2 days late BFN- What is the latest anyone has had a BFP...

Hi I started the thread CD21 Pink EWCM.. Now I am two/three days late as my cycle fluctuates from 29/30 each month.. i.e one month 29, next 30, next 29... so think it is normal..
No signs of period.. very sore boobs and also have a strong garlic taste in mouth, also a bit like smoking 25 fags on a night out like I used to.. not metallic tho...
Sent dh for test but just poeed couldn't hold it so am going to have wait another 4 hrs.. for those of you who go through this with my near on EVERY month, sorry for being a nightmare pain!

I just wanted reassurance that not everyone gets a BFP before or on the day your AF is late.. and a late BFP can be normal.. xxxx????

Awww guys we gotta try hold hope, sorry you came on 🙏🏽 I am Due on in 2 days period pains already. 15th failed month.. we have started private treatment now (can’t go through nhs as my boyfriend has a child from a previous relationship) 2 weeks time we will find out what routes best for us, got to have scans and test first! it’s so so stressful and depressing coming on every month! Trying to stay positive is hard! I pray we all get what we are asking for soon enough Xx

It really is difficult. How long have you all been trying? It's hard not having anyone to talk to apart from my husband! We've only been trying since January for our first child and already had s missed miscarriage which was hard! It keeps playing on my mind that I'm 33 this year and hubby is 36 so time is running out. I hope we all have good news next month xx

I always think my times running out aswell. It’s not you still have plenty of time. Sorry about the miscarriage must be terrible to experience that! Try going doctors and askin for some test? My partner is 36 also, he has 2 kids and I have zero so it makes it a lot harder I just want mine. I want 2-3 kids and I keep worrying he may get to old. We have been trying for 15th months now and every failed month makes me feel so depressed, I feel like I have no one to speak with also. Feels as if it’s never going to happen :( x

How old are you if you don't mind me asking? It must be awful after 15 months, every month just waiting and hoping. I'm glad you're seeing a specialist now. Xx

I am 26 my partners 36.. it’s draining I must say and I am finding it so difficult. I am full of anxiety worrying time’s running out (because my partners age not mine) or what if I can only have one or what if I can’t have any minds gone crazy!The only advise I get from people is stop thinking about it it will happen or your trying to hard. so Iv stopped expressing how I feel to friends because no one understand unles your ttc yourself. It’s the most stressful thing right? ! Xx

2 late BFPs

1st pregnancy 19 dpo (baby came on due date, so not late ovulation)
right now, very light positive today, at 17 dpo

So stressful. Keep me updated with what the specialist says. I can obviously have children as I got pregnant but worried that there may be something wrong if I had a missed miscarriage but apparently it's a lot more common than you think!

Hi im currently 2 days late. Had a bfp today. Im cramping slightly and mild nausea. I had ewcm yesterday and pink spotting once. Today ive had thick milky white cm. sorry for tmi. This is cycle 6 ttc and had a chemical pregnancy cycle 4. Feel like i cant help but stress and dont reaally have anyone to discuss with my partner believes im Testing too early

A positive is a positive! Sounds like good news to me. Keep us updated. I've had a nightmare week. Come on my period but had severe cramps and passing clots the size of a 50p even though this was the second period since my missed miscarriage and I didn't have that with the first period! Very strange!

I'm in same boat. AF is 3 days late today. Still got bfn this morning. sore boobs coming on since 20th and I feel a little squeezy in some period of the day. Constipated on 6,7,8 & 9dpo with a pain that hurts both at the chest and back at same time which are none of my AF symptoms. My period is regular. I know I'm preggo but I won't let myself go mad with all these bfn. I'll be going for a sonogram or ultrasound, anyone this weekend. Will keep you guys updated. BTW, GL to us.

I'm in the two week wait, I'm about 7/8 dpo. I'm trying not to get my hopes up this time around band I'm definitely going to hold off testing until my period is late otherwise I drive myself crazy and spend a fortune.

Would love an update from you all as you go as I have no one else to talk to about it.

I'm in the 2 week wait too, 8dpo and stupidly took a test this morning which was obviously BFN. I was just really hoping for the faintest line. AF due on the 9th so I know I need to wait - it's so hard though!

This is only my second cycle off of bc and I wasn’t tracking ovulation so I’m not sure if I ovulated late or not. My cycles were usually 28 days or less and I’m on day 31 today. 3 days late, no cramping today. I’m trying to wait a few more days to test but it’s so hard! Hoping for the best for you guys!

How are you girls getting on? I'm due af on 12th July and really trying to hold off testing but it's so hard! I've had mild cramps but that's all!

I took a test on Monday (10dpo) and got a FPL on a FRER. Couldn't believe it so I took another at night and got the same thing. Yesterday was 11dpo and I got a digital positive!! Very early days but I'm super excited. Wishing you all so much baby dust I got a stark negative on 9dpo so it's crazy how quick it changes! Good luck x

Yay massive congratulations!!!! That is an early positive! I'm around 11/12 dpo but I'm going to hold out testing until Sunday I think which is when I'm due on.

Hey everyone seen this post so after advice. I had my last period 12th June and regular 7 days my cycles are normally 28 cycles give or a take a day. So I think my ovulating date would have been 27th June and I had sex 20th 23rd but both of them he didn't finish in me sorry tmi! And had again on 28th and he did. But on 29th 30th I had a pinky mucus when wiping only and then nothing been feeling so different since then slightly nauseated but that's gone. But had on and off cramping all tests have been bfn. I should have been due on yesterday as my cycles are usually regular but so far nothing but yesterday checked cervix sorta new to that and it did feel hardish bit again I know body if pregnant can take a minute to adjust but noticed when doing this a little pink mucus again just a smudge so thought here she comes AF but had nothing since. Woke up this morning sure I would be on but nothing but still slightly cramping but doesn't feel like cramps I normally get at the start of AF as usually horrendous first two days. I've not got sore boobs or anything either but do have a sore back. Temp has been since 37.2 mark. Had feelings in abdomen like I've done loads of sit ups as well. Tested this morning and still bfn

Should I add I wonder if I ovulated actually late not the 27th but instead the 29th due to the pinky mucus I've only ever had that once before

This month was really anxiety inducing for me. No AF and I was on CD38. No signs of pregnancy and throughout BFNs (don't ask how many tests I took - money down the drain!) I was never on BCPs, and had fairly regular periods: 28-29 day intervals. Last month it was 34, first time beyond 30 days

And this morning, AF arrived. I was never so happy to meet AF as I was this month 😂 But then, hopefully next month is "the" month for us 🤞🏻 However, now my cycle is completely disrupted 😒

I did get in touch with my GP though, she was quite reassuring 🙂 Asked me to get my thyroid checked. So I'm booked in for a blood test next week.

After this anxiety filled past few days, my advice for anyone in this situation would really be to trust the pregnancy stick, if one has no other blatant symptoms of PG. stress is a major cause of period delays; I know it's easier said than done. Hopefully I follow my own advice next month.

I was going to test this morning but came on my period so saved money on a test for next month! Haha although I'm devastated after trying for 6 months and having a missed miscarriage, I'm trying to concentrate on the positives and I had a cheeky vino tonight and a date night out! Xx
