I'm in schedule) a day before af. After progesterone surge right after ov everything has settled and apart from crying at chic flicks whilst doing paper work this pm I'm feeling OK. Much love and baby dust to all x

I have long and slightly unpredictable cycles; in the FW now (the fun part!)

Using internet cheapie ovulation sticks, looked like the line was getting darker this afternoon... we'll see! FX and baby dust all around.

Hi all, CD20 here and cycle 1 after coming off the pill. I'm right at the back of the bus, A/F due between 25 Jan and 1 Feb (I can't remember how long/regular my cycles are).

I think I'm theoretically in the 2ww, but I'm feeling pretty chilled. Whilst a surprise bfp would be amazing, I'd be satisfied to see a proper AF after being on pill for so long. Not seen many CM changes and my temping isn't going well (I end up sleeping in/forgetting at the weekend) so no idea if I've ovulated, but like I say, generally staying chilled out about it.

I have a smear test this afternoon too, eurgh.

Fx for all those waiting.

Woke up feeling crap today - cold and sore throat and I randomly have thrush.
Only time I have ever had thrush is in pregnancy but I feel like I'm clinging on to small hope!

Afternoon everyone! Just checking in again to see if any more Bfps are around! We must be due another soon surely?Smile

Sorry to hear about the ones dealing with thrush on top of ttc SadI've had it twice in my life (pre kids) and I sympathise as I remember it well!

I'm here at 7dpo and having a few more cramps and today my boobs are getting in on it too and have become quite tender! Still not fully recovered from this virus but a lot better than I was. Much love to all X
