Thanks lovechild I've got a FRER and a CB digital, but I think the expense is the thing that's making me hold off. But maybe I'll go for it, I'm so tempted. I think it's going to be a BFN though, I felt different the other day, kept having twinges etc, but today I feel totally normal again. Although I am exhausted and very achy but that could just be the Christmas build up catching up on me.

Bertie - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Carlotta82248 · 19/12/2016 10:14

Sending love to everyone, I had no idea how stressful ttc was going to be and really just thought it would happen straight away. I'm 34 so when it didn't started to beat myself up straight away that I'd left it too long etc.....us girls are so hard on ourselves! Even doing everything 'right' in a month the percentage is so small so it's totally normal for it to take a while, but it's so so hard when you want it so much. Bluebell my initial lines were sooo feint so keeping my fingers crossed for you. Those bfns I'm thinking of you, wishing you a boozy Christmas and lots of festive frolicking! Those in the 2ww, sending you love too! Xx

Lovechild2016 · 19/12/2016 10:22

bluebell yes it's criminal how expensive they are! Especially at this time of year. I used my double points boots voucher to make myself feel better. Thanks carlotta you are right we hard on ourselves, lovely to know it does work out ok though. how are you feeling? Xx

Hippychic79 · 19/12/2016 10:25

thank you Lovechild xxx
I'd say some cycles are easier than others, this cycle i convinced myself i was pregnant for seeing those BFN results have just broken my heart, I'm struggling today, but I guess its the anticipated visit from the witch. As if its not bad enough getting a negative, we then have to deal with cramps and feeling like crap for a few days. Oh mother nature, why are you so hard on us?

xxxxx

Kskifred · 19/12/2016 11:34

Hippy I know it is hard but try not to think it's all over, until AF shows you aren't out so try to relax, I know easier said than done! It's a very stressful process and understand your disappointment but it may well just be too early for your tests to pick up the hcg levels.

I went a bit quiet on here, the 1st week of cycle is pretty boring and depressing as you gear up for FW. I was telling my close friend the other day about my chemical last cycle and that it knocked the festive fun out of me and she made a good point on the PMA front - try and see it as celebrating your last Christmas together with just DS before the crazy mayhem of another child - it will never be just the three of you again. The same works for those ttc DC1 - try and see this as the last Christmas you get to be footloose and fancy free with ALL the wine and pate Christmas has to offer. Chances are this time next year most if not all of us will have another little person to care for. PMA!!

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 12:13

Ok so I buckled!!!!! I did another FRER! what do you think?

I'll post Saturdays test picture which is the one against the instructions. And then today's test picture.

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 12:14

I'm still worried as everywhere I read tells me CB are less reliable and show a BFP later, and these FRER are more faint than the CB?! Arghhhh.

Lovechild2016 · 19/12/2016 12:30

I can't see any line on the first test (the one against the instructions) but can see a vey faint line on the second test.

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 12:39

Thanks lovechild - the first one is a real squinter. The second one seems a lot more pink. Hmmmmm.

Tinkerbell2319 · 19/12/2016 12:40

Same I can see a faint one on the second test Smile

ringroads · 19/12/2016 12:45

I can see something on both bluebell!! X

OkyDoke · 19/12/2016 13:10

Faint on the second one here too :)

Kskifred · 19/12/2016 13:25

I can see a faint one on the second pic - congrats! I would trust the frer over cb as they are known for misleading blue evap lines but don't think a pink dye test lies...either way it's a positive however faint so fingers crossed it gets darker in a few days x

Motherhippy16 · 19/12/2016 13:56

Good afternoon all. Have kinda given up this month as only managed to dtd twice in fw due to horrible flu and cold which doesn't exactly scream sexy! Earliest I can test is sat so trying to keep busy by rush buying Christmas things! Am feeling a bit twingy and tired but not surprising at this time of year lots of love to all x

IntelligentPutty · 19/12/2016 14:36

I can see something on both bluebell.
X

janiPop · 19/12/2016 14:49

I can see a very faint line on the first test and a stronger line with more colour on the second one. I'd trust the FR over CB. congratulations x

Hippychic79 · 19/12/2016 15:03

Thank you ksk for your optimism - they were cheap tests and still no sign of af but then she is due tomorrow and due to acupuncture all my symptoms have gone. I'm trying to stay optimistic but pragmatic at the same time. I guess if it's meant to be it will be if not then try again and enjoy the restful sleep.
Good luck bluebell xxxxxxx
And fx for all waiting xxxxx

powerpuffer · 19/12/2016 16:01

I couldn't see anything first time I looked but I've just looked again and there are definite faint lines on both! Eeeep for you!

bluesdetoi · 19/12/2016 16:17

Hi ladies,

I havent been around for a few weeks and didnt even see theres a new December thread, just posted in the old.

Anyway, to sum up my ramblings - thought I was out, been depressed, felt AF coming yesterday and today SO much. Took a test before, and I'm so confused..

It kinda looks like a squinter? Ive gone blind from staring, give me your fresh eyes, please. AF is due on Wednesday.

Lovechild2016 · 19/12/2016 16:22

I can see a line, and a lines a line!! How many DPO? Congrats! Xxx

bluesdetoi · 19/12/2016 16:27

Thanks Lovechild, I was starting to believe I was lying to myself with the squinter.

Not sure how many days DPO, i haven't been able to get a positive on the OPKs and I'm not charting. Ovia estimated it to have been on December 10th though, so 9 days give or take.

Wow I cannot believe this. With all the stark white tests Ive taken, its gonna take more than that measly line to convince me.

Lovechild2016 · 19/12/2016 16:36

I know what you mean blues When it does happen I'm not going to believe it until there is a baby in my arms but I think you are well on your way! I know you said been feeling low and like AF coming but any other symptoms? Maybe try a frer tomorrow for fmu for confirmation?

powerpuffer · 19/12/2016 16:39

I can definitely see a line! Faint, but it's there! Eeeeeep! So exciting for you, congratulations!

Tinkerbell2319 · 19/12/2016 16:44

I can see it too blues congrats!

MissMagpie · 19/12/2016 16:46

Hello bluesdetoi. I wondered where you had gone.
That is a definite squinter. Maybe wait another couple of days and try again with FMU on a FRER?

bluebell - I'm not sure if I see anything but I am not well practised in this so don't trust me. Try again tmrw?

So sorry to everyone who has had a BFN. I agree with those who say, you just have to try and put this month behind you, enjoy the next couple of weeks and then start again when your FW arrives next time.
It is like the most unfun merry-go-round ever at times though.

I am 7dpo and trying not to symptom spot. So I definitely haven't noticed sharp pains on the right side around the ovary/womb area or that my boobs feel tingly and sore. After all it is too early for symptoms anyway.....
