Hi everyone,

Kiki, sorry to hear about your loss. You must feel awful getting that far along. Glad you are getting back on the wagon - like Tee, I think it's prob best thing to do. I'm also on clomid at 100mg, 6 months - messed up one cycle, had one cp, 2 cycles I didn't ovulate, and the other didn't work so now just waiting to see what happens this cycle. Currently 9dpo. Didn't ovulate til cd21, previously ovulated at cd8-10. So it seems to play havoc with my hormones. Do u have pcos? Is that what metformin for?

Soul yay better to see it written on a digi test!! Men eh.. They don't know they need to say a bit more!

Beagles at least you extended your LP! I'm going to Lancashire! Visiting family, leaving in 10 mins.

Catch u ladies tomorrow. (I've packed my thermometer)!!

Kiki18 · 16/12/2016 18:39

Thanks Footy.
It was a shock as we had a 7 week scan and had seen a heartbeat so a little unexpected.
I'm sorry to see things have taken you a while.
Yep I have pcos the metformin is to sensitise my ovaries so that my system will react to the clomid as 50mg and 100mg did nothing for me. Fingers tightly crossed for you!! I dont think I ovulated until about cycle day 18 but just have a feeling it's not our month.

MotherOfBeagles · 16/12/2016 18:56

Ah footy that's where I am! Lol don't forget the thermometer.

Sounds like you've had a right time of it kiki. Keeping my fingers crossed for you Grin

Trying to keep myself awake now for this bloody midnight Star Wars showing. Joy.

Happy Friday everyone Flowers

Footy1 · 17/12/2016 10:48

Ha beagles, I gave you a wave when I drove past, think I saw you singing the Star Wars theme on your way home Wink
Was it good? I've booked tickets for Thurs.

Possibly 10dpo?Star
Temp was 36.80 today! no more spotting.

Kiki I'm finding the clomid is temperamental. One cycle I ovulate fine the next my temps stay around 36.20-36.30 the whole cycle! Are u temping?

Kiki18 · 17/12/2016 11:11

Hi footy, no I'm not temping. I've chosen to just dtd in the fertility window and wait and see for me personally its just too much!
Last time I fell is was a positive on day 31 and very similar ovulation scans so holding out for tomorrow!
How does the temping work does it tell you if you've not ovulated?

Footy1 · 17/12/2016 12:51

Yes it'll show 3 high temps after initial rise in temp. Last cycle though when I didn't ovulate it showed me having constant rises up and down where my body was so desperately trying to release egg. It can also show a drop in progesterone after ovulation so can help determine if you are lacking in progesterone.

Tee4me · 17/12/2016 17:06

Bloody hell Footy I'm sure you're pregnant!! When are you testing? All these high temps, eeekkk!

Well I'm sure those ladies in the other thread were mistaken when they promised me I wouldn't ovulate with a faint line on hpt. Temp has stayed elevated as per my typical pattern and both hpt AND opk are showing negative tonight (if not the faintest faintest squinty line!). I feel adamant I ovulated, but maybe I'm being cocky Confused

Londonjam · 17/12/2016 18:32

Eek fingers crossed footy!!

Londonjam · 17/12/2016 18:34

Thanks for all the info Kiki that's great your medical support has been so good. Are you trying for your first too?

Kiki18 · 17/12/2016 18:35

Hmm I was lucky enough to fall first time I ovulated last time but temping may be worth a try if it takes a few cycles this time as I won't have the reassurance of a scan next cycle!
Fingers crossed for you this time footy! x

Kiki18 · 17/12/2016 18:38

No problem jam it's nice that I can offer my experience to other people as I appreciate how lonely it can feel!
Yes we are trying for our first - if we knew how long it would take us we'd have started trying a lot sooner!

MotherOfBeagles · 17/12/2016 18:54

Hi ladies! footy the film was good a bit better than the last one in my opinion.

kiki I would recommend temping it is really useful but it can also be a bit maddening if you know you get stressed about this stuff.

Spent 5 hours doing the big Christmas food shop today. Getting the fresh veggies this week and really cba. After the Christmas shop in my idiocy I decided to wrap presents. Now my back is killing and I'm tired and grouchy. Ugh. I'm going to go hide in the grouchy cave now.

Footy1 · 17/12/2016 20:17

Been stuffing my face with cheese and biscuits! Having lovely time.
Tbh I'm so scared to test as I feel I'm in a really nice bubble of hope and don't want that bubble to burstXmas Hmm I haven't got any here anyway.
My boobs still hurt..Kiki do yours hurt on clomid ? Mine haven't up to this cycle.

I'm 50/50 not sure either way tee. Think I'm going to sit tight for few more days. I don't feel nauseous or anything..

Nimisha · 17/12/2016 20:41

Hi all, so much to catch up on, I'll have to reply in stages.

Footy I'm really rooting for you. I completely understand the feeling of not wanting to bust the bubble. I've got sore boobs too, not sure where I am in my cycle but Bfn this morning.

Tee that's great, how was the running of dtd? I ovulated early after my mc by a few days. Good luck this cycle.

don't exhaust yourself beagles. Easier said than done though when you have long list of jobs.

Wow parney congratulations, the first square one baby!

Nimisha · 17/12/2016 20:52

Soul that's amazing news, congratulations.

Jam I hope that the fertility clinic can give you the baby you are longing for. Maybe a Christmas conception before you get there?

Kiki I hope you have a sticky BFP. I had a mmc in October at 10 weeks and it was rubbish.

Mimi, waves, are you all ready for Christmas?

Kiki18 · 17/12/2016 21:30

Hi nimisha! Mine was in Oct too - sorry for your loss, it is awful to go through x

Footy - yes massively the week before and the run up to AF, although when I got my BFP sore boobs and cramps were the only symptoms really and I even forgot to test the day af was due because I was away with work my BFP was the evening of day 31 - fingers tightly crossed for you!

I'm day 31 tomorrow so will test in am but feeling very much like AF will make an appearance at any moment.

Tee4me · 17/12/2016 22:39

Kiki hope you are mistaken and get a bfp in the morning.
Hello Nim, are you all recovered from being poorly? Bet it's refreshing to not keep track of CDs etc. Hopefully you were too early when you tested today and are surprised for Christmas.
Yes sit tight Footy! Enjoy that bubble, the longer you wait to test the higher your chances of a bfp.
Beagles hope you get a good nights rest in your cave after a busy day!!

Tee4me · 17/12/2016 22:46

Sorry Nim also meant to say DTD effort wasn't all bad in the end. Managed CD8/12/13/15, think I ovulated CD13 so I'm happy enough with that given that by CD9 it was looking like I wouldn't be getting anymore action in FW! Hoping my body really did release an egg and my body isn't pretending!! Someone asked me before but forgot to reply, I am still going with the low dose aspirin. Any of the other MC sufferers trying this??

MotherOfBeagles · 17/12/2016 23:12

Jealous of the cheese footy trying to be good and not break into the Christmas supplies! When are you home? Don't blame you for not wanting to burst the bubble. But I really hope it is a bfp for you!

Fingers crossed nim! You're right the list is endless. I don't even have any kids yet and it's hard work lol. Made worse with the fact it's my dhs 30th Birthday 7th Jan so trying to organise that too!

kiki your on your first cycle since your mc aren't you? I hope the witch doesn't get you but try and keep your chin up if she does. That first cycle after the mc is horrible. But still she might not! Fingers crossed.

tee glad you managed to get plenty of dtd in. Hopefully it's been productive Wink lol. I've heard of the aspirin thing but not really researched it.

My af is a bit odd this month. Extremely overboard heavy red red yesterday and today very brown and very much old dirty type blood. V weird. Trying to figure out logistics of dtd and Christmas lol. I think we are staying at my mums in the squeakiest bed known to man... I've got my EPO on the go, preseed arrived today and stocking up on avocados. As I'm veggie apparently I don't get enough of the fats which make healthy strong cm and a fertile environment. Plus I love avocados so no complaints here! Besides grouchy and back ache lol.

Morning all
Having trouble sleeping with this damn cough. If ttc doesn't kill me, this cold surely will lol..

beagles hope you slept well and managed to rest your back. My birthday is on the 6th of January and how l wish someone would be planning something for meXmas Wink

You did a good job there tee now is the waiting game again. Fx for you. If you get that bfp, l would suggest you continue with that low dose aspirin.l took mine as per doctors order until l gave birth to dd.lf I am not mistaken, you stopped yours when you got your bfp. (Just look into it )

kiki ,got everything crossed for you dear. Hope the witch stays far away from you. Watching out for your bfp.

Hie nim got my little dd 3rd birthday tomorrow so on top of the Christmas shopping for a full house, l have to plan on her birthday andI am feeling so poorly. It surely will take some super woman's power's to get everything done. I'm not complaining , I love Christmas Xmas Smile.hope you get a 6sneaky bfp too.

Mimilicious013 · 18/12/2016 05:13

foot you definitely are in the festive mood. Cheese and biscuits, yummy. I can only start baking Christmas eve otherwise I will finish all the goodies before. I get the bubble of hope Xmas Wink.Fx for you.

Hie there jam , hope you are ok dear. Are you in the tww yet. Really hope Santa will give us all our bfps. When are you testing? I'm expecting af xmas eve but really wish it won't show

Kiki18 · 18/12/2016 07:44

Morning everyone!
Lucky enough to be going on holiday today for Christmas but will try and keep up to date with everyone's progress.
Beagles - yes first clomid cycle since the mmc am expecting it to be unpleasant finding it a little tough emotionally aswell, can't help but think I should have a 22 week bump by now.

Thanks for all the crossed fingers - it was a bfn this morning but no AF yet so guess we are still in the game..

Tee - no tired any aspirin what is this for out of interest?

Footy - hope you are eating lots of blue and soft cheese got a feeling you won't be able to for much longer! x

DuRezidal · 18/12/2016 08:25

Hi everyone, only just found this forum so pretty new to it all...

Age 33
Cycle 2
TTC No. 2
Currently CD12

Footy1 · 18/12/2016 08:29

Hope you enjoy your holiday Kiki and hope that AF stays away. It would be great if u got a BFP! I did over indulge in the cheese last night! Opened a cheese bomb which was v v hot & spicy! Had bad indigestion last night afterwards. Lol did have a cheeky baileys also.

Beagles,I'm back down south (home) on Monday and then back up north near Preston visiting dh's family on 27th Dec for a week. My back been hurting more than usual - I'm sure it's the extra shopping and wrapping.

Mimi yes wishing Santa has all these BFPs in his sack. We have been good girls all year?! Bet you are busy Christmas shopping for your dc's! Hope your dd enjoys her birthday! Such a lovely age too. Hope your cough exits just in time for your BFP.

Tee I think you well covered yourself. Very impressed. Fingers crossed, maybe ask the doctor about baby asprin? Get another opinion. I read on clomid thread of someone who self prescribed progesterone tabs as their results were on low side but GP said should b ok. After a mc she decided to go her own way which led her to BFP and so then she suddenly stopped taking them at 8 weeks only to then MC. When she told hosp what she did they said she shouldn't have suddenly stopped as the fall in prog was drastic. I'm sure it's the not the same case with u and asprin but worth asking and checking out if u should continue?

Nim- did u have any symptoms before on your prev BFP? Hope u just tested too early.

Jam hope you are dancing round your tree with your negligee on you must be coming up to fw?

Soul hope you are well and feeling ok.

Hello everyone else if I've forgotten anyone Xmas Smile
