Happy New Year! It's 2017 and it's OUR year

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Jam - 7dpo, but it's too early to test for pg so he cant give me anything. There's no way pregnant after this though but I know it's just procedure.

Am about 13dpo London - so too late for implantation bleed I think. Spotting has now stopped. So strange.

CD14 my OD is tomorrow (DTD last night)

So as you can tell I'm fresh out the tin.. literally taking the first steps on this journey. Have been back reading the thread but not quite caught up yet!

Quick q: Is TWW 'two week window'? (I'll get there eventually!)

Also just wanted to share that as I type my DP is fast asleep beside me and my cat is curled up underneath the blanket on the bed too, bless.

Welcome gimble! Just ask about any acronyms. There is a MN page with most of them.

Question, If you have longer cycles than 28 days do you go by DPO or day of expected AF when testing?

I'm 13DPO but AF isn't due until next Wednesday. Tests advise to wait until expected day of AF but surely 13dpo you could get a BFP if you were pregnant?

We have out own special acronym on this thread: LSFX = legs spread, fingers crossed, describing the position your body needs to be in when you are seeking your BFP but wishing luck to others (and yourself).

colour I am 12dpo, with AF due tuesday-ish.

Unless you are planning a boozy weekend, it is best to wait. I will be making my "can't drinking- i'm driving excuse" this weekend, and test next friday I think.

The complete lack of FRERs make it easier.

I think today is my OD.. how accurate are these apps?! I'm using one called 'Cycles' which is quite good as you can input loads of info. Ann I missing the party with a better one?

Also: my sister in law is a nutritionist and recommended the pregnancy pills in the photo attached so thought I'd share. She said they're much better than the wellwomen ones as they're all natural. Normally I'm weary about all this but you should see her - she stunning and had a beautiful little girl after 3 months trying so maybe she's doing something right!
