As I'm in the last week of the 2WW now I've resorted to jumping out of bed and running straight for a wee and flushing before I can even consider POAS so far so good I've restrained... absolute earliest I will is Thursday but still don't have any symptoms at all so got a feeling it's not happening this month :/

Gingerchoc - thanks for your help. I've just had my 5th flashing face in a row so I'm going to test this evening. Today is CD12 and I O'd at CD13 last cycle so it seems time to bump up the testing to twice a day.

I waited for AF to arrive last cycle with no HPGs, it was torture. I'm defo testing early this cycle, I'd prefer to be prepared. Although maybe not at 2DPO!

9dpo and FMU - BFN. Urgh. My boobs are the sorest they've ever been but no other real signs. AF is due on Friday/Saturday so I guess it's a waiting game. I've never been one to be patient!

Tested FMU today as ovia said AF is due but I got a BFN. Gutted. We did so much BDing I'm not sure how a negative is even possible
My egg must be extremely picky to ignore all the potential suitors she met this month. Stuck up cow.

So I will wait for AF to show her miserable face.

PS I did a HUGE wee this morning and left it in a jug on the bathroom on the floor, came back in, forgot it was there and kicked it sending most of the wee everywhere So if BFN wasn't enough I then had to clear up my pregnancy-hormone-free piss off the floor first thing this morning. Fantastic.

PPS my nipples HURT today to boot.

I can really empathise. In so much af pain this morning! On the plus side my first cycle post pill is right on track. Totally routine so this gives me hope for bfp at Christmas! If It doesn't happen at least it will be fun trying! And thank you for this thread. Has given lots of support that there are others going through this as well x

Oh you ladies make me laugh. At least we're all insane. I rooted through the bathroom bin last night for my pee stick because I was convinced that after about 12 hours there must have been at least an evap line... nope!

Hello gorgeous ones! I've been on nights, seems I've missed a lot of poas, good to know we're all as nuts as each other. I am a opk virgin, yesterday was feint and post nights and full of Chinese I just couldn't dtd! This morning they're def pos, have I missed my window?

I looked at my definitely negative hpts this morning, squinting till I was almost cross-eyed but there was absolutely categorically no second line. So I kept coming back to it over the next hour staring and squinting hoping another line has miraculously appeared!! Of course it didn't!! can't promise I won't check them again later for evap lines though

Focused and quirky yes! Definitely not obsessed/unhinged/verging on the hysterical...

FlaminFlamingo I got an evap line last month, my oh came in from work at 6pm to the house a tip, pregnant tests all over and me in my dressing gown holding this test to the light...... the insanity gets us all. Sending you love x

I'm quite new to OPKS too but I think you are alright - the OPK surge means you will ovulate 12-48hours AFTER your surge (the hormone surge causes ovulation. ) so do what you can over next few days.

Ideally you time it so that you Dtd in the lead up to the surge (just before you ovulate) so the 'little guys' are up there, ready and waiting for the arrival of the egg. The little guys can hang around up there in 'Club Red' for days just waiting. It practice this is quite difficult to know your timings so DTD every 2 days over fw gives you the best chance to conceive.

I am enjoying the POAS tales ladies. Why is it so hard to resist?!
I did one test last month and have vowed not to test until CD40 anymore as I just get my hopes up. Easy to say on CD4 I suppose!

I hope this bus is luckier than the November bus - not many people seemed to get their BFPs then.

I have stocked up on conception vitamins, Clear Blue ovulation tests and downloaded the Ovia app. I mean business now. How do you all find the app? Useful?

POAS 11dpo at 4 am and it was the biggest fattest nope ever, oh woke up to see me in bed with it shining my phone torch light on it.. He just turned over and went back to sleep 😂
Woke up at 7am for school run and looked at it again so hard I may have pulled my brain!! There wasn't even an evap line, it was the cleanest whitest bit of paper I've ever seen. Still not even the slightest boob ache so I've given in to the fact this isn't my month, even though I've done everything exactly right. So pants!

The POAS stories are cracking me up

I must say this is the most uneventful 2WW I've ever had so far ... almost every month I've had symptoms of some description and managed to convince myself this it but this time feel 100% normal expectations sufficiently lowered I think!

Still doesn't mean I can guarantee I won't POAS early though

I have the Ovia app and I'm finding it useful so far. DS is/was a pill baby so I've never actually had the TTC experience, so it's handy when you have no bloody idea what you need to be doing and when

All this symptom spotting has made me wonder how I ever was surprised when AF came previously. Since using Fertility Friend and Ovia it is clear that I turn into an emotional psycho the day before I get a positive OPK and my boobs are sore at predictable times, although last month it was just the left one!

I wish I'd started logging before so I could see proper patterns.

I'm feeling crampy and sore boobs but think it's too early to have any major symptoms - the 2ww craziness has started!

Been on holiday so lots of dtd but no symptoms apart from a bit emotional but I think due to tiredness.

Really thought it would happen this month 😞
