Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

flash best of British with donning the cape Grin
Leg still a bit sore and I keep on forgetting to do recovery exercises Confused we are going away during Easter weekend and hotel will have a pool and we are going to do a lot of walking so we will see!! I want to start up regularly yoga practice again too.

Sorry about BFN trijo remember you are in perfect time. Flowers

TriJo · 06/04/2017 08:38

Witch is here, 32 day cycle but quite a long luteal phase (iced on cd16 judging by physical symptoms, no cuntraband here).

Perfect timing for the marathon really as well - that said it's probably going to be go time around then so hubby better not get any ideas about anything particularly athletic!

Flashinthepan · 06/04/2017 09:07

Sorry for AF Tri but amazing that you're doing a marathon!

Haha Kwick yeah, keeping the cape on today too for another go.

So gross but woke up feeling like right after you've JSed, if you know what I mean, and thought wow I thought I'd cleaned up thoroughly last night, but no, it was all me, more pant snot then I have ever seen! I was supremely healthy and active in Jan/Feb, so hoping that means a super good egg (wishful thinking!)

CD15 here, latest I have ever OVd, fingers crossed it's today or tomorrow! Otherwise my cycle will end up being long, if my LP stays long.

TractorComesFirst · 06/04/2017 14:07

Have fun getting the cape on the go flash.

Sorry to hear Af is here tri.

I have been symptom spotting like mad and poas this morning. BFN. Hoping I'm just a early as with my cycle I could 4-7 days away from AF.

Flashinthepan · 06/04/2017 14:29

GX for you tractor! How long can you hold out for before poas again?

TractorComesFirst · 06/04/2017 15:08

No more tests in the house so should manage to hold out until af appears or is really late.

My ds just appeared chewing on some soil from my plant pot so i do sometimes wonder why I'm doing all this again! Confused

Flashinthepan · 06/04/2017 15:37

Haha. I sometimes forget that if this works and I get a bfp I'll end up being a parent!

kwick · 06/04/2017 18:23

Sorry trijo Flowers

TriJo · 07/04/2017 14:35

I do love the monthly reminder that my uterus likes to refer EVERYTHING into my lower back. Pass the ibuprofen. Possibly also whiskey.

Flashinthepan · 07/04/2017 14:39

That sucks Tri. When the weather is cold I just wear a hot water bottle for two days during AF.

Ok so I have too much EWCM. It's CD 16 here. When will I Ice!!! Have JSed two days in a row though and 3 days this week so far. I am on fire! But thanks to the EWCM, not literally.

Singingforsanity · 07/04/2017 21:15

Tri, hope you're feeling better!

Flash, check you out! You and your cape are my inspiration for this cycle! SOTM goes to you me thinks! Gx I'll be able to get my cape on more this month, DH went away on a business trip when I iced last month 😩

TriJo · 07/04/2017 21:35

Thankfully DS didn't give me a bedtime ordeal tonight like last night's one! Feeling a bit better now but tbh I just want to go to bed. Can't though, hubby is picking up my SILs who are visiting for the weekend at the moment...

TractorComesFirst · 09/04/2017 09:03

How are you doing tri?

How is everyone?

AF due here tomorrow although cycles have been longer in the past so could be any time this week. Keep convincing myself that I am upduffed one minute and not upduffed the next! Hmm

NovaArt3mis · 09/04/2017 10:43

Hopefully it won't arrive at all tractor!

AF is due the end of the week. Got quite a busy week though so should be distracted enough that I won't feel the need to poas.

TriJo · 09/04/2017 12:10

Grand now, have had a busy weekend here. Deliciously warm for April here, already over 20! :)

kwick · 09/04/2017 17:50

Hope all viroids were able to enjoy the sunshine!! Tomorrow, apparently it will be artic again Sad

Flashinthepan · 09/04/2017 19:41

Thanks for the award singing! I think have done most jsing this cycle since we started TTC! Sunshine was lovely kwick, Shane it's not going to last. CD 18 and I think 2/3 dpo. Still got some cm but also have sore boobs which is a sign the progesterone has kicked in.

SofiePendragon · 09/04/2017 19:56

Good work on the JSing flash gx it does the job!

Spotting last week turned into a very light af, so that cycle was 22 days. Bleeding has been very on/off and was still there this morning. I even poas this am to check, but it was whiter than white! Considering at the end of last year I had a 96 day cycle, I don't know what's going on! Confused

Weekend sunshine has been lovely however, so time to get some PMA and move on to this cycle Smile

Good luck for this week tractor, nova and anyone else due to test!

Flashinthepan · 09/04/2017 21:28

Try a b vitamin complex Sofie. Worked wondering my shirt cycles, constant spotting and increasingly.short LP after a year of nothing helping. Could be worth a try.

Flashinthepan · 09/04/2017 21:29

God those typos made that unreadable. Worked wonders on my short cycles

SofiePendragon · 10/04/2017 09:16

Thanks flash Have been thinking about starting b vitamins or maybe agnus castus, but scared it might mess up my cycle even more. More research required I think. In the meantime, I've started running and trying to reduce refined sugar, so will see if that helps

TriJo · 10/04/2017 12:55

I really need to cut down on the sugar too, I'm totally addicted and I could do with losing some weight. I'm setting a terrible example for C too :(

TractorComesFirst · 11/04/2017 17:22

So this just happened!! BFP!!!!!

I estimate my DD to be 15th December so it looks my DS is on course for a baby brother or sister for Christmas! ConfusedShock

Lights twinkle, it's icy cold outside, 'tis the season of Yuletide, come and join us - yes you! For this is JS62!
Singingforsanity · 11/04/2017 18:09

Waaaahhhh!!!! Huge congratulations Tractor!!!! Gx crossed for a sticky bean and roll on Christmas!

SofiePendragon · 11/04/2017 21:22
