So I am at my wits end with my body! Seriously, it's getting chucked in the bin. Not sure whether to make a GP appointment or not as you know what they're like with women's health...

So AF ended 5 days ago and I am still spotting brown blood, only when I wee. A day or two? Fine, but 5 days!!!??? AF was fine. Lasted two days, as per usual, but I've now been googling like an absolute mad woman! Estrogen too high? Progesterone too high?

To make an appointment or not? Any ideas?

Make an appointment kate much better to go and ask you never know. Is there a good go you can try and see?

Sorry Kate, I think if you are having odd bleeding then a trip to the GP might be worth it, I have heard of people having things like a polyp causing odd bleeding patterns.

Jem i think eod is a really good idea, especially through the TWW. Both times I have conceived it has been when there was loads of dtd in the second half of the cycle.

Not feeling so queezy today, but having some cramps and sore boobs. Roll on Friday. I'm planning to buy a nice bottle of wine and have a takeaway and a night on the sofa on Friday night.

Kate, probably good idea to get checked by gp. It might start an investigation which may be helpful. Could it be related to your thyroid issue?

No cramps but I keep having funny fullness feelings but nothing unusual. My temps are high compared to previous cycles but only +0.1 above the coverline so nothing special. Just waiting now! How you doing today?

He got steak for dinner, and heart chocolate brownies that I made with the kids.
I'm ok, felt bit nauseous all morning from the metformin!! Little appetite.
I'm on day cd4 I think! so not much happening x

Nothing happening here other than ongoing cramps. So weird 🤔 Not due in until next Sun/Mon. If it's a bfn again this month and the same cramping happens next month, I'll go back to my doc to pursue that referral I started last year. It doesn't seem right to me.

Tee, did you get cramps last cycle just before you were due?

Yes I always get cramps before AF. Can't remember for sure if this far in advance usually, but I don't think it's a first. if the cramps calm down over the next few days, I might start feeling hopeful that it was related to implantation, but at the moment I just feel like I cramp throughout LP and that might indicate a problem? Or I'm over analysing and being ultra sensitive to discomfort in that region!! x

PS. I bought a mooncup this week, so I have something to try if AF does show. Will also use it after DTD to see if that helps. Looks like it will definitely take practice to get in! How did you ladies learn, trial and error?! Also bought DH some conception supplements which he has agreed he will try. We were both on them when we fell with DS so maybe they helped x

tee it does take a bit of practice. But if the folds in the book that comes don't help there are loads on the tinterweb. It's also handy to know where your cervix sits. Mine sits slightly directional and if I don't put it in right it misses it and makes it uncomfortable. But you can feel when it's set properly - it's not uncomfortable but feels solid in there. I hope these are good signs and go mr-tee taking vitamins. My dh has a collection on his table he refuses to take.

Well my lp is usually 10 days max. That takes me to Friday. We're going to London fri-sun so if no period or temp drop I'll no doubt test Friday before we go and again sat! Temp went high again today though so shall see. When you testing? Going to hold out until Monday?

Eeekkk not long to wait! My LP is rarely less than 15 days. I actually don't have any tests. I hate bfns so will always wait it out. IF I'm late and have a good feeling DH will go out to buy a CB test, so I quite like doing it that way. Monday will be the earliest if I'm not getting any other signs, otherwise possibly Sunday if other things are going on. Not seeing anything promising yet though. 10dpo today, so the next few days I'll be looking out for hot skin etc...

Tee, try putting it in and taking it out in the shower, that helped. Mind sometimes needs a bit of adjusting to get in the right place, and wear a panty liner the first few times because I could get a bit of leakage when I emptied (not much though). I love mine and wouldn't go back, I panicked when I though I'd forgotten it on holiday.

Glad you were happy about the flowers footy, hope the metformin starts to agree with you.

Had a wobble and a bit of a cry today. I got my appointment for my 12 week scan. Devastated I'll have to cancel it. I can't get my hopes up as it will just make Friday so much harder.

Sorry nim i really am a dunce, i know you went for an early scan and your booking appointment but they thought you were too early. What's on friday? Really don't want to poke a sore spot so thought i'd best check - I am a master of putting my foot in it - like i am now. I'm going to shut up now.

I use soft cups for TTC and AF and I love them! If you bear down you can hook your finger under the rim.
