Just to recap myself:

6dpo
1st cycle! (Agh!)

Anyone else?

Anyway I'm still clinging onto the bus but feeling extremely negative about this cycle as I've had what has almost! been the flu
Couldn't get my sorry head off the pillow yesterday and feel like I've been 8 rounds with Tyson aiming right for the lungs!

Going to test on Thursday 19th as had my last two Bfps at 10 DP0

And just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the old thread that kindly gave me advise and a much needed pick me up with regards to being so --pathetically - Ill lol I took all advise on board and today I feel like it's finally letting up a little (woo!)

MrsG - yeah i think those are right, ill tell you the ones ive picked up
bfp - big fat positive test bfn is negative
dtd - done the deed or BD is baby dance
OV - ovulation, DPO is days past ovulation
OPK - is ovulation predictor kit and LH is the lutenising hormone they pick up.
FX is fingers crossed

Flowers we I think that sounds about right as I think the test can also pick up the surge on the way out, so maybe you caught right at the start with the darkest and as it was still high but fading on the second. It could still mean you ov today or tomorrow as it depends how long after the surge the egg is released & then it needs some traveling time with allowances for loo stops and maccy Ds ;)

Ohhh I so hope a bfp is coming my way!!! I wouldn't be such a stress head about it but I'm a teacher and I'm desperately wanting to plan baby around a good maternity leave deal! So funny, literally everyone I work with who's had a baby has aimed for an October due date!!!

I'm still clinging on ladies although if I conceive this month I'll drink a glass of donkey wee!! Had a virus last week which I think has pushed ovulation later, got opk positives thurs, fri, sat but oh is apparently so ill he can't possibly dtd!! I feel like some frustrated manic, feel like screaming argh you're gonna miss the egg!!!! So lord only knows when af is gonna show up, I'm on cd22 now, usually 28 day cycle so who knows??!! Got cramps yesterday and today. Fx for everyone still on the bus!! Xx

Well it's only halfway through, we've got to get some more BFPs in, right?!

AF still looming threateningly but not actually coming in, so no idea what's happening. Will get a test in the morning if no sign by then. Fingers crossed!

Feeling a bit fed up that we've had nothing happen since July/August time so DH picked up some Selenite in the supermarket yesterday, hoping that will help. We did seem to get pregnant more easily when he was on it.

Oh same cycle as us Bertie, we've not had a sniff in 10 months!! It's all rather disheartening but I agree, plenty of time for more bfp's!!! Xx

I'm still here. Cd34. However my cycles range from 16-67 days so I haven't tested yet. Hate seeing bfn. We dtd pretty much every day over the Christmas hols so I'm really hoping something happened. Boobs are killing! FX for us all.

Ha hi Sarah ! We are exactly the same - horrible virus for both of us which pushed my ov back a few days so I'm hoping for a bit of a miracle really!

Sorry, selenium, not selenite! Sarah have you tried giving the vitamins a go? I had read that increasing the quality of the egg + sperm is the most important factor. For men it's selenium and vitamins E and C. Can't remember for women now but I'm trying to remember to take my folic acid and not doing very well I still have the three month supply we bought right at the start!

TBH Bertie we've not tried any supplements other than me on folic which I too am pretty rubbish at taking cos I've just lost all hope really. I'll have a look into the selenium tho thanks. My folic has vit d in with it too. Xx

I'm still on the bus. A horrid few weeks of illness and risk of redundancy but I've just got a positive OPK on day 14 which is 4 days earlier than usual so I'm glad I've been testing.

Oh Sarah I hear you!!! I swear ive read so much stuff online - but not much about the fact that our OHs need to 'perform' on demand! It's tough for them eh. My partner has been fabulous but I still feel bad for feeling as though I'm being a bit too prescriptive+

Yeah it's a tough life flowers!! Like being a stud stallion!! 😂 I try to let my frustrations and anxieties out on here so that I'm not showing him any of it but then like you say he needs to be available when I say go!!! Xx

Got positive ovulation stick yesterday came up straight away, neg today(line but much feinter than control)

So far bd cycle day 8,10, 12, 14 x2!,15.

According to app af due 31st Jan.

Haha oh Sarah - don't know about you but I didn't think dtd would ever turn into a chore for OH!!!!
Mrs g we are at almost identical times! Im expecting my af around 29th too - cycle is so messed up from being sick - I stupidly took ibuprofen for a week not realising it could affect my ovulation! Doh! Are you ttc #1? X

Yay, there is a group of us due to be testing around the same time It is good to have some moral support!

I definitely need lots of moral support at the moment!!!! Most of my evenings have been spent reading about ovulation dates and CM and EWCM and symptoms and all sorts- we aren't telling anyone we are TTC to avoid any unwanted questions so I'm literally in a little bubble!!! So glad I found this website its helped loads!

We haven't told anyone we're ttc either, sometimes it's a struggle to laugh off all the 'when are you having kids' questions.

I didn't know ibuprofen could mess up ovulation I've been googling to see how best to prepare my body, but is there anything weird or wonderful that I should be doing/avoiding?

A few of us really have been through the ringer this month with illness it seems! Roll on spring when all these nasty germs die off!

hippy your cramping sounds positive and in line with implantation maybe? Your the same place in your cycle as me, around 6dpo? I hadn't had any symptoms all day until around late afternoon when some period like cramping set in! Had this last preg too around same time in my cycle so fx for us both! Also had low mood for a few days before bfp! But then I also have these symptoms leading up to af too, just to put a reality check onto it

Mines been drinking....I've been fobbing everyone off with the dry January trick this month....not sure how long they'll be buying it for! Even when I was off work last week with flu everyone thought I must be pregnant. Think it's being 28 everyone assumes you're trying!!!

Try being almost 36 and ttc #1!! I can feel my clock ticking I don't need everyone telling me!! 😂 Xx
