Wish I had some Gin

Londonjam · 18/02/2017 10:17

DH got back from work at 5am and refused to DTD "too tired" Any tips for how to wake him up?!

MotherOfBeagles · 18/02/2017 18:47

Let him snooze for an hour and wiggle wiggle in his direction? Lol how did you get on jam?

Haha love that song tee!

How's everyone getting on?

I'm pooped. Walked 9 miles round London today. Having an hour in bed then going to the savoy for dinner (ooooh) lol. Really struggling with caffeine. I love my coffee and obviously knackered and walked a lot I'm really really struggling. Nearly grabbed a coffee out of some poor woman's hand earlier it smelt so good. Never mind chocolate! I was also really nauseous this morning. Starving then took half hour to get to diner place and by then every other bite was nearly the last and barely managed any of it! Can't be right can it? I had my early miscarriage at 6/7 weeks and didn't have any nausea then.

Londonjam · 18/02/2017 19:02

I put my nicest bra on and got into bed. It did the trick 😉

You sound very pregnant beagles! Hope you enjoy the Savoy!

We've been to the local pub near to the flat we're buying and had a walk around what will hopefully our new local park. Both lovely! Really hope we can exchange and complete smoothly...

MotherOfBeagles · 18/02/2017 19:14

Ah that sounds lovely london have they given you a timetable?

It was weird! I'm not a morning person anyway but ugh it was horrible and I'm guessing it was just the tip of what morning sickness and nausea can do. I've never heard of it starting this early though Confused

Kiki18 · 18/02/2017 19:14

Hope your dh was compliant jam! And good luck with the flat sounds lovely!

Footy hope you are feeling better x

Beagles - the first time round for me I started feeling nauseous almost straight away (we found out at 4.5 weeks) and soon after went off chicken and sugar (ice cream and chocolate specifically) up until the miscarriage at 12 weeks, this time struggled to eat for the first couple of weeks just didn't feel like it and loss of appetite after a couple of bites (again found out about 4 weeks) and it's only been the last couple of weeks I've felt really sick except when I eat so good appetite and no food Aversions yet but love orange juice and toast - I guess each pregnancy is different and different things will happen at different times x

Kiki18 · 18/02/2017 19:16

Bearing in mind I'm about 8.5 weeks I guess nausea started at about 6 for me

Mimilicious013 · 19/02/2017 07:13

Footy1 · 19/02/2017 07:44

Morning all, I'm too waking up to feeling nauseous just wish it was a pregnancy nauseous and not tablets! Seriously Kiki I don't know how u took these tablets because they really don't agree with me. I didn't eat much last night just a sandwich and I still feel sick. Brings me right back to morning sickness back in the day! Only thing I'm dreading about pregnancy. Have you told all of your family yet?

Beagles yes all good to get those symptoms now, everyone's different. My friend had sickness from word go. The key is to find something u can snack on or sip that makes u feel better. I found sipping on Diet Coke or ginger ale helped as constantly felt like I needed to burp to relieve the nausea.

Tee when are u testing? Any nose bleeds?

Nim really hope you are ok, thinking of you xx

Jodders you must have had baby by now, hope all went well xx

Jam you must have some lovely sexy bras!! Haha.. maybe I need to go shopping. Not feeling v attractive at the mo feeling queasy all the time. Just pj's and bedsocks for me lol

Kate how are you? Are you doing anything different this cycle? Hope your stress has lifted now you are in a new job. Do use use mooncups? I'm trying them out this time.

Footy1 · 19/02/2017 07:52

Mimi hello, hope you are well too. Any new tricks for you this cycle?
I'm ok, boys are well. They are doing really well at school. Proud mum Smile
Im still working through things with Dh and have a weekend planned away in march. It's just so up and down, driving me crazy!!

Earth, sorry I missed your post the other day only just seen it. Glad things all ok, hope it's a smooth run to the finish line. It's so worrying all these things.. never can relax. Hope you get to enjoy your pregnancy. Any sickness for you yet?

Tee4me · 19/02/2017 09:40

CD1 Cycle 14(?!) 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
Hi Mimi, lovely to hear from you but sorry you're still on this journey, it's been such a long while for you, but hope your other DCs are a good distraction x

Mimilicious013 · 19/02/2017 10:14

Oh sorry teeFlowers.af is so disheartening. Upwards and onwards my friend. Though it gets tougher and tougher.
Dcs are a distraction but let am beginning to think my ovaries are fast asleep kkk

Hie foot , glad you will be going away to get some alone time Wink.best you start investing in some exciting lingerie. Worked for jam and it's surely made me think about buying some new stuff too.

Tee4me · 19/02/2017 11:33

It's so shit. I just feel baffled about it in all honesty. It's worse when you know you did everything you could and it still doesn't happen. I wish we could look inside our bodies to see what is or isn't happening! I really want to go back to Docs to pursue this referral, but thinking I'll get turned away because we did conceive twice in the 14 months (despite the losses)?!

Londonjam · 19/02/2017 11:41

Hugs tee I'm so sorry. These few days are the worst bit then I promise you start feeling better and will have another chance to try again just around the corner. Look after yourself 🌷💛

Oh no so sorry teeFlowersi just don't understand it either. It's like baking a cake, we all put the right ingredients in at the right time but every outcome is different. We rise and fall month after month.
You can only keep trying. I'm trying the cups this time..

Earth fingers crossed it's only just a bit of spotting and nothing more. Brown is better than red. So hang on in there. Remember that depends where your cervix is is takes time to come down. So probably a few days old.

Beagles, how u today? Forgot to say the two week wait is a website full of bfp symptoms/diaries. Quite interesting to read. www.twoweekwait.com. Personal q, but were u on top? I'm wondering if i need to try different positions around ovulation. Spice it up a bit so he's firing bullets at all angles! Lol

Mimi you must be so tired of ttc. But nothing to lose to keep going. Im certain it's my cervix that's the issue as it's far left and tilted so think it's difficult to reach!
Have u had bloods done.

MotherOfBeagles · 19/02/2017 15:13

Thanks for the info kiki definitely helps to hear others experiences! How you feeling now?

Thanks mimi! Sorry to hear things are still struggling. You're a very strong woman though to keep you're head up and keep going! I hate all the cliches but the number of people who rule it out then it happens. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Ah footy sorry the tablets are making you ill, is it that you need a full stomach and struggling with that or are they just evil little suckers? Weekend away sounds good, anywhere exciting? Things will be up and down it's just hopefully more up than down! Oh and to answer your question I was on top because it's the only way dh can finish, but i sort of prepped a towel and cushions in reaching distance so after a few misses and giggles id perfected rolling off grabbing towel and shoving my butt in the air with the aid of a stack of cushions. Then swiftly putting the cup in. Made lots of jokes about years practicing rolling in horse saddles but hey ho lol. Tried a variation on sequence but that seemed to work best. Just tried to make it a laugh rather than a desperate attempt to get the blighters up there lol. Probably tmi sorry! Also how had I not found that website before now?! Must have searched tww symptoms a couple of thousand times.

tee I'm so sorry AF got you. It really sucks. If you want to go back to the docs why not give it a few days and if still feel the same then do it. At least it's your peace of mind that you've done everything you can think of? Sometimes I know I get things in my head to do and even though I know they're pointless I won't feel happy until I've done it!

earth make sure you keep them feet up and look after yourself! As my dh keeps saying positive thinking! I really hope it's a sticky one! My colleague had serious bleeding for months and they were convinced it wouldn't survive. She just went on mat leave and due her little boy any day now. So it's not always bad! Got a lot on your plate coming up so make sure that you get pampered lol Wink

Headed home today and I'm absolutely pooped. Looking forward to my bed. No nausea today but not got any appetite. Boobs aren't as sore either. I don't think I've ever been so in tune with my body! On paranoid knicker and tissue watch. It's so early the pregnancy apps are only just telling my about implantation! Scaring me a bit.

OP posts:
Thissameearth · 19/02/2017 17:12

footy thank you so much I find that very comforting Bear

mother I have stopped reading anything on growth and progress etc. I read the NHS app on what you should and shouldn't eat and thereafter closed my eyes. For me info is ammunition for the brain to use against me!

Footy1 · 19/02/2017 18:02

Agree the whole web searching is addictive and can make you more anxious (she says who's always googling stuff)! Hang on to your joy when your stick got big fat positive two linesGrinSmile

Tee4me · 19/02/2017 18:06

Thanks girls. I agree these first few days of AF are always the crappest, things pick up when you start focusing on the next FW and any new tricks.
On the plus side I did get to road test the mooncup! I'm impressed actually! Went in perfectly the first time, the next attempt was pretty uncomfortable so clearly it's all about position and finding the right angle etc. Just had a bath and think I've hit the spot again. Will try this after DTD too. DH already talking about FW, so that's good. Definitely going to hold out for longer after AF (we usually start DTD so early on) and try and keep going mid-late part of my cycle. We always peak early and stop at ovulation because we've both (more him) had enough by then.
I've also found a fertility clinic near his work and I'm really hoping he'll agree to get an SA before FW so I'm armed with everything for the Doc if we don't have any joy in March. If they turn us down I'm considering private, although it looks pricey. Considering whether to invest in more 'conceive plus' too 🤔
Earth really hope things settle down so you can really relax.
Beagles I know the feeling, but I'm sure things are progressing beautifully. Just give your body the rest it needs and don't take on any unnecessary stress!
Footy where are you in your cycle again? Sorry the new pills are making you feel rubbish, but personally I would take it as a good sign, like they're causing a powerful reaction which could be the trigger for your bfp!
Jam do you know if you ovulated yet? Glad the sexy bra worked! x

Kiki18 · 19/02/2017 21:06

So I've been bleeding. About 2 teaspoons of bright red blood earlier today after a small uncomfortable but not painful bout of cramping. Spoke to the epu who said wait and see if it gets worse - if so or start to get pain and continual bleeding to call back or heavy bleeding go to a+e.
Nothing for 5 hours now except brown spotting. Not going to lie am shitting myself that it's another missed miscarriage or the start of a miscarriage - scan on weds can not come quick enough.
Hope everyone else is well sorry for shitty post but bit emotional xx

MotherOfBeagles · 19/02/2017 21:25

Oh kiki. That's horrible I'm so sorry! Sending lots of positive thoughts your way! I hope everything is ok. It's not always bad news if the bleeding and pain have subsided. Try and keep that in mind. But it's still crappy I know trying to keep your head straight. Flowers no need to apologise that's what we're here for!

OP posts:
Tee4me · 19/02/2017 21:35

Kiki bless you!! Sorry you are going through this. Really glad it's calmed down though, as Beagles said, that's a good sign. Doesn't stop you feeling anxious though I'm sure. Sending positive vibes and good thoughts your way, really hope you're ok and DH is being supportive xx

Thissameearth · 19/02/2017 21:41

Oh Kiki that's shit. Completely agree with others on the brown blood business (and I'm currently on brown spotting watch wanting it to go away). Crossing my fingers for you. You're 8.5 weeks? Bear

Londonjam · 19/02/2017 21:42

Keeping everything crossed for you Kiki hon - it could easily be just a scare. Stay positive , stay away from google if you can Flowers
