Kiki you didn't annoy me at all I'm just a major grump today, apologies 💐

Could that be a dud reading beagles? Did you throw the cover off or take your temp at a different time? What CD are you?

Glad you are progressing footy take it one step at a time and please keep thinking of yourself and your own needs

MotherOfBeagles · 04/01/2017 20:19

It could be but I took it three times over half an hour period and they were all that low. But just done a cheapie OPK and it's a glowing positive

OP posts:
DuRezidal · 04/01/2017 20:32

Looks like the CBFM is behaving...

Cd6 - low
CD7 - high

That is more what it was like last time.

Londonjam · 04/01/2017 20:32

Oh beagles how frustrating. What cd are you? Could you be having a cycle where you ovulate twice?

MotherOfBeagles · 04/01/2017 20:46

Good good durez you managing to get plenty of dtd in?

I'm cd20 and normally only have short cycles

OP posts:
Londonjam · 04/01/2017 21:30

Have you got any ovulation pain? Can you DTD just in case?

MotherOfBeagles · 04/01/2017 21:42

Had a few twinges the last few days. I thought it was AF coming. Yeah he'll get jumped tonight lol. How are you doing today jam?

OP posts:
physicskate · 04/01/2017 21:43

foot I'm really proud of you!! Journalling really is good for the soul. I don't think you should be in any sort of rush to make any decisions. Get your head on straight and THEN you can decide what you want!

beagles it could just be a one off. Taking temps at really different times and not sleeping well are guarantees to give an irregular trend. With such a huge dip, I would probably disregard. Don't disregard the positive opk though!!

Wow durez - super early!! I don't ov until at least cd 19 seemingly!

Londonjam · 05/01/2017 07:20

Day 1, cycle 14 😔

DuRezidal · 05/01/2017 09:27

I've just been so shattered as working 8 horses a day at the moment...

Done another one this am...

Cd6 - low
CD7 - high
Cd8 - high

Hoping I get a peak this month, as last month 10 highs in a row was not very positive.

Tee4me · 05/01/2017 10:10

Oh Jam I'm so sorry, massive hugs to you Flowers Keep your pecker up, I know it's so disheartening Sad You will get there, I'm so sorry it's dragging so much for you. When did DH start taking the supplement? Sometimes these things take a few months to take effect. I've started on a new supplement this month as I felt I may have been lacking in iron... keep expecting that to improve things overnight, but everything I read says it takes time for body to catch on. Nothing I say will help you today, but here with an ear if you need to vent xx

Footy1 · 05/01/2017 10:47

Oh no jam, I'm so sorry. FlowersFlowers
When you feel like the world says, "give up", Hope whispers, "keep on trying".
Keep going Jam. You will get there.Flowers

Durez, I've never used a fertility monitor but sounds like it gives you a warning to dtd! Keep at it..Smile

Beagles did u manage to jump him?

Atmosphere here isn't great, I'm running around after him. Even made his lunch and so far not even a text. Everytime I think things are progressing he manages to knock my confidence and throws an insult. On tender hooks waiting to be noticed. Mentioned the counselling last night and he just grunted a response of maybe if he can fit it in. Not much I can do.. hoping things will change.

Tee4me · 05/01/2017 11:08

That really sucks Footy, why is he treating you like this?? What are you supposed to have done?? Perhaps he is depressed xx

Footy1 · 05/01/2017 12:06

He just likes to control things. We have different opinions on things and because I don't agree with him sometimes he loses his temper. He's had to deal with anger issues in past and these are what flares up. He would never physically hurt me but the temper explodes enough to mentally hurt me by his actions like leaving, walking out saying hurtful things etc.. as he cant control his frustration. So he knows he's done wrong, but can't communicate any sorry he's feeling. So ignores me instead.
So then the ball is left in my court so to speak. Either I just get on with it and we don't talk about it or we do the whole drama of disagreeing and the cycle starts again. I usually drop it, and clear the air, but just leaving me because I had an opinion and ruining Christmas is quite hard to swallow. He wants to be treated like a king right now but I can't play the happy wife at the mo when I feel so miserable and hurt.

Kiki18 · 05/01/2017 14:28

Footy - I am so sorry to hear things are not good for you, its really not fair that he treats you like that he should be grateful that you took him back not expecting you to treat him like something special while he gets angry and makes you feel this bad. Just make sure you prioritise yourself and your boys, as much as you love him your happiness and theirs is much more important right now xx

Jam - I am so sorry sending hugs. Tee is right it can take a little while for bodies to adjust to supplements not that makes it any easier xx

MotherOfBeagles · 05/01/2017 15:13

footy you are too good! I understand your dh has problems he needs to work through but you need to make sure that you are happy too rather than running round after him and not get anything back.

jam I'm sorry that really is shit. Do what you need to today and look after yourself. It's hard to keep trucking so a bit of self pity and moping is okay as long as you don't let it become the norm. Thinking of you today Flowers

durez 8 horses? Wow when do I get to come and play!? lol you managing to get dtd in there too?

Managed to jump dh last night. Took a lot of work as he's knackered after going back to work but got there in the end lol. Temp back up again today but not a clue what is going on. Hoping the OPKS at least are telling the truth. Got visitors coming tomorrow for the whole weekend so dtd ain't going to happen again now until next week.

AF is jind of a good thing as it means i can start to chart properly!
good luckk everyone!

DuRezidal · 05/01/2017 15:39

Beagles I actually have around 20 and then I compete clients horses also. Not had the energy to DTD this cycle yet, just been so exhausted from catching up after the end of year.

Thissameearth · 05/01/2017 18:18

Day 1 cycle 3 - after a dry Christmas and new year great ugh. First period post MC in early Dec and my cycle is 30-34 days so ages to go now. I feel like my body didn't get the memo: we had loads of sex before during and after ovulation, get with the programme! Onwards...

Thissameearth · 05/01/2017 18:30

I'm actually a bit worried it's happening again as in Dec I POAS on the wed and it was negative then two days later got my "period", bled for 4 days then stopped for 7 days then bled again for almost two weeks. Really hope it's just my period Confused

Footy1 · 06/01/2017 08:04

Earth how many days do u usually bleed for? I guess as soon as the period feels longer than usual might b worth u getting checked out. Unless you have some IC tests u could keep checking.
My periods vary so I don't think I'd know what is not right.

Footy1 · 06/01/2017 08:14

Durez wow u sound v busy with your horses. You must be very fit.
Make sure u get time to relax though.

Welcome Lindsay, hopefully it won't take v long for your body to adjust from the pill. It took ages for me, but others were only a month or two. Have u been on pill long?

Hope you're ok jam Flowers
*
Beagles* what is your temp doing today?

Kate did AF show? Hope your DH is better.
I had a relaxing bath last night with my new disco floating light and some bubbles. "H" went out for a couple of hours so I relaxed writing my journal. In two minds whether to hide it or not; but I guess it wouldn't hurt him to see how I feel every day. Prob keep it in my drawer so it's not obvious. Really enjoying it.

Thissameearth · 06/01/2017 08:33

That sounds so chilled footy

I normally bleed for 5 - pretty sure it's my period and I'll know soon enough I just felt last night like i couldn't be bothered with another thing to wait and see about! It's Friiiiiiiiday 🤗

physicskate · 06/01/2017 08:45

Hi Lindsay! I love charting and I'm really surprised I hadn't heard of it before ttc! It's like a big Science project (clue is in my name)..

Foot no AF yet, 14 dpo today. Temps have been making a slow decline over the last 4 days. Not even bothering to test... Not too sad, just a bit disappointed. It's ok it's not my month... Onto month 10, cycle 9! Glad you're getting good use of your treats!

Wish me luck - back to work today! Not sure I will last the whole day.. but one step at a time. It's for the kids...

Tee4me · 06/01/2017 08:46

Morning all!
Earth I've found that MCs really can throw your usual pattern off course. I MC'd in March and had weird periods after for 7months (generally heavy for 2 days, then nothing for a day or so, then back to spotting). I started to wonder if I was miscarrying or having chemical pregnancies each month, but looking back was most probably just the initial one that spun me off course. I hate the second guessing with ttc, and when MC's happen, it's just another complication to navigate around.
I feel like I recovered better from the Nov MC (despite being further along and slightly more traumatic). I was 5 days early with this 1st cycle since, but thankfully had a fairly standard bleed in duration and without clots. CD13 today which is usually OD, but I'm yet to get a positive opk. I guess that could make sense as I came on early? I'm glad that my lining has longer to thicken. We've been on track with DTD, so would be a shame for that to go to waste if delayed much longer. Hopefully I'll get a positive later, they say testing first thing in the morning isn't ideal anyway. EWCM yesterday and today, temp still low.
Welcome Linsey! I know what you mean about a new cycle, at least it's a clean slate!
Beagles hoping for a temp spike so you can relax in the 2ww?!
Footy I'm sure things will slowly improve at home. I hope he comes to his senses and stops pushing you away, that's the last thing you deserve after his Christmas antics... he should be running around after you! Have you broached the ttc subject?
