Interesting Footy, thanks! I've read about ewcm in LP before, and I think it can be related to rising estrogen, which is why you can get it during AF too. It's a bloody minefield eh?!
Has AF set in for you today as you expected?? x

Footy1 · 10/02/2017 12:48

Yes cd1Star
The months I didn't ovulate I didn't have AF, so I'm thinking that things are trying to get back to normal now. Only taken a year!Confused

Having month off clomid this cycle, so I'm not desperately trying to bed "h" to not waste the pills. Things not great last few days- he has man flu and is irritating me so badly. Got a busy month ahead with things so I'm also taking the ultimate laid back approach. Ditching the thermometer too, see if it helps my mood with hubby. Fed up that's it's always me to make effort.

Sure things will improve but right now I'm happy with AF, my time to have some space.
Got a fun weekend planned with just me and the kids. Taking them to see lego batman, bit of shopping, tgi fridays & to my friends house tomorrow for dinner. He can just.. well erm.. wipe his snotty nose on his sock, and introduce himself to the kitchen. Wink

Londonjam · 10/02/2017 18:25

Enjoy your weekend with the kids footy. That's good news on a more normal cycle and hope that gives you reassurance. Lego batman is meant to be good!

Have a good weekend everyone Wine

Nimisha · 10/02/2017 20:47

Glad your cycle seems to be getting back to normal Footy.

I have had a completely unproductive day to day as feeling sick on and off all day. Really bloated. I have let work know I might be off for a bit after Friday but not why. It's going to be a long week if I feel like that every day.

Tee4me · 11/02/2017 08:26

Ah Nim sorry you feel like that; let's hope it's all down to a beautifully progressing pregnancy.
Footy glad you've got a fun weekend lined up! Did you watch the drama series 'Unforgotten'?? Highly recommend you download and binge watch if you didn't catch it! Broadchurch returning for a third series soon too, can't wait! x

Nimisha · 11/02/2017 15:37

Thanks tee, I'm veering between positive visualization of being told everything is fine, and rehearsing what to say if it's not.

I have more nausea this time than any of my previous pregnancies. Only 6 days to go. My mum is having the kids Thursday night so DH and I are going out for dinner to keep my mind off things.

Footy1 · 11/02/2017 18:59

No not seen those series tee, I shall look into watching them. Nice distraction.
Cinema was great jam, and my youngest used a Christmas voucher for "build a bear". It was so cute!! You get to stuff it, put in heartbeat, choose outfits and get a birth certificate etc.. almost wanted one myself. If only we could make our own babies like that Hmm

Oh nim, it does sound positive that u are getting stronger symptoms. So so hoping u get good news. Few more days.. hang in there. Enjoy your dinner x

MotherOfBeagles · 12/02/2017 11:31

tee I've had those pains since my periods started some cycles they are horrific. Also is broadchurch any good? It's been on my to watch list for ages and never gotten to it.

footy sorry to hear hubby had been crappy although hopefully now your cycles are settling down stepping back a bit might help you. I really am keeping my fingers crossed for you!

nim sorry you're feeling crap, I hope it eases off soon. Is there anyone at work that you are happy talking to? Also yes definitely pin it on lots of good hormones rolling around in there doing their jobs.

My boobs are back into evil bitch mode. Spent the last two days living in a sleep bra because everything else is hell. Temps are high which is good but only 5dpo so still time to nosedive. My test date is next weekend whilst we are away in London. Not sure if I'm hoping for cocktails or no cocktails!

Tee4me · 12/02/2017 11:55

We're not far apart Beagles, 7dpo here.
You MUST catch up with Broadchurch, the first series is totally gripping, it won so many awards at the time. I've also just caught up with Apple Tree Yard which I'm enjoying.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! x

Londonjam · 12/02/2017 15:28

Hope your nausea is a positive sign nim

Build a bear sounds fab footy 😊

Ooh beagles I really hope it'll be double celebrations in London for you

I'm day 10 today and we are on track for EOD. Feeling a bit more relaxed about it this cycle - maybe given up a bit?! But DH preferring EOD approach and I've said I won't OPK so will see how that goes this week.

MotherOfBeagles · 13/02/2017 11:41

london that sounds good I hope the new pattern helps keep things calm and easier.

Eee tee when's your test date? Apple tree yard looks a bit too creepy for me.

Temp dipped today at 6dpo clinging on to hope it's a good thing and not some stupid up and down it normally does. I'm so clumsy at the moment it's driving me insane. Also I had a nose bleed today - I never get them!

OP posts:
Tee4me · 13/02/2017 12:23

Oh Beagles! That sounds very promising! Nose bleeds are a sign for me, had one at 7dpo with last pg, I'm sure it happens around implantation! And together with a temp dip for you, very encouraging!!
I'll test next Monday evening if nothing at the weekend xx

Footy1 · 13/02/2017 14:12

Fingers crossed beagles its a good sign.

Might be turning a corner with Dh, he wrote me a letter apologising for everything he's done and wants to change. Feeling a bit more hopeful ☺️

MotherOfBeagles · 13/02/2017 15:11

Ah that's lovely footy. I hope it's helped him get his head round things and get where you need to be.

tee I really hope so, if I'm being honest I've got my hopes up a bit this month which I know is stupid but will see!

Wow you really are strong waiting until next Monday! I'm itching to poas already.

Kiki - did you continue the metformin after bfp? I went to see gp today and she has prescribed it to take with clomid to sensitise the ovaries for 2 cycles. I forgot to ask?

physicskate · 13/02/2017 20:10

Oh footy I'm really pleased to hear that!! Small steps small steps! Let's hope words = actions!

Londonjam · 13/02/2017 20:11

So pleased to hear that footy 🌷🌼** i hope he's turned a corner

Fx testers!

Tee4me · 13/02/2017 20:19

That's awesome Footy, I bet you were shocked to read the letter! Difficult for a proud man to do that, but it shows how much he values the marriage. Onwards and upwards, a new chapter lies ahead!!
Beagles don't blame you for having hopes up! Positive thinking is good for you, certainly better for our health than worry and anxiety, so I say keep that optimism.

Kiki18 · 13/02/2017 20:22

Hi all hope everyone is OK.

Beagles and tee - fx for testing dates for you some really positive symptoms by the sounds of it!

Nim - hoping the nausea is a positive sign that all is well, hoping all goes well for you on Friday xx

Footy - that sounds positive! I had to work my way up to 3 a day starting with 1 a day for 5 days then 2 for 5 etc when I got my BFP I stopped taking them but again weaned myself off as per advice so dropped down to 2 for 5 days then 1 for 5 now not taking any. If I can give you any advice its make sure you take them with food and personally I found lunch times a bit better or to eat with 'stodge' like a good pasta meal or another good hearty meal and don't have dinner too late to take them (I have a sensitive digestive system anyway but they really upset me if I didn't take enough food or took them too close to bedtime). Owe my 2 bfps to them so FX for you xx I am surprised it's only 2 cycles though as my fertility dr advised it can take up to a month to get into your system but I guess different meds work in different ways for everyone.

Counting down till my next scan another week n two days to go but feeling rubbish (not a complaint taking it all as good signs) resorting to a diet of ginger beer and ginger biscuits and wearing a sports bra.

Londonjam · 13/02/2017 20:31

Everything crossed for your scan Kiki your symptoms sound promising

Kiki18 · 13/02/2017 20:48

Thanks jam - like the sound of your relaxed cycle this month, hopefully you will have to cancel the appointment next month due to a BFP xx

Footy1 · 13/02/2017 21:56

Ah thanks everyone. Still a long way to go with Dh, but that is a massive step as he is a very proud stubborn man. He said the counsellor made him see the damage he has caused and he felt ashamed that he trampled my feelings. Small steps though.. but it's a start. Smile*

Thanks Kiki for that advice. I took one with dinner and been burping ever since Blush. Feeling bit queasy. I don't have much luck with tablets they all seem to make me feel yukky. I'll maybe take tomorrow at lunch.. doctor was a bit reluctant as I had to tell her what I had heard and read on Google- educating her. She looked it up and said well ok.. hesitantly. She did say they might help regulate periods so I might be able to twist her arm for more if the time comes and just say they are helping massively.

I was exactly the same as you in both pregnancies felt rubbish and ginger biscuits/ginger ale combo. I also wanted bread & crisps. How many weeks would u be? I luckily was fine until 7weeks plus..then the morning sickness kicked in.

Tee getting closer for you. Really hope it's your month!! Are u still temping?

Kate, hey how u doing? On half term? Any different strategies? I'm trying to drink more milk and less alcohol!

Beagles, id at least wait to 10dpo, but understand your eagerness! I'd b the same.

Jam, hope the eod approach goes well. I quite liked this as it made me feel I had it all covered regardless of what day you ovulate.

MotherOfBeagles · 13/02/2017 23:02

tee I hope so but I tend to get massively crushed when it's a negative and AF turns up if I get my hopes up.

kiki to me that all sounds like good signs but I am a complete novice. I hope the next scan goes well and gives you all the fuzzies!

footy that does sound like such a good positive step forward. Something is obviously really working. I hope it carries on! Hmm sounds like your doc needs to think about the patient in front of her more if you're the one educating her. I really hope the new meds help!

I know 10dpo is really early to test but my lp have at their longest only been 10/11dpo so if I don't get my period then but I'm still getting bfn it messes with my head. But then when I look at July when I got my bfp I didn't get that until 16dpo but it was my first cycle in 5 years so I had no clue what to expect! Ugh. Anyway boobs are so big friends are starting to notice. My back is killing. I really dislike having big boobs at the best of times. Now I really hate it. Angry
