Thanks Nim, how are you feeling about it all now? You had a CP before this one too didn't you? This is my second MC, the first was even earlier and probably borderline CP too actually. They say less 1% of people will have 3 consecutive MCs, so let's hope third time's a charm for us both! I must say I feel very nervous tho, but there's nothing to gain from worrying about what might be.
Were you offered medication as an alternative to the op? I haven't been offered that. Had a bit more spotting today, but will be amazed if it happens in full force by Tuesday (let alone be complete by then). I just want to get back to CD1!
Hello everybody else, Jam & Footy I hope this is your time, you so deserve it!
Beagles hope you're feeling better and manage your DTD target!
I'm going to go with the same pattern as when I fell, couple of warm ups, then everyday 4/5 days leading up to and on OD... I ovulate quite regularly, rarely outside of CD12-14 so luckily quite predictable. I just have this feeling I'm conceiving but my body is rejecting pregnancies Hmm

Tee4me · 01/12/2016 14:43

Amazon tests arrived in the post, blimey it's the strongest test line I've ever had on anything, appeared instantly, way before control line so hcg must still be really high! Really looking like I should be considering surgical option next week. Although spotting looker slightly pinker today.
How's everybody??

Hope AF arrives soon for you tee so u can start again. I thought they would be able to give u something like the prog pills (sure I read that on my box). Seems unfair to make u wait and drag it on.Flowers

Beagles forgot to say yesterday that your chart looks ok - don't think u have ovulated yet so it could be soon!

Jem glad u put your feet up yesterday! Liking your cozy socks! Xmas Grin
I've just put my tree up, and wrapped some presents put me in a good christmassy mood.

Today id be 11dpoStar my temp was still high at 36.78 ( usually would have started to drop)??
Attaching chart for ref..
Def looks like I did ovulate early! No sign of AF yet- due Sunday. I'm fed up of testing early so going to ride it out.. See if the temp drops in next few days.

Wow tee that is a blazer. I hope it's not until you are seeing another one of those for keeps my dear

Fx temps stay up footy with your cycle being unpredictable I always feel there could be a surprise BFP from you! Here is hoping Xmas Wink

I'm fine today. I've had the day off with DH and we've been for a good walk wrapped up, out for lunch and now going over all our mortgage details for buying this flat. All good distracting stuff!

Might also put some Christmas bits up this evening Xmas Smile

MotherOfBeagles · 01/12/2016 17:02

Ooh london sounds like you've have had a lovely day! Very envious!

footy the high temps look good. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Good plan to wait a few days. No point stressing too early. See what happens.

tee your hcg will be for a few weeks if it was anything like mine. How are you feeling today?

I'm cd15 and had another drop in my temp last night to the lowest all month (36.04 when my baseline is normally 36.15) so I think must be a sign ovulation has happened or isn't bloody far off. A bit disappointed last night. Dh got cramp Blush lol so didn't manage to have a "productive" dtd lol. But loads of watery cm today and a really high and open cervix. It's the first time I've been able to tell if open or closed. So taking that as a good sign. Going to keep dtd if no more injuries lol just in case. My temps are rocky so don't want to give up and miss out!

Tee4me · 01/12/2016 17:31

Yay Footy, nice to see temps staying up!
Ah Jam that sounds like a lovely day. We're both off all next week, so I'm hoping all this stuff gets over and done with quickly so we can enjoy at least some of it! Think we will do our Christmas decs and tree then too.
Beagles sounds like ov is imminent! I don't think many of the ladies on here check cervix, maybe we're missing a trick?! How did you learn to do it? Just lots of research I guess then trial and error making observations? Gosh could do without hcg hanging about too long!! With my last MC, I ovulated at the normal point, around 13 days after I started bleeding. I guess this time round could be different, given that it's a missed MC. I wonder if you can ovulate even if hcg is still present...

Nimisha · 01/12/2016 18:08

Hi Tee, I was offered medical management too, either on the ward or at home. I ovulated a little early compared to usual, and AF after the Mc was normal. I feel OK about everything at the moment. I did have a chemical the month before. I will have a private scan next time though as I couldn't bear it to get all the way to twelve weeks with another missed miscarriage. Of course this time there was a lot of warning signs as I had a lot of bleeding and I had already been sent for a NHS scan which was normal at 8 weeks(though only measuring 7+3) before i found out about the miscarriage at 10 weeks.

I'm thinking about having a break from TTC. I've been ill for two months and early pregnancy is so tiring. I need to get well. DH has wanted t to go on a skiing holiday which I refused as I thought I would be pregnant but maybe it would be a good idea.

Tee4me · 01/12/2016 18:35

Thanks Nim, when you say you ovulated early, was that counting the op as CD1? Did they offer any tracking of your hcg levels or did you keep taking hpts?
Really sorry to hear you've been poorly. Think a skiing holiday is a great idea and put ttc on the back burner until you feel refreshed and recharged. Am I right in thinking you have x2 DCs already? I feel like my DS isn't getting the best out of me at the moment, so whilst I'm not ready to take a break, I must start prioritising him and stop letting ttc take over everything x

Nimisha · 01/12/2016 19:54

Yes Tee, ov day after mmc was cd 12 it is normally 14 or 16. I did a few hpc tests but was negative by cd 11

radderss · 01/12/2016 20:37

Tee just catching up - so sorry for your loss. I am absolutely gutted. Sending you loads of hugs xxx

Hello to everyone else. I still keep watching out for bfps xxx

Footy1 · 01/12/2016 21:26

Hey radders hope u are well?

It's easy to let it take over your life tee/Nim
Think the trauma and emotions are exhausting. I've tried to be relaxed as possible but it's hard to control it when u want it so bad.
Sorry to hear u have been unwell Nim, you must get better to gain the energy back for ttc. FlowersBrewCake

Tmi alert!
So I've finally resulted in checking my cervix. A first for me..
No idea what I was doing but anyway it's def soft and low as could feel it easy. Creamy cm too up there!
Not sure what that means so going to google!
??

MotherOfBeagles · 01/12/2016 22:16

Cervix checking was quite simple to start. Clean scrubbed fingers. Good position and longest finger. Sitting on the toilet is usually the best. Don't do it in the morning or after laying down too long and try and do the same time of day each time. You will need to do it for a full cycle to get used to what yours does.

It feels like a fat sort of thumb shape and will vary in height and firmness. But every woman is different and feels different. I started by checking mine daily to get used to it and now every few days. It's not an exact science obviously and can be tricksy but it's a handy extra tool to use. I used this website a lot to get used to it - warning though it is very intimate photos but nothing pornographic, just internal. beautifulcervix.com/cervix-photo-galleries/

I do my cheapie opks and cervix check after work each day. Usually been an hour or so since I've drank and in a handy private place at home so it works well.

Ah footy you've joined the cervix club! Lol. You doing well to keep yourself distracted?

tee I'm sure your dh understands but you should take some time for you two when you are feeling back on track. I hope your ovulation gets going quick I had a full cycle messed up by it but the doc said that was unusual.

nim the holiday sounds like a lovely idea. I know we hate hearing it. But relaxing and taking time for yourselves is the best thing you can do. Even though it sometimes seems impossible.

MotherOfBeagles · 01/12/2016 22:19

I have to say it came in handy when gynae visits and smear test though as my cervix is slight tilted and off to the side so it's tougher for them to get it. I could explain this and made it much less uncomfortable and easy to do. As creepy as that sounds.

Footy1 · 02/12/2016 10:30

Beagles that website is amazing! I didn't realise half of that! Crazy.. Will be checking all the time now.

Woken up with a temp of 36.81 today! 12dpoBut also a few cramps. ?
With the temp still being high I do feel like it's getting my hopes up, but think I'm being silly to even begin to get hopes up as it would be v unlikely.

Londonjam · 02/12/2016 10:40

Sorry you've been unwell nim. Getting yourself strong and enjoying a holiday sounds like a great idea. Get yourself in a good position to have a lovely healthy pregnancy .

Tee wouldn't blame you for wanting a break too, or a more relaxed approach. Giving your LO some tlc also, I'll bet he is excited for Christmas.

Footy beagles good luck with your cervix tracking, I don't think I could be tempted to keep this up!

6 DPO today and hoping that a little zygote is looking for a home. Seems unlikely on my track record! Sad

MotherOfBeagles · 02/12/2016 14:29

It is interesting! Lol weird and graphic but interesting. They keep adding loads of new ones on though and new bits of information so is quite interesting.

Cd16 and I think my temps have forgotten what they are supposed to do. So really bloody confused. Opks are quite strong for me though so just going to try and dtd as much as I can.

It's a fine line footy of being realistic and optimistic at the same time lol. Fingers still crossed for you!

jam don't let past cycles influence you. Got to try and keep reminding yourself each month is new and different. Although it's not bloody easy! Sending some unmumsnet baby dust.

Footy1 · 02/12/2016 19:41

So my friend has just announced she's pregnant. I'm so pleased for her. She's been trying for 18 months and had an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in her losing one of her Fallopian tubes. So really thrilled she has now got pregnant and is 3 months. The only thing she did differently was sex during the day as they both worked from home for a bit! So that's it.. I'm going to demand DH to come home for some er... Lunch?! BlushHalo

Footy1 · 03/12/2016 06:26

13dpoStar

So temp is still high 36.73, have sensitive nipples now and some very likely AF cramps. Was quite hot in the night. Feeling a bit down already just waiting for AF.

I just know it's coming.. Those AF pains are like pains of doom.

physicskate · 03/12/2016 08:05

footy could those not be ov pains? As I recall, your temp rose considerably yesterday??

Waves to everyone. AF 'late' over here (cd 35, avg 33, but anywhere from 28-38 days in the last year), but that's to be expected with all the stress of this month. Pregnancy unlikely, but no idea when I ov'd. Lost my voice this week and we've also been a sicky household. Things very very bad at work. Lots of anger, stress, sadness. This has been a bad bad month...

Tee4me · 03/12/2016 09:19

Footy sounds like you have more positive signs there than negative?? When do you think you'll test?? Really hoping you get your Christmas bfp.
Jam hope a little bean is getting comfortable!
Beagles keep DTD if there's any uncertainty! I agree with Footy, December is a great time to get pregnant, I also fell with DS 5 years ago over Christmas week.

DH and I DTD last night, I wondered if that might stimulate my uterus into action. Sure enough there was a lot of pink mixed in with the swimmers (had previously been brown) and lots of pink residue at every visit to the toilet after... nothing overnight or this morning so far though. My body reeeeeally doesn't want to let go it seems!! Just wish they could do the op sooner than next Friday!

Londonjam · 03/12/2016 10:00

Eurgh kate that sounds rotten bet Xmas can't come soon enough

Hang in there footy you never know what's around the corner Flowers

Really hope you don't have to wait until next Friday tee I'm a bit aghast they keep people waiting that long really

I've got sore boobs and really emotional and a bit anxious. Absolute textbook PMS but it's too soon to know anything at 7 DPO xx

MotherOfBeagles · 03/12/2016 10:16

Ugh. What the hell is my body doing?! Thought I ovulated two days ago. Temps went slightly up then usually jump. But nooo plummeting again! Wtf? Seriously.

jam that could also mean a bfp song give up yet!

tee sounds horrible having to wait that long. I really hope it happens as quickly and as easily as it can.

kate that's horrible, sorry to hear you've had such a bad month. Get your feet up with a glass of something this weekend if you can Wine

footy ugh that sucks but still keeping fingers crossed for you! Also lunch sounds like a good plan Grin

Tee4me · 03/12/2016 10:26

Kate I seemed to miss your message! That really sucks, sorry to hear things have been so shit. It's unbearable when work gets like that, it takes over your life. I used to feel like that with an old job, it's the worst thing when you dread going in every morning. Keep focused on Christmas. You might get a surprise bfp! x

Footy1 · 03/12/2016 19:15

Sorry to hear you have been really stressed Kate. Hoping u get a good break when school is finished for this term.
Yes I def think I ovulated 13 days ago. Temps have been way high since. Not like last month when they were low.

Oh beagles, this is like my cycle last time. I kept trying to ovulate. Have u had anymore positive opks? Any other signs?

Had cramps again - they're def getting worse so think AF will hit me in the next 24hrs. It is looking great on chart but I can't ignore these AF cramps signalling its arrival soon. Very moody today also.
Longest set of high temps though??
On a positive note .. At least I did ovulate. And a normal AF might make ovulation a little bit more predictable next time. Hmmph
If I'm lucky enough to escape it by tomorrow I'll test. Will keep u all posted.

Tee4me · 03/12/2016 19:59

Really hope AF doesn't get you Footy! I hate when the cramps creep in. Lots of people still get them before a bfp don't they? Will be interested in tomorrow morning's temp! Does you skin feel hot?
Bleeding has now set in. Nothing major, like a usual CD1, perhaps slightly lighter. Sort of glad it's starting to happen naturally... BUT if I go on to have the op next Friday (if they decide there are more 'retained products' to remove) I guess I'd be CD7 by then? I could ovulate a few days later, but you're not supposed to DTD in the days following the op. Hmmm, I don't want to wait another cycle before trying Hmm
