The witch got me. Clumsy and forgetful and bad mood this morning. Really am totally gutted to be honest. Trying to distract myself by planning - I've got some epo to take with my tea tonight, ordering some preseed on Amazon now and as I'm due to ovulate between Xmas and new year and both me and dh are off he doesn't have a choice as soon as AF is gone every other day minimum! I'll walk around in negligee if I have to! Blush lol

That sounds like good timing tee not sure if can ovulate or not but may as well go for it if you feel up to it!

footy that's sounding really promising. Really hope you get your Christmas bfp! Also interesting about the tactics I have a tilted cervix and hadn't thought of that. But my dh only orgasms when I'm on top. Confused

Nothing wrong with a cry jam just don't be down too long. It's a good thing as will be able to get advice and useful tips hopefully!

Well done there tee ,at least you didn't waste the opportunity dear. Hope the other ladies are wrong and you get another bfp in the next two weeks. What are is your plan of action after you get that bfp? Fx for good news.

Sorry you are feeling poorly kate.l too have a cold and can't seem to shake it off. It is such a nightmare especially at night. Hope you get well soon.

Cd16Star 5/6dpo.l can't symptom spot because all I have is the headache and lack of appetite coz of the flu . Loving the Christmas mood though

Mimilicious013 · 16/12/2016 07:57

Sorry af got you beagles Flowers, what a bummer. Like that you already have the next cycle planned. Best of luck hun and lucky oh ,he is in for a treat.

radderss · 16/12/2016 08:22

Congratulations Parney! Great news xxxx

Tee4me · 16/12/2016 08:24

Ah Mim! At least if you're poorly now you should be fighting fit for Christmas?! Also, getting ill in the 2ww is a good sign, as they say your immune system lowers to accept the fertilised egg. FX! You have been waiting the longest I think!
When (if) I get my next bfp, I'll be straight onto EPU to book in for an 8 week scan (they have already said I'll be entitled to that). Will make sure I'm eating as nutritiously as possible (already started that) and just generally avoiding stress... And praying!!
Will make sure uterus is nice as warm in 2ww, lots of hot meals and bed socks on!! It would be a Christmas miracle if a bean settled in, so must just expect AF to arrive in 2 weeks and prepare to start a fresh cycle with MC well behind me. Will keep up temping, today could have just been a coincidental anomaly!!

Tee4me · 16/12/2016 08:28

So sorry Beagles FlowersFlowersFlowersCakeCakeCake
Hope you don't feel too down. On a positive note it's great timing; your chin will be up again and AF over in time for Christmas, and amazing to have FW fall on that week in between! Plenty of opportunity for DTD morning, noon and night!!

Footy1 · 16/12/2016 09:06

Sorry beagles SadFlowershow many dpo were you yesterday? What was your LP ?
Yes agree f/w falling in the middle can b great timing. You will b relaxed and merry dancing in your negligee! Xmas Winklucky DH!!
Maybe roll to the side just before he finishes so gravity isn't against you?

Mimi, do u think u might test before Christmas Day? Sorry you are feeling poorly. Get those bed socks on Xmas Wink

Tee yes keep up the temping, I can't see why ovulation wouldn't happen? Unless it gears up but then fall again. No harm keep the dtd up maybe tomorrow just incase temp drops again to try again? just incase it's a bit delayed? Your body knows what to do now.. So fingers crossed X

Kiki18 · 16/12/2016 09:28

Hi ladies do you mind if I join? Motherofbeagles did recommend you all as a lovely group!

My situation is:-
Age 33
Cycle - 1 after MMC at 12 weeks
TTC #1
DPO - who knows after taking metformin and clomid and confusing scan + day 21 bloods! Negative test today on cycle day 29 though

SellMySoulForSomeSleep · 16/12/2016 09:39

Morning.
Sorry to hear about AF beagles that's shit.

Welcome kiki
I've tested this morning and have no line. I'm off doing shopping today so I'll get a digital one.

Kiki18 · 16/12/2016 09:42

Thank you sellmysoulforsomesleep.
Good luck for the digital one!
I did both a cheapie and a digital one this morning am a bit test obsessed! But my scan and day 22 bloods seem to indicate late ovulation so may be a little early.
Fingers crossed for you!

Mimilicious013 · 16/12/2016 10:05

Welcome kiki and good luck.
Let us know what they test says soul rooting for you.
Oh foot I'm in the blanket with socks on and a coffee and cake right next to me Xmas Wink
tee l really really really really really hope this is it. Nice to know the flu could be a good sign. Praying for your sticky bean too hun.

MotherOfBeagles · 16/12/2016 10:16

Lol mimi I'm not sure he'll see it like that. Christmas is time for too much food and sofa surfing in my house. Dtd may seem like far too much work! Sorry the flu is throwing you off so much, enjoy the Christmas spirit though! I feel like a right Scrooge today.

Definitely keep the temping up tee at least then you can see your patterns etc. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you. It's good that your body can get itself back into rhythm quickly!

I was 12dpo footy normally 8-10 so it was just enough for a glimmer of hope grr. I might have to try that roll but he'll be very confused lol. How's the indigestion now?

Hey kiki glad you found us! You got back on it quick that's good Wink. How you feeling? Managing to stay calm?

Fingers crossed soul!! Keep us updated.

Motherofbeagles thank you for pointing me in the right direction! Sorry to hear its not your month this month x
I'm not going to lie ive been like a mad woman possessed with testing this week and have now convinced myself that it's not our month this month so preoccupying myself with packing and cleaning - we are away for Christmas.
On the plus side for this who have found this month isn't theirs wouldn't it be lovely to have a Christmas conception?!

Londonjam · 16/12/2016 11:27

Sorry AF got you beagles. My next egg is due Christmas Eve so I will also be waltzing around in my undies. I'm also the same as you position wise - DH needs me on top really. I do lie down afterwards with my hips tilted up though.

Thanks for the reassurance girls. It is good news the doctor isn't concerned but I'm just sad we've been trying over a year now. We don't have any kids so I just can't ever imagine it happening, and never thought it would be this hard. It's a lot to take in and get used to.

Tee I hope that was your egg! Very good DTD timing if so. Fx for you

Feel better mimi

Welcome kiki

SellMySoulForSomeSleep · 16/12/2016 12:57

Kiki18 · 16/12/2016 12:59

Thanks for the welcome Londonjam and keep your chin up - I know it's easier said then done but I know how you feel just don't give up!
I have to take metformin and clomid to help me ovulate and we are at 2 years next month - at 18 months we fell but it sadly didn't work out this time, but it proves that it does happen and your time will come xx

Footy1 · 16/12/2016 13:47

I'm rushing around today as I'm driving up north tonight but just a quickie to say hi kiki, welcome and yay someone else on clomid to keep me company. Catch up in a bit X

No more spotting, no cramps, slight indigestion.. That's about it ladies.

Kiki18 · 16/12/2016 14:16

Hi footy! Always good to have someone in the same boat happy to chat!!

Tee4me · 16/12/2016 14:33

Hi Kiki!
Welcome, wow you've been trying for 2 years! Reassuring that you have fallen, but I can totally relate to how devastated you must have been when it didn't work out. I've been going through a MMC last few weeks after trying for a year (and early miscarriage in March) Sounds like you have a good positive outlook, hope Clomid does it's job for you! Did it help you fall with that last pregnancy?? xx

MotherOfBeagles · 16/12/2016 15:11

Ah kiki try not lose heart! Although definitely keep distracting yourself.

Haha jam I always intend to do that but then feel like an idiot lol. Might have to start doing it. Also your are definitely right it's a hell of a lot to deal with! They don't teach you this in catholic school, oh no if you even so much think men exist? BOOM! Pregnant! Grin

Ah soul I'm really happy for you! Congratulations. What did your dh say?

Ooh hi footy! You coming up my way? Off anywhere exciting?

I've got really bad cramps and I'm wondering if I had a lot more progesterone this month than normal as my symptoms have been full on since ovulation? Confused

OP posts:
SellMySoulForSomeSleep · 16/12/2016 15:38

He is a man of few words my dh. He just said it's great news when I rang him. We will talk tonight.

MotherOfBeagles · 16/12/2016 15:48

Aaah soul lol sounds like my dh. When I got my bfp before my mc I showed him the test and went blank for a minute then went "well done" and patted me on the shoulder lol. Don't think he knew how to process it.

OP posts:
Kiki18 · 16/12/2016 15:50

Congratulations soul!! xx

Hi tee4me so sorry for your loss its such an awful experience x
I have my ups and downs as I'm sure everyone else does but I now know I can fall pregnant so I have faith that it'll happen again it's just the when that I find hard - too impatient!
Yes the last pregnancy was clomid - we had to try independently for 9 months but I only had 2 periods the entire time and it took a few months to get the levels right after waiting for all the tests to be done but the first time I ovulated (resulting from 150mg clomid)we fell pregnant which was amazing! Down side though is I'm expecting the same to happen this month as my fertility doctor did a scan on day 14 and I had a follicle at 15.5 and one at 12.5 so she was pretty sure I'd ovulate - day 29 negative test so I'm not convinced it's our month as lack of symptoms too.

Londonjam · 16/12/2016 16:36

Thanks Kiki so sorry you went through a MC especially when you had been trying so long. I hope it's not much longer for you. Is your fertility doctor referred via NHS or a private clinic, out of interest? I've just been referred via NHS and not sure what to expect.

GP has never mentioned clomid or any other treatment to me at all. Wonder if this will come up at the fertility hospital?

Beagles I felt like an idiot a few months ago but now I'm shameless. If it helps the swimmers swim up then I'm doing it Xmas Smile

Happy Friday everyone Wine

Kiki18 · 16/12/2016 16:53

Thanks jam.

Its all NHS I have to say they've been fab. My gp referred me after 9 months ttc now I have a fertility doctor who i can email at any time at my local hospital and she sends letters to my gp to prescribe the meds so everyone is in the picture.
If it's any help it was kinda obvious that it was me as I'd not had periods, however I had an internal scan to check my reproductive system and blood tests to check for testosterone (PCOS) and progesterone and my dh had to have a sperm test before they tried any treatment. We then had a joint consultation to discuss what treatment would be best. I don't like that I have to have help but that part of it has been made really easy by them. I was referred in November 15 first saw the fertility dr in March and was on clomid by may, ovulating by july
