January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Thanks Bertie I find it all very confusing, tested again and still a bfn so will test again in the morning

10/11dpo is still very early to get a positive, I would wait until your period is actually late, you save money on tests then!

I got married in October and am so desperate for a baby. Was 4 days early with this cycle so it seems to be going quickly. Came off the pill in October and blood tests have shown that I am ov each month which is positive. Fx for all the bfps in the new year. Fertile window from around 3rd-10th ish as this cycle was shorter. X x x

Hi mother as I've just come off the pill, I'm really interested to hear your experiences so far? How soon before period?

@motherhippy do you mind me asking how you got the blood tests? I thought you had to be trying for quite a while before docs would do them? I'm only on cycle 4 but super impatient! I like to plan everything so the lack of control over TTC is annoying me 😂😂

Hmyh you sound like me. I'm on cycle 3 and I'm driving myself insane as I hate being out of control 😩

I've ordered some cheapie OPKs from the internet. But they won't arrive until later this week, by which time I suspect that my FW will be over based on my last few confusing cycles. At least I have them if I need them in future (hopefully I won't need them anyway!!).

If AF is going to turn up I wish she just would!! I tested again tonight and BfN. Felt like AF was coming all morning then aches stopped. Brown discharge when I check my cervix but that's it. I never normally get that pre AF, usually just starts straight off. Official due date is tomorrow

When was your AF due mummy could it be implantation bleeding? X

@bluebell17 lol well I'm pleased it's not just me. Its cycle 4 for us but only really cycle 2 of properly going for it. Just hope it happens quickly because frankly I'm busy and I can't cope with this much sex on top of everything else on my to do list 😂😂😂

Hmyh I had my bloods done at 7 mths, just went to see my gp and told him my cycles were becoming erratic which is unusual for me so they tracked me every week for a month. All was normal so he's sent me away to dtd until 1 year. Xx

Sshsecretenclosed I came off the pill at the end of October as I didn't want my hormones to be up and down for my wedding. I had really bad mood swings, abdominal pain headaches nausea and fatigue. Hmyh I had an appointment with my Dr booked in anyway and I mentioned that I had come off my pill. He just wanted to check that nothing else was going on (he is fantastic). When we got the results he explained that I was ovulating which was very positive first cycle off the pill. I was on noriday and cerezete before that for 10 years. Cycles have been regular although this one was 4 days early. X

Fingers crossed for you it doesn't!! If you don't usually get spotting then maybe it could be a good sign!! I got some spotting just before AF was due but had already got my BFP so I was worried!! I then went to the doctors and he told me it's normal and could happen just before AF or even after you get a BFP X

Oh that's good, GPs can be such a mixed bag.

@sarahboro1 hope it happens for you soon. I'm just finding the whole process frustrating even though I know I just need to be patient!

Thanks hmyh me too! Although 10 cycles in and we're not very hopeful. OH and I had a little chat and are pretty much both resigned to it not happening for us naturally. ☹️ Worse still I saw a photo of my exes first baby on Facebook today, born just before Xmas so they must have conceived just as OH and I were starting to ttc. Boy did that hurt seeing that. Xx

Hmyh it's crazy how much this all consumes our minds isn't it.

I've never wanted each day to pass so quickly during particular weeks so that I can POAS. Crazy.

I think that if we say my brown spotting was AF then I'm due to ovulate soon, although no OPKs until they arrive in the post. I have af like cramps tonight although very mild, backache too. Symptom spotting for everything!

Just out of interest is there anyone here with thyroid disorders that are TTC? I myself was born without a thyroid which if not managed correctly can cause fertility and pregnancy problems.

Jumping aboard the bus if you don't mind ladies, following a rather confusing am I aren't I? end to 2016. Clearly I'm not Worst part is that I got DHs hopes up today by showing him what I assumed was a bfp only for the witch to appear about an hour later

Hi can I join? Ttc #1 got married in October came off the pill on my return from honeymoon. Everything appears to be all back to normal. We tried last month but want to use opks this month to check I'm not missing the mark.

Official BFP for me on a clearblue digital (pregnant 1-2 weeks). It hasn't sunken in yet!
