We've had a bit of a bfp success streak so let's continue that on into thread 5!!

Thanks Bobo!! I did another one tonight (not CB, cheapies from Amazon) and no second line yet., but I can feel stuff is going on down there!! I'll keep trying though. When you say don't trust the face trust the line, do you mean on the CB opk? But where is the line then? I am clearly having a senior moment 🤔

Yup Kaisha, Mouse is right it's the last 2 weeks of your cycle but if you don't track ovulation it's hard to pinpoint when it starts. I would test on the day you think AF is supposed to come if it hasn't by then, I would imagine that will be close enough.

high I had similar responses following an ultrasound so my ovaries had pcos characteristics but I didn't meet all the criteria.

My doc still decided to put me on metformin low level and also checked my thyroid levels (which weren't right) so was put on tablets for that as well.

Highhopes I'm glad you're finally getting that referral - 18 weeks to wait for something so urgent that's insane!!!!

tata also cb doesn't work the same as normal opks they will give you a line if lh is over a certain level. The cb one works off your own levels so the first day tour test will always be negative as it counts that as your baseline and then will give you results after that based on how much higher it is since that baseline I think? I'm sure that's how they work anyway.

highhopes sorry you're having to chase again, you're really not having much luck lately but fx something is going on in there now! Did you do an opk?

Moonlight Yes I did an opk when I got home from work and barely had a second line so it def wasn't ovulation pains.

Ladies I have turned into a mental poas person. So did one when i got home tonight and I swear I see something... I've had to majorly play around with the contrast on the pic to make it show. It's so faint... Let me know what you think? I'm 11dpo (af came on 11dpo last month)

It's soooooo so so so faint in real life tho. I have played around with the contrast on that pic so bad to make it show 🙈. Don't know if I'm just being a crazy woman!! 😩

I have one cheapie left, will do that in the morning and if I still see something I will get a frer for Saturday. Fx fx fx...

Well did another cheapie this morning ladies and still looks exactly the same... The faintest squint of a line. Maybe I have a dud batch of tests that are giving false faint positives? Maybe I will but an frer over the weekend anyway, just to see and put me out of my Mysery! So I'm still none the wiser really... 12 dpo today.

Mouse - I came off the pill in July but took me a while to get a period so this is only actually cycle 2.

Luci, that's exactly how my first line on a Superdrug Value test looked. I had to play around with contrast etc. but still was very faint. I did an FRER later that same day and the line was nice and clear. Fx for you. x

Keep us posted, Luci! I don't want to seem like I'm getting your hopes up with my own experience. But whatever the FRER says, it's got to be better than squinting and wondering! x

Moonlight thanks for the tip, that's helpful! It's rubbish though if I took it when my lh level was already high then that screws up the whole baseline doesn't it? And I thought buying the CB stuff was the safest bet!
I think I had a second line this morning on one of my cheapies opks so I'll follow everyone's advice and continue to test/dtd.

Well there's no denying this line... Think I just got my bfp!!
