Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (AF) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier.

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around too. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, temp experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

I ve heard is painful but i am not easily freaked out :p dont really feel anything during smear tests or scans . This list is making me freak out however :)

Musicgrrl · 04/11/2016 07:12

Thank you lovely ladies. I had the steak and glass of wine and didn't feel too bad about it. It's so bloody stupid because I really seriously doubt I'm pregnant right now anyway!! Ah well. Couldn't enquire too much into what friend had read without giving myself away a bit. Doesn't sound terribly scientific though.

Mrs how is your temp looking today? Up/down? Mine was still quite low.

kwik sorry that technology ruined your evening!!

sk1pper · 04/11/2016 07:48

Kwick - how are you today?

Nicky - oh fair enough, I am hoping I can get mine through the NHS eventually. It's a lot of money for me at the moment. Hope it goes well xx

muisic - glad you enjoyed yourself, very important not to let TTC get in the way of enjoying your life!

Couldn't DTD last night, cystitis AGAIN. I'm an expert with this condition now, so got all my remedies out (some natural, some not) and this morning it's much better. No idea why I get it so much, I always urinate after DTD now to make sure my tract is clear.

kwick · 04/11/2016 08:04

Yep nicky I reported the internet (and my land line) issue to BT on wednesday. I restarted my laptop, still nada.

Hope you get well soon sk1pper Flowers

Still feel yucky but on my way to work, with vague hope I can leave early.

MouseLove · 04/11/2016 08:37

Not that I thought I was "in" but I'm pretty sure I'm out indefinitely until AF starts a new cycle. Who knows when that will be, not me!!

CD50 / 10DPO (according to FF)

I have a theory on my chart too. I was looking at the pattern last night. And it does wave so I envisioned the first part of my cycle. It could have mirrored the latter.

I think my body tried to ovulate on CD14/15 as usual. Then 2 weeks later my temp had a drop. But nothing happened so it looks like my body tried again on day 40. I don't think I actually ovulated. But my body produced the signs and I certainly got the tummy ache too. I also got HUGE amounts of EWCM the second time on days 37/38/39 and then again a normal amount on 41. I'm looking at it from a logical POV. I think I'm in for the long haul until my body sorts itself out. ConfusedSad

Glad you still enjoyed yourself Music its nice to have date nights every now and then

Get better soon sk1pper I've had cystitis a few times and it's so annoying.

Temp has rocketed back up this morning (11dpo) but unsure if that's down to half a bottle of wine last night or not. Its the highest its ever been, so even without the wine I imagine it would have been higher than yesterdays temp, there's a 0.24 difference in the two of them.

Musicgrrl · 04/11/2016 09:40

Mrs that sounds like it could be an implantation dip so a great sign! You could try testing tomorrow if 12dpo - I've seen other charts where people have tested when their temp shot back up and got early bfps. FX for you!

Mouse hmm yes it does look as though O hadn't happened for you yet. Hopefully it won't be too much longer now. My first cycle off bc was 61 days. Hopefully you won't beat that!

MrsG280516 · 04/11/2016 10:35

I'm so nervous about testing tomorrow, arghhhh!

Musicgrrl · 04/11/2016 11:20

I'll be living vicariously through you Mrs! Although please don't be disheartened if you don't fall pregnant for your first cycle - it would be such good luck if you did!

YouOweMeATenner · 04/11/2016 11:32

mouse hope your body sorts itself out soon and you can get on to a more typical cycle!

kwick hows the lurgy? And what about your Internet? I'm not sure what I would do without it, I might actually have to talk to dp... Imagine...

sk1pper fx the cystitis clears up asap

starmist I'm sure you will catch that wee egg :)

London Capetown is amazing, I'm very jealous.

mrsg I'm excited for you to test! Have a good feeling for you

Thanks everyone for all your kind words, I've finally manages to stem the flow of tears and feeling much more balanced today. My temp chart is all over the place. No idea what's going on or how to read it. AF is due on 8/11. Ovia is telling me to test on 6/11, FF saying 13/11. Why such a big difference? I think my plan will be to test on Sunday with an Internet cheapie and if there's nothing happening, I'll try with a clear blue on Wednesday.

AlexiaB · 04/11/2016 12:19

Hi everyone, checking back in after a crazy few days. Welcome to the newbies!

skipper ouch! Hope that clears up soon. How's your clearblue trial going?

Music and MrsG LSFX for you both! Also glad you enjoyed the steak and wine Music. Your friend was talking rubbish as others have said.

Mouse and Hep I hope you both see AF very soon ladiesFlowers Mouse your chart is wild, are you sleeping well?

Jem I share those thoughts completely. It truly sucks. LSFX it's your monthFlowers Cape Town sounds amazing, how lucky!

Kwick hope you're feeling better. Take it easyFlowers I love your magic potion choiceWink My DH is tall, dark (hair and eyes) and tanned. I have green eyes though so maybe baby could have my eyes.

Tenner your DH is a sweetie. Can't believe your 'friends' did that to youFlowers I hope you confronted them?
Is this your first time charting with FF? The test date will be based on O date plus a long luteal phase since they don't know what your regular LP is yet. Ovia imo is useless unless you have a perfectly regular cycle. I would test when you're 12dpo at the earliest, although it is possible to get a BFP earlier depending on implantation. I would also use a FRER before a Clearblue Digital.

Gee how are you getting on with Clomid? Any side effects? My side effects have been fatigue, over emotional (3rd day) and some mild O type pains. I'm not going to pay for a private scan at this point because I'm only really interested in seeing ovulation this cycle (chart will show this).

I got the best package in the post todayGrin ONE HUNDRED Femara (2.5mg) tablets. I'm so happy!! My MiL is the best. She paid and had it shipped to us in super quick time, with a Doctor's prescription too. Hopefully I won't need anything close to 100 tabs but it's definitely reassuring to have. I've got enough for 20 months at 5x2.5mg or 10 months at 10x5mg. I'll start on the lowest dose but most likely take 5mg afterwards. Hopefully this now means I'll never have to experience a non-O cycle again.

FluttershyStare · 04/11/2016 12:23

So my brown spotting of yesterday has become redder spotting today

Bugger, I think that's me out... I'd half convinced myself that this was the month.

Ah well, roll on chocolate and wine this weekend then

MrsG280516 · 04/11/2016 12:27

Thanks ladies, don't know what I would have done without all your advice this first cycle!

WingingIt83 · 04/11/2016 14:16

Wow nicky that's quote a list!

Fingers crossed for you mrs

After my dip my temp went back up yesterday but then dipped then further today. But at least have reached 11 dpo so think the agnus castus has done it's job again this month in lengthening luteal.

MouseLove · 04/11/2016 14:16

Alexia I think I sleep well. My testing times are quite early though. 5am as standard as that's when DHs alarm goes off. I usually go back to sleep/ till 7am. When I test at 7am at the weekends my temps seems more normal. Sometimes I wake at 3am so I temp then. Usually it's lower at 5am. It's very strange. I can get up for a wee, come back to bed and my temp will be lower. My house isn't cold.

WingingIt83 · 04/11/2016 14:21

..... hmm just had the feeling I should knicker check AF def on her way!

MrsG280516 · 04/11/2016 14:32

Sorry about AF Winging FlowersChocolateWine

AlexiaB · 04/11/2016 15:11

Mouse I've had a closer look at your chart. Your Saturday temp is usually very high but Sunday is much lower though? If you only look at the dark blue circles (apart from the 9th&10th) your chart looks much more 'normal' as they're all around the same pre-O temp zone and the fluctuation between each temp isn't as drastic. I feel bad saying this but I just don't think temping at different times will work for you. If 5am is your temp time because of DH (and I don't think 5am is too early at all if you've had 3+ hours solid sleep) then you have to temp at 5am at the weekends too so that you have the best chance of having an accurate chart. Maybe try it for a weekend or two? I don't find it a hassle- I turn alarm off, grab thermometer, keep eyes shut and temp, take it out once it's beeped and go straight back to sleep. When I wake up later I check the thermometer for the temp reading and input it into FF. I think not temping at 5am every day, waking up randomly at 3am and just general 1st chart anxiety is giving you a wacky chart. Keep going though, it's all valuable data and it will be interesting to see what your next chart after AF looks likeSmile

So sorry Wing and Flutter FlowersCakeWine

WingingIt83 · 04/11/2016 15:12

So AF having turned up means my cycle was actually 27 days so not as good as I had originally thought having got to 31 days last cycle

geeup · 04/11/2016 15:29

Hi all
Alexia - no side effects from the clomid again other than some hot flushes but mainly in the night/first thing. Have my next scan on Wednesday so looking forward to finding out what's going on in there!

AlexiaB · 04/11/2016 15:34

That's great Gee. Let us know how your scan goes, fx for lots of nice follies. I forgot to mention feeling hotter too. Do you chart? My BBT has increased since I took Clomid. It doesn't look like any of my previous charts.

Wing is your LP shorter than last month? I think 11 days is fine but if you're worried you could talk to your GP?

Lurgy still ubiquitous (new word for me, trying to use it so I remember it Grin). Left work about 45 mins early.
BT engineer called me earlier, hopefully it is fixed now... will soon find out. Really considering switching away from BT.

Tenner looks like I need to give you the chat about using a FRER Wink

Jesus there have been so many screechy chidren on the bus this week it kinda puts you off... I really do not recall my beloved nephew being like that!!!

Remind me what Femara is Alexia? Hmm

Sorry wing Flowers I had such hopes!

I am so so glad I do not need to temp!!! 5am thyroxine pill is enough of a hassle!

I have day 9 scan tomorrow and due to lurgy am well behind on milk consumption... will binge tonight...
FX for a lovely follicle or 2.

AlexiaB · 04/11/2016 17:58

Kwick "Femara (generic name is letrozole) is an oral drug which can be an effective fertility treatment for women with ovulation problems, or for those with unexplained infertility."

It's similar to Clomid but much safer in my opinion. It won't thin your lining, no horrible side effects and no risk of OHSS. The best thing is you can take Femara every cycle whereas with Clomid you're not meant to exceed a certain amount of cycles per year, consecutively and some even you shouldn't take more than 12 cycles in your lifetime (opinions differ).

Glad you got home a bit earlier. We're with Virgin for TV, internet and phone line and since we switched we've saved loads and had a reliable service.

Can't believe I've just got this line on cd10!!! Shock Especially since it was stark white yesterday. I wasn't even going to test again today but thought I spotted wet cm. I've never had a line this dark before cd14 and I've not seen a decent line on an OPK since August. Fx it continues to darken and I O in the next 5 days.
