Ah Jem, dont throw your hopes away just yet. I can't differentiate the difference between progesterone hormones and pregnancy - when I thought I was I wasn't.
Still nothing my end.. So we are both on a low together I'm sure. FlowersWine

Tee4me · 11/10/2016 08:27

Brilliant Russ!
I'm so sorry Jem, it's so hard. Perhaps you will feel better when you get the ball rolling with some tests? It's horrible when you feel that AF approach dip, I used to see it in my temps getting lower each day. It's almost nicer to stay in a hopeful bubble and have AF appear out of the blue. Don't forget that early pregnancy and pre AF symptoms can be identical. Parney was adamant AF would appear any second.
I agree the wait is getting unbearable now though. If we fell this cycle, what a lovely Christmas announcement we'd have. I've spent the whole year thinking about all the passing occasions I could make 'the announcement'. Let's hope 2017 is kinder. I've almost resigned myself to thinking it will happen in the New Year when the building work on my house is all finished. Chin up Flowers

physicskate · 11/10/2016 08:28

No denying it russ! It's there in pink and white!!

Jem- how very frustrating. I totally get it. My freak out after cycle 6 happened. It can take perfectly healthy couples up to two years. But I wish knowing that would help...

Cd 17. Loads of Ewcm this morning. Dtd last night. Snowy white opk yesterday (I normally get dark lines for two days or so before a positive). May or may not ov soon? Damn you irregular cycles!!

Got info bout interview on Friday. Not too pleased with the topic for the 25 mins of a lesson. Any ideas how to make efficiency fun??? Yeah... I didn't have any either...

Russkispy · 11/10/2016 08:36

Forgot to mention when doing blood test yesterday, that was CD27, 14 dpo

ps2304 · 11/10/2016 08:56

Congrats Russ!!

Russkispy · 11/10/2016 09:13

Thank you, PS!! i should have said 14 days after IUI. My brain is completely frazzled!

LondonJem · 11/10/2016 09:23

Thrilled for you russ was that your first go at IUI?

Thanks for your support lovelies, having major hormonal wobble / meltdown. Will bounce back xxx

OP posts:
Russkispy · 11/10/2016 09:37

Yes, Jem, our very first IUI!
Try to stay strong Jem. I know it's all words but you're not alone and girls on here understand each other and support one another! Sending big hugs!!!

LondonJem · 11/10/2016 10:12

I will love. I'm encouraged by your success! I may be in touch about Riga if we go down this route.

Jem, my Riga clinic is so nice! people are just so caring! My Dr is so so nice, I'm naturally drawn to her and my coordinator/nurse. Can't recommend them enough.
Just back from acupuncturist, she gave me hugs! And it's very happy for me! I'll continue seeing her and she now changed treatment because I'm pregnant. And it will continue till I'm 20 weeks pregnant. I fell asleep and snored hahaha she's very happy with my strongbox pregnant pulse and told me which foods to add and what vitamins/supplement to drop. Tomorrow I'm having 2nd round of HCG and progesterone blood tests done as per my clinic's instructions. I'm feeling good but still in total disbelief

LondonJem · 11/10/2016 18:14

Hurrah! Enjoy every minute russ you've waited a long time for this Flowers

Parney · 11/10/2016 22:44

Wonderful news Russ! Have you worked out an EDD? Will it be a summer baba? How lovely! I'm delighted everything worked out.

Tee I hope you get to make your Christmas announcement, it would be lovely!

Jem sorry to hear about your GM, stressful times.

Good luck with the interview Kate.

Russkispy · 12/10/2016 11:04

Thanks Parney! Yes, I believe it would be some time in June. I haven't looked at the calendar etc as trying to take it easy with it all. Mind you, I'm still in shock! Must go careful and hopefully it sticks for this first trimester before I can fully relax.

Footy1 · 12/10/2016 13:17

cd1Star cycle 7

No pains, no cramps no hormonal feelings.. Just appeared out of nowhere. So it's possible it was a chemical with that test I took at 9dpo or an evaporation line. Anyway.. Can't change things now.

Let's hope cycle 7 is a lucky one for me. Back on the roundabout ladies.. Tactics this cycle is-
Clomid from tomorrow, opks, temping, kiwi, gym, swimming, early nights, 800 calories per day, preseed and dtd every other day from cd4 and everyday from positive opk.

Footy1 · 12/10/2016 13:19

Summer baby would be lovely Russ! Fingers crossed you have an easy pregnancy.

Tee, I too wanted a Christmas announcement! Could poss still get it?

Tee4me · 12/10/2016 14:15

Sorry Footy but glad you're now clear where you are. I think 7 will be lucky for you and I love your tactics!! So following those next month if not successful. Really hope we are though, got a Doctors letter saying the 'assisted conception unit' have asked me to have more generic tests before I'm accepted... smear, chlamydia swab, third blood test. Also for DH to do his bit. Urgh, if it happens this month we can abandon all that!
CD12 so far DTD 5, 9, 10, 11. Can tell DH is flagging, but he's less flippant about missing days now. Told him today and tomorrow are peak days, and he seems committed. Had positive opks yesterday and today, but still not a peak (second line appears instantly and dark than control). Only x1 left again, will use tonight and hope I catch it.

Nimisha · 12/10/2016 14:38

Hi all,

Congratulations Russ, that great news. I really think footy you had a chemical and that it will be your month this month.

Tee I hope you get your positive OPK today. Good on DH for being more reliable this month.

Footy1 · 12/10/2016 16:37

Hope it works this cycle!
Tee, I had to have those but luckily they did it with my smear test. DH hasn't had to have anything though. I guess because my ovulation wasn't regular and predictable they immediately suggested clomid.

Was reading something on too much vit c for ladies.. Can make you bleed heavy and clotty. Can make AF arrive early. Thought I'd mention it for those with heavy periods.

Nim- how u doing? When is your scan? Have u told anyone yet?

Footy1 · 12/10/2016 16:40

Kate, sorry no ideas whatsoever for your topic on Friday., hope it goes well.

Jem- how u today? Did AF arrive? X

Nimisha · 12/10/2016 17:04

Thanks foot, Scan was fine, lovely to see a heartbeat. I'm measuring earlier than I thought (7 and a half rather than 8 weeks). Still got spotting though.

I've volunteered for a trial for progesterone in early pregnancy for women who have been bleeding but I don't know if I'm getting progesterone or placebo.

Good luck Kate how's the interview prep going?

Russkispy · 12/10/2016 18:01

Thanks Nim! Glad your scan went well!

Had my second bout of HCG and progesterone blood test and got results. The levels went up significantly from yesterday. progesterone is 176.5 and HCG is 324.8. I know I'm pregnant but the news hasn't sunk in yet! Tomorrow will be seeing a GP and will take it from there.

LondonJem · 12/10/2016 18:09

Sounds like a plan footy 👍🏼
If it was a CP I hope it's your body's way of saying it's ready. Fx for lucky number 7 for you

Great work tee really hope BFP comes and you can forget testing. I've got my GP appointment booked next Friday...

Great news about your scan nim

No sign of AF yet, she's officially due tomorrow. My boobs are still really sore - that's usually gone by now - and I don't have lower back ache, which I always get pre- AF. So I'm symptom spotting and scared now Confused if AF comes it'll floor me Sad
