Happy New Year! It's 2017 and it's OUR year

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Glad I'm not the only one regarding having a clear out, it's a good thing to be doing in the 2ww of you need a distraction.

OH and I paid off our wedding rings in town, I'm so so happy. I don't know if it's bad luck to wear it before but I just wanted to make sure mine fitted.

Pic doesn't do it justice but it's a Celtic knot design, OH has the same but his pattern is oxidised to make it more masculine.

Skipper a clear out makes good sense to me. That ring is beautiful

I didn't get baby bombed but did have a little cry in the toilet 😞 Feel like a piece of me is missing. Think I need to do a clear out or something like you guys to distract me

binky I think we have all had to sneak away for a private cry during this ttc-lark (I certainly have!). look after yourself.

Well done for holding it together binky a little cry in the loo is definitely needed every now and then. I enjoyed seeing my friends baby and had a little cuddle. Glad I'm in stable hormone part of cycle, if this was TWW I'd be a mess!

It's so hard isn't it? We had lunch at a pub today and we were surrounded by what seemed to be the entire infant population of north London. Meanwhile, we were discussing the various fertility tests we're having over the next month or so :/

Jam, we're west london at the moment but are considering moving a bit further up and out so we were property hunting in north london today. Are you based that way? I'm a west/south west london girl at heart but trying to see where we can get the most for our money!

mum your opk is picking up an increase in hormones compatible with a bfp or just AF.
Frer is a first-response pregnancy test.

EJ it's rubbish feeling so mixed with TTC isn't it. I've spent today trying to remind myself that others happiness is not in competition with mine, that my time will come. Like jam said maybe we'll find it better as our hormones go throughout the cycle?

Hi everyone - fuck it day was a great success and a fab distraction even though AF properly started and I felt like the pic below during the first part of our hike! Anadin saved the day though along with a few of our favourite ales at the end 🙂 It was great to get out and do something even though I'm feeling quite down about everything (AF hormones don't help). Just never thought we'd still be going at cycle 8 - even though I know that's totally normal.

That's really tough EJ - don't feel bad, what you're feeling is normal. All of our times will come.

Binky the difference in how I feel / cope at different points of my cycle is very marked. TWW I'm a total mess. Second week / fertile week is the best - which is where I'm at now

Pyjamas hurrah to a successful fuck it day! Reaching cycle 8 was a really hard point for me. Hang in there.

Thank you all. Made my excuses and i dont feel too bad as i feel like you all have my back . She does know how much i want a baby so it's probably not a hreat suprise to her. I cried on her a few months ago.

Interesting re best point of the month. tww i feel better than fertile week as i never expect to be pregnant ( i dont symptom spot much now) and i feel like i can think about ttc less as its out my hands. I find my fertile time stressful trying to make sure i time things right & dh wants to dtd ( his sex drive is low) & af just makes me sad.

Its my sort of tww now & im playing a game of guess when af is due. Its a bit like pin the tail on the donkey but for periods. Given my odd cycle this month, its anyones guess when she might arrive. Monday would be day 28 & im usually a 28 day girl, but i got a +ve opk on day 20 but nothing to indicate ovulation occured.

I'm early in cycle so god knows what I'd have been like today if I was in 2WW 😂 I'm at the "I must do everything I can to conceive this cycle" stage atm, my fridge is full of goodness knows what that I'm trying to eat to make juicy eggs (and loose some Christmas and holiday weight!)

I'm also a London girl atm! South east though

EJ hope that AF behaves and keeps away ready for a BFP. The guessing what's happening is awful. I agree that the FW is stressful too- despite feeling crushed when AF arrives I probably feel most normal then as I know where I stand. Rest of cycle is trying to second guess whether I'm ovulating, implanting etc
