So I've come home from the in laws and did a cheap OPK.. line isn't as dark as the control line but definitely darker than my negatives. I am sure I must be about to ovulate as every time I pee in a cup to do an OPK I see clumps of (sorry far TMI) EWCM.

Hi all been TC for nearly two years now ... mc in May. I have a 12 yo DS so there will be a big gap !!! Hoping this is my month ...can I be put down for the 31st please xx

Oh Hippychick I'm sorry you are finding it so hard right now. Its so disheartening when you start TTC and it's so exciting and you expect to fall pg within a few months, then nothing happens and you Google it and realise it's not usual to take 6-12 months to conceive. Then every cycle you can't help but get your hopes up and then AF arrives and you're crushed. Most of us here have experienced that, it's natural to get excited and optimistic, then you learn to be realistic and accept you will be to be patient and that it might take a bit longer than you would like, but the chances are very very high that it will happen one day - and then you will be caught in the whirlwind of pregnancy and it will go so quickly and before you know it you'll have your baby in you arms! Just take a deep breath and take each day at a time. You will get there, and each day is bringing you closer to your baby. As others on this thread have said it's all about Positive Mental Attitude

hippychick I completely understand your frustration. I'm the same each month. I prefer to POAS from ridiculously early rather than wait for AF but I think both ways are just horrible. We are all in this together and understand how horrible the journey can be. But soon, it will be so so worth it. I'm sure of it.

I've still got this horrible illness but have managed to DTD Weds, Thurs, Sat and today (Sunday). Based on past cycles I should ovulate today but my OPKs are not quite positive yet so it might be tomorrow for me I guess, or I've not POAS at quite the right time yesterday/today. Ho hum. Will try and get some more action in over the next couple of days - to make the TWW seem shorter, if nothing else. AF due on New Years Eve.

BertieBotts maybe he knows something you don't. Mine has just started having indigestion, told him he might be having symptoms for me

He had symptoms for me when I was pregnant back in April. He was resolutely unexcited last time so I expected the same again. I have just eaten a second dinner and am still hungry though so perhaps he has a point.

I am seriously tempted to run to the shop in the morning and grab a test to do when DS leaves for school. I don't have to leave for work until 10.30/11ish.

I did, um, also fish Friday's test out of the bin and stare at it but absolutely nothing there.

CD14. I got another flashing smiley face today but convinced i ovulated yesterday. I won't be using these CB things again I don't think. Stressing me out 😂

I'm obsessed. I did a cheap OPK and it's positive and I'm having back ache and cramps/achey sensations in my groin this morning. I've dtd for 4 consecutive nights.. not sure if I can do another night I'm knackered 😂

Still no news from me. Multiple BFN but lots of positive OPKs. Not a clue when AF will show or when I ovulated. have made an appointment to see a doctor on Wednesday as I'm convinced my hormones are all over the place!

According to ovia my longest cycle is 42 days so will test on Christmas Eve and if that's negative I'm definitely out.

I'm still trying to resist testing again. My tests were so faint last week, and came up later than the suggested time on some of them so I'm not convinced. if I count the bleed before out and say it wasn't AF then AF is due between 21st and 27th depending on length of my cycle. My last one was 34 days! So confused.

11dpo today and BBT has dipped by 0.4 degrees C... it's not below the cover line but it's the lowest I've had since ov

Does this mean AF is en route? First month temping so not really sure what it means if anything yet :/

bluebell I'm not sure! I don't know exactly when I ovulated. I think up until Wednesday the witch is fair game.

I never thought a bfp would take this long...
i need to go easy on myself though as o/h and i only baby danced once in my fertile window and it was slightly too early. we dtd on day 13 and i got a smiley face on opk on day 15. Like Mummyme - I'm just pleased I'm ovulating as i don't think i was when i first started TTC.

Morning everyone. A bit of a roller coaster over the weekend it seems. hippychick, bertie and claire sorry for stressful BFN, I also caved and did a internet cheapie today 8DPO (well I think) which no matter how many different lights or ways I looked at it was negative! Feeling your pain, I'm also cycle 3 and 32 yrs old so trying to keep a lid on anxiety as power is totally right, for the vast majority it WILL happen but it often takes 6-12 months 💐 Big love to you all and hang in there. As for the BFP wow! Amazing news girls: ash and okey so happy for you, hope you are feeling ok and they are sticky beans bluebell I think you are an a example to us all with your patience at what must be such a tricky time. I agree wait as long as you can as only time will give you the answer but I don't know if I could be that restrained, big hugs to you and keeping all crossed for a much darker line when you do test.
