Thank you mother and jam I am much much better now hence why we have started Ttc again Smile

Footy1 · 26/02/2017 13:43

Ahh jodders so cute! Lovely little boy. Xx

Mama good luck on your journey. Can't help you I'm afraid on the meds.
I have a 7 & 9 yr old so big gap too. One last plea of a baby before I'm too old and wrinkly.

Beagles, you will fall in love with motherhood as your pregnancy progresses and especially when you hold you little one.
It's tough in the early days when u feel tired and rubbish but u will be fine and be hanging out in the baby aisles of the stores.

Jam so wish I had your cycles. Started to wonder if it will ever happen. Feel like I've got too much against me Hmm
Hope the appt goes well. How did the house go?

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 26/02/2017 13:56

Thank you footy it's lovely to be back on mumsnet and looking forward to seeing everyone gettinh their bfp! I am 1dpo Grin I'm testing on the 9th March and we only started trying yesterday and today which was the last day of the fertile window. But you never know. I carried on tracking my periods these last few months and had no pill or implant (just condoms) so hopefully my body is back in a cement rhythm. Xx

Londonjam · 26/02/2017 18:04

Footy I'm lucky to have regular cycles but it's got me nowhere sadly. I'm on cycle 15 now and never ever seen a BFP. We've started a few conversations recently about what we would do if we never have children. All I've ever wanted is to be a mum 😞

The flat is going fine, think we should be exchanging this week.

Hope you're alright xx

Kiki18 · 26/02/2017 18:30

Hi all,

Congratulations Jodders what a beautiful baby! xx

Jam - I don't know if it's any help as it was me that was our issue, however when we went to our first appointment she checked all my test results and dh and asked us health questions such as smokers, alcohol units etc checked whether I had a rubella immunization (in my area they like you to have this before assisting with conceiving) then because my GP had been amazing and done all the possible tests I could have we made a plan and got a prescription for the fertility meds so it was pretty productive. We had been trying for 14 months when we got to see her.

Tee - again I'm not sure if different areas do different things but my dh had magazines in a little room and had to hand the pot to one of the staff when he was finished but it was all very discreet. The other things is where he went it was obvious in the clinic that all the guys were there for the same thing so there was a mutual 'brotherhood' apparently!!

Welcome mama!

Hope all are well. Am at 9.5 weeks and feeling very sick and tired particularly evenings but glad of symptoms as I find them reassuring!

Londonjam · 26/02/2017 19:13

Really helpful thank you kiki, glad all going well with you.

mimilicious I thibj I may remember you from last summer when I was trying. My old username was babydances I think. I hope this month is your month. It can be so disheartening but hang on in there xxx

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 27/02/2017 09:11

What cycle are you on now? Are there any other ladies from last summer on here? I saw writer got her bfp. Great to be test buddies mimi. How long are your cycles? Mine average 27 days. I've kept up recording my afternoon on Ovia despite not trying.

Mimilicious013 · 27/02/2017 09:20

I'm on cycle 22Sad but gotta keep hoping. My cycles are 24 days so at least they are on the shorter side . wow congrats to writer . quite a bit of the ladies did get their bfps.

MotherOfBeagles · 27/02/2017 10:07

I hope so footy! I was up three times in the night last night to pee. Never mind the hours tossing and turning. Where are it up to this month now? It's horrible when you start to feel like that and I know it's so hard to try and think positive but keep your head up Flowers

mama sounds like you prepared really well! I couldn't wait once my implant came out. Started trying straight away!

jam ooh I like it when things to start to get exciting with house buying. You planning to redecorate or is move-in-able? Hope things go well at the appt this week!

kiki sounds like you're ticking along nicely! When's your due date? Had your scan dates through yet?

Thanks mimi! You managing to stay calm in the tww or stressing? I really hope this is the month for you. When's you af/test date due?

Two weeks today until my early scan. Had bits of nausea/acid reflux but nothing massive. Just giant painful boobs, wouldn't be so bad if they were small to begin with!

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 27/02/2017 11:04

How long did it take before you fell pregnant after having your implant out? Since having it out my cycles have been pretty regular. Between 27 and 30 days. Could make working out the ov day a little tricky however.

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 27/02/2017 11:05

mimi have you been to the gp? That's such a long time. Keep going xxx Is it your first?

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 27/02/2017 11:05

MotherOfBeagles · 27/02/2017 13:40

mama I started temping straight away. I'd had two implants and no periods for 5 years since I was 20 so I had no clue what my cycles were. Especially as I originally got the implant because my periods were all over the place and absolutely agony. I got pregnant the first month but had a cp at 5/6 weeks then was really ill with recurring chest infections for 5/6 months and then on cycle 8 got my bfp and just at 5 weeks with that at the minute. All fingers and toes crossed! Trying to stay positive and not worry.

Footy1 · 27/02/2017 14:14

Keep your legs crossed too beagles! Smile** might stop you wanting to pee so much Grin
I've got a good feeling about this one! You'll be fine. Are u still taking the Folic acid?
Can't remember when u can stop?

Kate are u back at work? All ok? Bet your old job feels like a distant memory now.
I need a bit of sunshine ☀️ it's soooo gloomy here today.

Mimi my friend tried for 2 years and then fell pregnant. Her husband jokes that it was the best 2 years of his life! Lol. He never got so much dtd! Now he begs her for it! So when u get your bfp your Dh will think the same Wink
*
Kiki* u must be a pro at the morning sickness after metformin. I'm still feeling incredibly sick!!

Tee, did Dh deliver SA? Can't remember when he was doing it. Think you'll be fine though. Hey and listen, he probably not looking at the porn- he prob thinking of u hon Wink

Welcome mama. I was prescribed sertraline a couple months ago because I wasn't coping well at my old job and with ttc. I took it for two days then stopped and quit my job instead.

Started my new job today and I've lost my voice! I blame the cold last week! It was a great day, but I'm totally knackered. Ov day today too!! Dh had performance anxiety last nightSad

MotherOfBeagles · 27/02/2017 19:42
