Start of the two week wait - anyone else?

I'm 3dpo. Done all I can this month so just the waiting game now to see if it's worked! Anyone else testing around 25th January?

Carla, I'm sorry I can't tell from that photo if it's positive or not. I'd test again in a couple of days if I were you (or actually knowing me the next day!)

Bows - I've not tracked my cycles for long but yes have had a couple of shorter LPs. I have no advice on this - I used to have only about 10 days before I conceived my first DC and worried about it but I got pregnant and he's currently scoffing his breakfast right next to me.

Oh and I have just tested on an Internet cheapie at 9dpo (I know, I know...) and got a resounding BFN. No more spotting for the moment but its bid unusual for me to have on and off spotting before AF properly arrives

Thanks for the reply upforathird. That does reassure me that a shorter lp doesn't necessarily point to having problems
8dpo today and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. Only time will tell...

Upforathird sounds like we are in a similar situation. I had spotting yesterday but it didn't come to anything so I tested this morning and BFN. Got a bit excited a couple of hours later when I looked at the test again and there was a faint line, but it's gone now so it was just an evap line.

Oh well, there is a glass of with my name on it tonight!

Only cycle 1 for me after coming off pill. No idea when/if I ovulated. Period 'due' on 27th but because it's only cycle 1 I'm presuming they'll be a bit messed up anyway. Have resisted the urge to buy any tests. But tomorrow is the day I'll buy a few and try to wait til 27th!

I'm due AF 25th! I'm having all the crampy feels last couple of days tho so I'm not sure I want to waste a test as I'm pretty sure I'm out for this month! Will see how tomorrow goes, I don't have any FRER in so may buy tomorrow.

Thats the problem of having them in the house... i only have a couple of ic which I know will be too soon and a superdrug one which is sensitive.. ill be gutted if its bfn and think I wasted it.. but clinging on that I would see a faint line.. grrr the tww

Sorry to hear that lexi. How are you feeling now? Hope your period comes soon so you're starting a new cycle.

I bought some tests this morning but have asked DH to hide them somewhere in the house so that I won't be tempted in the week! Hoping that helps me, although I feel like AF is on its way - period-type cramps and my pants feel a bit wet so I keep going to the loo to check . It's only my first cycle off the pill so if AF does come it'd be very early (my cycle would have been like 21 days).

Bummer lexi, but it ain't over until AF arrives. I'm wishing she would turn up for me, all logic says I'm out for this month and I just want to start afresh!

MrsBows when I came off the pill my cycles were all over the place, anything from 25 to 63 days. Cheap OPKs off the internet might be worth considering.

Good idea, thanks. I have some supermarket OPKs I bought in a flight of impatience last week. Before actively TTC I always told myself that I wouldn't use them as I didn't see the use, but after a cycle of complete unknown (no EWCM as far as I can tell so no idea about ovulation) I can see how they could be worth a try next time.

Hi guys, I came off cerazette on Boxing Day (mini pill). No idea if ovulation has restarted but I had EWCM on 9&10 jan and we have been DTD quite a bit so there is a chance I could be pregnant if it has. Getting sore boobs which I never had even pre pill. Done a few tests but all negative. I'll be testing again on 24th.. if I ovulated on 10th is that long enough to wait?

Sounds like you DTD at the right time, Grumpy. Did you get a withdrawal bleed? 14DPO should be a good time to test!

Symptom spotting is so natural in the 2WW isn't it, Mummyme? I don't know much about cervix position, but the sore boobs and twinges could be a sign. Are you keeping track of them with an app? I have been putting my symptoms into Ovia.

mrsbosh I am a neurotic symptom spotter. If my OH knew 😱 I think a high cervix is positive for pregnancy but not reliable

Yes 63 days was a stupidly long cycle, the one after was 59 days! Thankfully we weren't TTC at the time of I would have driven myself crazy peeing on sticks.

AF has arrived here. I knew it but still can't help feeling a teensy bit disappointed. I'm going to monitor things a bit more this month - although it looks like we will be staying with my parents at fertile time which will be awkward!

Really hoping for BFPs for everyone else soon.

Absolutely no symptoms here except from being tired. I'm still hoping for a BFP though - I didn't have any symptoms with DC and was in denial that I could possibly be pregnant.

Hi ladies I'm on the same cycle as you so thought I'd join if you don't mind! X took a test today 10dpo using mid day wee 😬. Not sure if this is a shadow/indent or very faint start of positive? I'm due on 28/29th so I know it's still early just looking for others opinions xx good luck everyone also x

Looks like there is something there! I'm due AF tomorrow, took a £1 cheapie test at lunch time and a definite BFN for me. FX for you!!
