Hi everyone,
Thought I'd kick of the Feb bus.
I'm ttc #3 and it isn't easy this time.......
I'm planning on giving Feb all I've got - who's with me??!

Ha funny, couldn't understand why people were saying Ovia was giving them suggested test days ..mine never says anything... then some one somewhere mentioned the settings

I had mine set to not trying yet!! Sorted it now ...8 days to go

Can I jump on the bus?! I'm on CD13 TTC#1 at the grand old age of 34. This is technically cycle 3 but I was away during suspected FW of cycle 1 and had flu for cycle 2 so hopefully this is the month. FW due to start tomorrow and AF due on the 20th.

Hi Kate, I'm 32 ttc #1, you're not alone in the 30+ :) best of luck, I'm cd28 and currently in the middle of massive af pains, but no sign of the actual af yet, but she's on her way lol.
Maybe next month which will be cycle 6 (although only 4 of actual ttc, came off pill end of Aug but didn't start right away!)

Welcome Kate! The more the (slightly neurotic) merrier! Misty I have the same...didn't even have a period for about 11 years on the pill and now that all my hormones are natural my body is cramping and aching and being in emotional turmoil from ov to af! X makes it so difficult to know what is what. That's why the link I posted on what to eat during the cycle will hopefully help perk me up and give my bodynamic he nutrients it needs. However I say this as I've got a large glass of red in my hands (tough week...I deserve it! Wink) x

SOrry you are cramping misty you never know though - it could be pg pains..... You're not out til you're out.
I am feeling similar, cd24 and thinking af will be there every time i go to the toilet! I am going to hold out until sunday. I am away this weekend and i am hoping i can resist taking a HPT with me (if af hasn't appeared by then!)

Ov test veeeeeery negative today so assuming I've ov'd

Hopefully will have caught it having DTD a couple of times. Will be again tonight for good measure and sat just incase Grin

Officially 10DPO and really not that hopeful. Had full cramps for the past few days and just no AF will arrive bang on time!

Is anybody else surrounded by pregnancy? 4 work friends are pregnant every time I move out of the department I see at least 2 pregnant women or new born babies!

Sorry but of a rant but it's making me really emotional! (Especially when you've just cried your eyes out watching teen mom 2)

I'm back and symptom spotting again lol just a quick question... was just having a wee. Once I'd finished, I was just sitting on the toilet for a couple of mins reading my phone and then I got this really sharp shooting pain in my lower left side (kinda just below my ovary) which nearly made me jump off the toilet :/ it only lasted a couple of seconds. Then I got another two and then nothing. Am I dying??

Hey girlies, well I've been full on clutching at straws tonight... beware, gross detail ahead lol started spotting in work about 4pm, literally brown smudges only on wiping, but nothing else. This is unusual coz when af arrives with me, it's like something out of the exorcist, literally, I go from 0-massacre in one toilet visit 😂 so even when I got home this eve, more peeing, more wiping and very little brown smudges. Well what do you think I thought... omfg I'm implanting! So, I went for a lie down, chilled out, had a nap (felt rough anyway from cramping badly all day) got back up, more pee, not a spot on my liner, slight brown on tissue! Heart was racing! Came downstairs like "omg I can't wait for sat to test, shall I do one now? No, wait til sat" smiling to myself and everything like shit, this is it omg like... then... (don't even need the suspense really lol) BOOM feel something "exit" me down below, rush to toilet, ta daaaa it's like a scene from Saw III. Fml. In the words of Duncan bannatyne, for that reason, I'm out! 😩

I have a weird clutching at straws symptom for you ladies - my boobs smell! Like breast milk. Those of you who have breastfed know what mean??? Stale sickly smell. Obvs due to Af hormones but still feel like it's worth one little straw to clutch at!!

My update - I tested early AGAIN! I know, I know. So stupid. BFN. I'll test again at the weekend if AF hasn't arrived but I'm getting lots of pre-menstrual symptoms now.

I am gutted girls! Now I don't know what to do,I'm thinking of giving Feb a miss if I'm honest, partly coz I don't want to have to say "this is my 6th month of trying" coz that's half a year 😳 if I was 3 years older, I'd be going to the docs after 6 months, and that's terrifying to me.

And partly coz I don't want a Christmas baby lol 🙈😂 I know that sounds ridiculous haha but I just don't!

I've had an absolute shitter of a day at work, exhausted. Finally go into the lounge tonight to sit down and have a cup of tea only to find DH has put up a bracket on the fucking wall and there is his bright fucking red electric guitar hanging off it! Last straw!!! Seriously what is the point of trying to make a room look nice when you have a plank of husband that does things like this? He knew I would hate it so he did it in secret so I couldn't stop him, non!
I kicked off big time, the guitar will NOT be staying on the wall!! Sorry, completely irrelevant to ttc! Just felt like the icing on the cake for this week! Am feeling so tired and now getting stabby af cramps. Wish it would just hurry up now, am in a right grump ha! Am thinking we will try for one more cycle with OPK and then maybe have a break for a little while. although if DH doesn't move that fucking guitar I'm never having sex with him again

ttcnovice ahh don't! I don't think I can take much more!

I have a counselling session tomorrow due to work stress and can already see myself breaking down over all of this! All of my friends just 'fell' pregnant without trying! Went to a little ones birthday party at the weekend and have never felt more like a 3rd wheel in my life Sad

Misty I feel exactly the same, don't really want a baby too close to Christmas. Tbh it's not even just about it being close to Christmas, I've always felt I don't want to have a newborn in the middle of winter if had he choice. I suffer with SAD in winter and I just worry I would find it really tough with a newborn as we don't have family around to give any help either. If it takes a long time ttc then we will just go with the flow but atm I think I'm planning to avoid being due in the winter months.
