Congratulations carmen Smile wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy!

GN06 · 03/02/2017 13:17

CD26 today, last cycle was 29 days, so based on that, I'll probably test on Tuesday if af hasn't arrived already.

Feeling like you Holly, and feeling absolutely nothing whatsoever!

Somethingtotalkabout1982 · 03/02/2017 13:41

Congrats to all with BFP's!!

Fingers crossed Holly, please let us know how the next couple of days go!

Misty - I just wanted to comment on coming off the pill as I've been off since around July last year and every month has been different. I still don't feel that my cycles are back on track although I think slowly getting there with each month that has passed.

I was on a different pill before we conceived DS1 and it only took until the second month to fall pregnant. Since being pregnant, I went back onto the pill about 6 weeks after the birth and DS is now 2.5 yrs old and it's all taking longer to go back to normal this time. I'm frustrated with how long it's taking but if I think about what my body's been through it's no surprise it doesn't just all click back into place just like that straight away.

Loxy4527 · 03/02/2017 13:54

The testing addiction is something I didn't expect with ttc. Did a stupid amount the second month we tried, only one last month and I did one two days ago in a moment of madness. Thinking of doing one tomorrow morning... I'm justifying it because I need to know if I'm okay to have a bottle of wine with my friends in the evening or not hahaha.

MistyBxx · 03/02/2017 14:21

Thank you something, that's good to know. I was really worried because pre-pill back in my late teens, af was all over the place, heavy, lasted 7-8 days and completely irregular cycles! Went on mini pill followed by implant (worst 3 years ever... had 3 periods a month! One big and 2 little!) fought with docs the whole 3 years to get it out of me, they didn't want to take it out! After they did, I went on microgynon (which changed name to rigividon couple of years ago) and never looked back, heard awful reports of strokes and clots and god knows what else but it was amazing for me, 3-4 days light periods clockwork every month. And since I've been off it, although a LOT more painful and symptommy, still fairly regular. I had one long cycle 38 days but I'd taken pregnacare conception that month and apparently that plays havoc with cycles! I didn't realise til too late. But seems to have settled back to 28-31 days. I just wish the symptoms were the same every month but just keep getting new ones lol. And would be nice if it could stay the same number of days for at least 2 months running lol x

Somethingtotalkabout1982 · 03/02/2017 15:07

Funny you should mention Pregnacare as we've just started taking it this month..I'll see how it goes!
My plan is to give TTC a good year and if no joy then will go to GP to see if they can check all is okay. I feel better about it having a bit of a plan and also feel very lucky to already have DS1 so if DC2 isn't meant to be then I consider myself very lucky anyway.

MissMagpie · 03/02/2017 15:22

It's funny that a few of you have mentioned Pregnacare - I took it and it shortened my cycle from 35+ days to a random 28.

I am now taking the Boots conception support tablets.

I don't know if it's linked but I haven't had a cold or virus all winter so am wondering if the vitamins are doing my immune system some good or if it is down the the fact that last year - DS's first at nursery - I caught all the bugs going and am having a year off!

Babycarmen · 03/02/2017 15:25

Lovechild symptoms - sore boobs after ovulation which is normal before af but they settled down a bit instead of getting worse.
Lots of CM.
The most obvious was constant nausea which lasts all day since ovulation and very light headed! Which is worrying because I had hyperemesis with my previous pregnancy Hmm
Stitch like paid but I've had it at both sides of my pelvis and in the middle!!
No implantation bleeding or spotting at all and I had quite a lot last time.
Random headaches
EXTREME hunger AND thirst!!

Redpony1 · 03/02/2017 15:32

carmen I had no idea 'stitch like' pain was a symptom! I've had it since 2dpo, it came apparent when i was running that day, but it didn't go away and i have had it since, increased pain when i run. I think (thought?!) it was a pulled muscle. I am 7dpo now

MistyBxx · 03/02/2017 15:40

Hi redpony, I had a very distinct stitch-like pain very low down on the left of my tum which occasionally dotted into the middle below belly button but mostly on lower left, it was so different to normal af cramps and was one symptom I was really hopeful about, thought it could have been implantation, it was for a good 3 days about 9-12dpo then pain stopped and af arrived massively 😳

Redpony1 · 03/02/2017 15:57

Thanks Misty, Mine is definite pain on the right side, it intensified so much that i had to stop running (unheard of for me) and was nearly sick, i limped home in pain and it's been on & off since Saturday. I can actually feel it now if i breath deeply too. I'm still convinced i have pulled a muscle though!

Carlotta82248 · 03/02/2017 16:26

3dpo, pre 3 nights, got a stupid email saying I'm 11 weeks pregnant today (misc at 5wks) and I'm generally feeling mega down :(

MotherofUnicorns · 03/02/2017 17:52

MistyBxx · 03/02/2017 21:55

Pony you never know chick, just relax and take it easy and look out for more symptoms!

And unicorn pink wiping could be implantation!!

I'm currently drinking a lovely strongbow dark fruits, screw you af!! 🍷

Coffee3 · 03/02/2017 22:09

Dammit! Tested again today - still bfn (11dpo I think)
I was ill around fw so was trying not to get my hopes up but am not so secretly feeling impatient!

HollyMay84 · 04/02/2017 06:29

HollyMay84 · 04/02/2017 07:41

Ah! Thank you ladies! I can't believe it's happened! Wasn't expecting it at all. It was our first month ttc again properly after a "break" and we only dtd on the day of ovulation so was convinced it wasn't going to happen!

I keep going from being scared and in denial to getting over excited and dancing round the house Blush

Oysterbabe · 04/02/2017 07:58

Congratulations!! Very clear lines, you are preggo GrinGrin

Motherhippy16 · 04/02/2017 08:34

MissMagpie · 04/02/2017 08:45

Congratulations Holly. The cross is particularly clear. So happy for you.

I have just got a high fertility reading on my Clear Blue opk. Early for me this month. However Ovia has my fertile week as starting in Weds and hasn't changed it after putting in today's test! Good job I am not just going on the app!
