Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Also a bad viroid here and definitely not using opks.... Hmm

With that in mind I got a positive just now. On cd15 which is unheard of for me. Pre-mmc it was always cd19/20ish. Off out for lunch but will pounce on DH when we get back.

Glad he's feeling a bit better tri, how is marathon training going? And pud too!

TriJo · 30/03/2017 12:00

Nova Not too bad - I have my longest long run this weekend, I'm doing the Oakley 20-miler near Bedford on Sunday morning. Nearly 4 hours of daddy-son time! I'm quite tired at this stage and I'm looking forward to the taper because I've kinda crammed the training into a short interval (I lost 3 weeks after getting stitches in my knee in January) and my general mileage is on the low side.

SofiePendragon · 30/03/2017 19:49

I had some cramping on the left side of my pelvis earlier so I reckon that's me definitely in the twot now. Going to try not to dwell on it this month - famous last words Grin

Singingforsanity · 30/03/2017 21:17

Good luck to those beginning the twot, hope those capes have worked!

Sitting here waiting on AF, it was due yesterday or today (thought it was the day before but miscalculated) and is normally quite prompt. After my neg test yesterday I'm not hopeful but can't help that little bit of hope squeezing in, but trying to keep a lid on it so I'm not gutted in the end. That AF really is a bitch Sad

jellypi3 · 31/03/2017 18:50

Also waiting for af here. Normally arrives on cd26/27. Today is 26 but only 4dpo. By the cramping in my womble it'll show up tonight or tomorrow i reckon.

Singingforsanity · 01/04/2017 08:48

Hope it's not turned up yet Jelly!

Currently cd27, af almost always turns up cd24/25. Definitely not upduffed as p'doafrer yesterday at about 12dpo and not even a squinter. Urgh, wish she'd just hurry her ugly ass up so we can get on with next cycle!

TriJo · 01/04/2017 23:26

Expecting AF in the next couple of days here. Murphy's law would have it come tomorrow...

Singingforsanity · 02/04/2017 00:03

Gx you don't see her at all Tri. Had to google Murphy's Law

SofiePendragon · 03/04/2017 20:39

7dpo here and I'm spotting with some cramping. Can't remember ever having spotting this early before (CD 21) Confused.

kwick · 04/04/2017 07:50

Morning Viroids! Feel like it is has been a while since I shared my "patent pending" TWOT tips:

Lights twinkle, it's icy cold outside, 'tis the season of Yuletide, come and join us - yes you! For this is JS62!
TractorComesFirst · 04/04/2017 07:51

How is your spotting and cramping situation today Sofie?

How is everyone doing? Hope AF hasn't turned up for those that were waiting on it.

I'm 8 dpo and symptom spotting this morning. Been a bit of an insomniac the last two night and this morning I'm feeling a bit sicky and ravenous all at the same time. Hmm

cookielove · 04/04/2017 09:16

I am stepping back, financially we cannot afford another baby due to other expenses so see in you in a while :)

Flashinthepan · 04/04/2017 09:32

I'm always lazy to get going with JSing after the witch leaves and I think I'm coming to the end of FW. Have not done enough but have done it twice on days with visible pant snot and assuming will Ice today or tomorrow, which means it would be 13/14 days, and if I can maintain my 14 day LP from last cycle, it means the B50 is a miracle vitamin!

Sorry to hear that cookie hope that the time passes quickly.

GX those are good signs Tractor.

Hope af is staying away for everyone.

SofiePendragon · 04/04/2017 13:25

Spotting is a bit heavier today, so assuming this is the start of AF and have had a weirdly short cycle/lp. Bit gutting as we made a massive effort with dtd in the run up to ovulation this month and I'd hoped we were in with a chance. I nOn to the next cycle I guess Sad

jellypi3 · 04/04/2017 15:25

awww sorry to see you go cookie, see you soon!

sofia gx it's not AF still!

flash b50? I've been taking b-complex for lp defect, is b50 different?

8dpo today, no witch yet but crampy and back achy so expecting her to ride up any moment, but seeing as lp for last 2 months was 7 days, 8dpo is a marked improvement.

Flashinthepan · 04/04/2017 15:38

Jelly B50 is a complex I think the 50 refers to how many milligrams of one/some of the b vits, as you can also get B100. I started taking mine for spotting throughout LP and what seemed to be a 9 day LP. Last month (first month taking the B vits) I had 14 day LP and only one/two days of light spotting. This month, I think I will ovulate today or tomorrow, so CD 13/14. If I have another 14 day LP I will have reached the holy grail of a 28 day cycle!

TractorComesFirst · 04/04/2017 18:16

Sorry to hear that cookie Sad

kwick · 04/04/2017 18:31

Take care @cookielove see you soon!

jellypi3 · 04/04/2017 23:04

Ah got you flash. I take the b100 i think.

Flashinthepan · 05/04/2017 07:28

kwick how are you?

kwick · 05/04/2017 08:17

Hiya flash I am ok - I am moving to a new job (same company) for less pay, temp contract but hopefully less stress and travel... will have to do both jobs for a while as they find replacement - which could take months but them's the breaks! Need to call new FC to get a second opinion (my FC will not treat me until I lose 15kg) - may do that today. Trying to focus on losing weight but it is hard - especially whilst leg is still not 100%.
How are you doing?

Flashinthepan · 05/04/2017 08:48

New job with less stress and travel sounds like a great change (shame about the cash though!).

Good idea re contacting the new fertility clinic. It's good to have the weight loss to distract you from the process, but when it's been forced on you with no real explanation it seems so incredibly unfair. Hopefully the new FC will have different criteria/advice for you.

How long do you think before the leg recovers?

I'm good. Also sticking with the healthy eating/exercising as a way to stay occupied. I think will OV tonight or tomorrow, got loads of EWCM again so hoping to get some JSing in tonight. I've gradually chilled out the last couple of cycles, so hoping can remain zen this time!

jellypi3 · 05/04/2017 09:56

CD1 here, managed an 8 day LP, AF arrived on 9DPO so improvement on last month.

NovaArt3mis · 05/04/2017 20:03

Take care cookie hope to see you back soon.

Interesting list kwick!

Glad you saw an improvement in LP jelly

I've been focussing on healthy eating too. Go us! I'm in the tww but haven't been counting dpo. Have felt a little indifferent/disillusioned about the whole process since mmc. Which is kinda nice actually, just getting on with things and not stressing about every little ttc related thing.

TriJo · 06/04/2017 00:18

BFN but no sign of the witch. Kinda just want it to hurry up and come at this stage because (a) I'm really impatient (b) we have visitors from Ireland this weekend staying with us so I'd like to be over the worst and (c) I have a new Mooncup that I'm kinda looking forward to trying!
