Cracked & got the whitest of BFN this morning :(.

Think that's me out, slinking off towards the back of the bus! According to Clue, if AF comes on time on Sunday my next AF will be 3/1.

Usernamegone · 02/12/2016 08:51

Mrs G I'm testing on 28/12

MrsG280516 · 02/12/2016 09:46

Starting to get quite excited!! No usual PMS symptoms as yet, I would usually start getting cramps and then spotting tonight if I was due on Grin

Ooo mrs the lines on your fr are lovely and strong

Lovechild2016 · 02/12/2016 10:05

Well cramps and spotting this morning so think the witch has appeared 2 days early. It would be cycle day 27 but because it's now cd 1 does that mean it was a 26 day cycle? So sad 😟 I've waited to ttc to get my career and life sorted as was convinced it would happen straight away but now I'm worried I've left it too late.

MrsG280516 · 02/12/2016 10:13

Lovechild CD1 is your first day of full flow, if you're just spotting today and don't need to use a pad or tampon then don't count it just yet. Don't worry about leaving it too late, the average time it takes most couples to conceive is 6-12 months. Anyone who conceives before that is just lucky.

MrsG eeep! Can't believe how excited I am on your behalf haha lovely strong lines Smile I love seeing people's positive HPTs makes me feel all optimistic and hopeful

I managed to resist testing again today but might do on the weekend as my AF due date is on Monday

Sorry to hear lovechild if it makes you feel any better I also thought it'd happen straight away and it hasn't, really is a test of patience this TTC malarkey isn't it, sure it'll be ok though hang in there and hope for a successful cycle next time xx

powerpuffer · 02/12/2016 11:59

Tested again this morning and still a BFN. Due on tonight/tomorrow so I guess it will become clearer then. DH admitted last night that he thought my illness was pregnancy related and was sad when I tested negative. It broke my heart just a little bit.

binkybunny · 02/12/2016 12:41

Cramps and blood in CM. Clinging onto hope that it's implantation related but fairly sure AF will be here soon Sad

MrsCummings · 02/12/2016 14:39

So, I blew off some steam last night... by drinking a rather epic amount of vodka.

Today, I am now hungover, have got the arse because my womb is a barren wasteland and if it wasn't i wouldn't have a bloody hangover!

Roll on 4:30, I plan to put my pj's on and eat chips... because I am poorly Wink

ThirdThoughts · 02/12/2016 15:46

Congrats MrsG!

Jumping on board here.

Cycle 3 (we've been trying for longer but charting this long)
TTC #2
CD 25 - so in 2ww
Period due: 10th Dec
Though I think it might come a bit sooner as I ovulated cd18/19 this cycle, previously cd23.

Prior to these three cycles I had 50 day cycles (and sometimes longer/absent ones) but I started taking regular exercise and they came down dramatically to 34, so may become shorter still.

Ohb0llocks · 02/12/2016 16:08

Can't remember if I said but congratulations mrsg!! GrinFlowers

Ohb0llocks · 02/12/2016 16:17

Another BFN today! Think I'm out for this one.

powerpuffer · 02/12/2016 16:25

No, ohb0llocks, you aren't out. Neither am I. We will both get our BFP this weekend. It's too cold for the witch to visit us, she can't be bothered to de-ice her broomstick. I have spoken! Grin

Ohb0llocks · 02/12/2016 16:40

I bloody hope so power. Been cramping on and off for 2 days now.

powerpuffer · 02/12/2016 17:00

ohb0llocks Same. My LP is 11 days which means I'm due on today at 12dpo but Ovia is saying tomorrow. I'm crampy and miserable and did a shop in Boots earlier where I got FRER tests and tampons in the same basket. The woman looked at me as if I was mad and then IDd me for razor blades despite me being a decade older than I need to be

Lovechild2016 · 02/12/2016 17:49

Thanks tinkerbell agreed a very frustrating business. I think there is a massive design flaw in that not only when AF arrives you have disappointment of not being pg but you also get all pms (I know it's meant to be pre menstrual but I am always a teary mess when I come on!). I am def on full AF now so counting it as cd1 which means at least I get another shot at 2016: due to test 30-12-16. Congrats mrsG that is a BFP right there. Hoping all goes well for you 💐power and ohb0llocks I'm rooting for you this weekend! Likewise all you other ladies due to test. Xxx

Ohb0llocks · 02/12/2016 18:47

Based on a 28 day cycle I'm due on 8th but had a positive OPK on 18th so no idea! Cramps all day and creamy/milky cm

Writerwannabe83 · 02/12/2016 20:51

Just had another FB announcement of pregnancy - I hate seeing 12 week scan pictures!!!

I got my positive OPKS on CD19 and CD20 (a few days late for me) and we only DTD on CD19 so a pretty shocking effort really. I wish we could have sex more often during the FW but life always seems to get in the way.

I'm hoping that DC2 may be the result of a one-off quickie. I'm going to test next Friday as I reckon I will be about 11-12dpo then.

Bows85 · 02/12/2016 21:15

I'm going to add to the frustrated posts...must be one of those days!
Still getting negative OPKs (now on CD20) so slowly coming to the conclusion that my two long cycles (42 and 41 days) since stopping the pill might actually be my normal cycle length.
While that would be annoying, I could cope with it, because at least I'd know where I was at each month. The thing that's getting me down is that DH buggers off with work for 11 days on Sunday, slap bang at the start of what might be my FW. Looks like December won't be our month Sad

Bows85 · 02/12/2016 21:19

Writer - you've said you ov'd on CD 19/20; I hope you don't mind me asking...how long are your cycles normally?
And does anyone else out there have frustratingly long cycles?

Writerwannabe83 · 02/12/2016 21:32

Bow - normally I ovulate on CD17 and then get my period on what would be CD31.

Prior to DS my cycles were 35 days and they seemed to drag on for ever!!

BertieBotts · 02/12/2016 22:24

Oh no, Bows! Make sure you DTD before he leaves, got to be worth a shot!

I tend to O between d14-20 but my luteal phase is always exactly 12 days except Hmm when it's not because the last 3 since miscarriage have either been 11 or 14 days with no in between which just drives me nutty, luteal phase is SUPPOSED to be the one thing which never changes!

Xqzit · 02/12/2016 22:40

Hi,

Can I hop on please

Xqzit
Age: 35
I don't know what all the DD and DS and TTcs mean so I'll write in full sentences if you all don't mind
Trying for #2. My #1 is 4years old. Had Miscarriage 8months ago. Period came today. Not happy. Need advice, need help, need to chill but I can't

Kskifred · 02/12/2016 22:48

Welcome! It's so hard isn't it, well just know you aren't alone in your quest for a positive preg test!

Allow a little time to be upset when your period shows, but try and see it as a new cycle, therefore new opportunity. Are you tracking your cycle at all using ovulation tests or temping etc? x
