Fingers crossed for you too! Hope our willpower holds out!

Heatherbaby · 25/10/2016 09:52

Hi ladies, how are everyones symptoms at your stage of your cycle?

hells I didn't even consider taking ibuprofen may be harmful to a new pg... some research required by me!

19laura88 yes our cycles are pretty much identical this month! Fx we can both hold out until 1st Nov to test!

I don't seem to have many symptoms. Usually have sore boobs a week before af and with af due in 7 days I feel pretty ordinary. The mild tugging and cramping in the womb area has stopped. I did wake up early this morning to pee which is very unusual for me... but when I began to wonder out loud my DH commented "is opening your eyes a pg symptom too" Blush point taken! Must stop over analysing!

Heatherbaby · 25/10/2016 09:56

Fx pyjamas good willpower not testing until AF is overdue! I am going to take a leaf out of your book on this one!

bassetmum · 25/10/2016 10:17

Fx for the willpower pjs. Im hoping mine will hold till the weekend.

I think im going insane lol. I had a (tmi) sicky burp this morning, I feel really hot and like I'm catching a cold, but there is a cold going around at work! Im absolutely exhausted too.

My knee, as quickly as it started hurting its stopped. Its absolutely fine today. Bodies are weird.

MrsG280516 · 25/10/2016 10:50

Bless you basset I bet I'll be doing the same next week, its so hard not to over analyse everything

19Laura88 · 25/10/2016 12:04

haha heather I've been the same the last two months every little twinge is a symptom! This month I'm trying not to over analyse things but it's hard! I don't mention any of it to my DH he will think I am quite loopy!

Heatherbaby · 25/10/2016 16:29

After spending most my spare time not working but researching the very early stages of pg I am now convinced it's almost impossible to feel symptoms of pg before you miss AF. IB is mentioned all over forums but in fact is pretty rare.

The rest is just usual hormones and very unlikely to be related to an actual pg. Right... I am now backing off my 2ww hysteria Blush

Is it me or is this week the longest of my life. ..

bassetmum · 25/10/2016 17:38

Heather i am exactly the same. We had a new photocopier at work today and I was the only one who could smell the new plastic coming from it. I am also absolutely exhausted, I could quite easily go to bed right now.

I think they need to create some way of ignoring the tww.

OP posts:
Heatherbaby · 25/10/2016 18:38

Haha basset yup, my colleague was having prawn noodles for lunch and I was practically vomiting in my mouth at the smell. But then... would I always feel like that but not ever think to link it with pg...

When will you be testing basset?

I am 7-9dpo (not sure exactly when I o'd, positive was on Sunday 16th) and really, implantation may not have even happened yet, and if it has the pg hormone or any other hormone can't nearly be strong enough for me to feel a difference... are we crazy or are these self imposed placebo symptomsConfused

Finding I'm too impatient for 2ww. If it hasn't happened this month, don't know how the devil I'll cope over and over again!

bassetmum · 25/10/2016 20:37

Ovia reckons i can test in 3 days. I know I ovulated at some point over the weekend of 15/16th going by my symptoms and af should be due on the 30th so not sure when to test. My oh would think I am nuts if he knew although to be fair I mentioned on Sunday about my boobs killing me (puppy whacked them) and he was like I read a buzzfeed article about early pg symptoms and that's a sign. Then he asked but isn't it a pms symptom too, I was like yup. They haven't got a clue bless them.

How is everything going Pjs?

Pyjamas81 · 25/10/2016 20:56

Am consumed with a cold over here basset! It's rubbish. Had to come home early as felt so crap - everyone at work is ill though, so am not reading into it! 14dpo today and AF due tomorrow - will be interesting to see what temp does tomorrow morning. Although the this cold may keep it up... Not going to test - have got enough on my plate with feeling ill and a lot of stress at work this week.

In any case have got mooncup at the ready as still zero symptoms!

I remember in first month of TTC the smell of DH's curry made me gag and I thought all kinds of things - after that, I vowed not to read into symptoms ha ha. But, I've got my fingers crossed for all of you!

I've now made a crochet hat Smile

LisaSimpsonsbff · 25/10/2016 21:01

My DH is getting pretty au fait with it all - I (jokingly) told him yesterday that we should get on it and showed him the 10 fertility rating on ovia; he immediately replied 'yeah but you've also told it you've got duff (sticky) mucus so you can't seduce me with your ovulation lies!'. After we both stopped laughing we agreed that that could go straight to the top of the 'conversations we never imagined having' list!

Eva30 · 25/10/2016 22:20

Been away for a few days so I have some catching up to do. Looks like a lot of you in tww - good luck all!! Fingers crossed for some BFP's. Oh how I love the symptom spotting and googlingGrin

Cd10 here and coming up to FW. In other news I have put on 1.5stone since quitting smoking in April so I'm joining Slimming World classes tomorrow. Maybe this will boost TTC too, hope so

Pyjamas81 · 26/10/2016 08:28

So today is test day and I resisted! Temp shot up this morning, but I think it's this damn cold. AF due today - fingers crossed she stays away!

Good work on Slimming World Eva - I've really good things about it. I seem to have put on a stone since coming off the pill - got a size 14 dress the other day for the first time ever, which I know is not large, but I'm still not happy!

bassetmum · 26/10/2016 08:58

Well done pjs lets hope the temp spike is not just because of the cold. I'm thinking my sniffles and scratchy throat are now going to turn into a cold grrr. Glad you are getting on okay with the crochet. I actually managed to get some done last night too as my puppy was behaving haha.

I am so exhausted today. My oh spent all night trying to push me out of bed in his sleep (of course he countered with exactly the same argument!!). Ive also had some left sided pain in my pelvis plus I'm peeing for England already.

HellsBellsK · 26/10/2016 09:37

Morning Ladies,

Well done resisting pj hopefully its not because of the cold.

Eva heard great things about slimming world, my auntie started last year and lost 3 stone!

lisa that made me laugh. If someone looked in my google search history they would be like Hmm

Ovia says I can test today but going to wait till I'm due AF which is Saturday so may text Monday if it doesn't arrive.

Piehunter · 26/10/2016 09:53

pj's Basset hells heather and any others I've missed, FX for you tww -ers!! Grin

Pyjamas81 · 26/10/2016 13:34

And like clockwork, fucking AF has arrived (excuse my language). I kind of knew as had no symptoms, but this time has got to me Sad Maybe am generally feeling sorry for myself as am ill. Just feel exhausted even contemplating month 5 Sad Oh well, at least I didn't waste a test.

bassetmum · 26/10/2016 14:19

I'm sorry pjs that the bitch witch got you. Definitely spoil yourself with some chocolate and wine (unless you are on cold and flu tablets then just the chocolate). Being poorly is probably not helping with the disappointment.

I've now also got an ulcer on my tongue appear this afternoon and its sodding painful.

OP posts:
florafoxtrot · 26/10/2016 14:27

Sorry she's arrived PJs. Sodding old bag

MrsG280516 · 26/10/2016 15:01

So sorry PJs horrible witch! WineChocolateFlowers

Eva30 · 26/10/2016 15:18

So sorry pjsFlowersCake that's really crap. Bang on time too. Yeah true about not wasting the test though.
Thanks pjs and hellsbells - since stopping smoking and stopping the pill I've been eating everything in sight and saw some horrible photos of myself recently so need to get my arse in to gear!!
basset how many dpo are you?

I had a bit of EWCM today yay, will harass DH tonight ha!

HellsBellsK · 26/10/2016 15:55

So sorry PJs Look after yourself Flowers

Monkeyandthebear · 26/10/2016 16:10

Hi guys just dropping in to say hi. Pjs sorry the witch has got you. I know that feeling of utter exhaustion with it. Too many ups and downs emotionally. Keep going though, you will get your bfp.

Eva good job on ewcm

I am now 5 weeks. Starting to feel a little bit of symptoms but generally ok. Had to poas again today just to make sure I really was still pregnant. Oh and I thought the 2ww was long but I have only known I was pregnant for 5 days and it seems like forever!

bassetmum · 26/10/2016 16:20

Eva get harassing that man Wink

I think I am either 10/11dpo.

Monkey glad everything is going okay. Everyone always suggests pregnancy goes really quickly, I'm not convinced though.
