Arghhhh footy this is so frustrating for you! Don't rule a BFP out yet though.

GD is gestational diabetes London.

I don't think I'm that far along Parney. I think maybe 25 weeks. They have booked me in for a growth scan in December. I guess baby will come when baby is ready and if they think he/she is huge in January I will press then for induction. The thoughts of a massive baby terrify me.

Footy1 · 06/10/2016 13:57

The IC tests just arrived, tried one with FMU and was bfn, tried another with fresh urine and also a bfn. Snowy white!! So confused.. The boots one from this morning I can't see a coloured line -think it's the evaporation line. Give up!

Sick with disappointment. Such a cruel game, that I've had enough. Will wait til Monday if not get bloods done ready to start a new cycle. Sad

LondonJem · 06/10/2016 15:22

Oh footy I was so sure Sad I wish I could give you a big hug. Could you ask for a blood test to know for sure?

OP posts:
Footy1 · 06/10/2016 15:38

The line came up within the correct time frame this is what gets me. Never noticed evap lines before on the 20 I've peed on. So unfair.

Still got watery/creamy cm. Unless the clomid can cause false tests? Will speak to doctor on Monday.

LondonJem · 06/10/2016 18:23

It really does look like a BFP, I wouldn't have thought that was an evap line. How cruel Sad I'm hoping it's still too early footy FlowersFlowersFlowers

Lovely scan pics jodSmile
Sending hugs your way footFlowersFlowers.still think you have a chance of getting a clearer bfp in a few days fx

Hie jem tee nim kate parney psCake.l honestly don't know what Mother Nature has against me .but ttc is getting tiring..

Parney · 06/10/2016 19:28

Hi Mimi, how are you? I'd say you're just sick of it, hopefully you'll be rewarded soon.
Jod did you get GD results?
Foot, my BFN was an IC on 11dpo. Snow White! Really think you'll have clearer tests soon.
Where in your cycle are you Jem?

Footy1 · 06/10/2016 19:38

This was yesterday's test in a black and white and highlights, just to reassure myself I wasn't seeing things. Yes half of me keeps saying wait few more days but the other half is saying it was a evap and not anything.

Been in the worst mood all day, and quite tearful. Just when u think u can jump of the roundabout (great analogy Jem btw) something pushes u back on. Sad** thankyou ladies for your encouragement today xx

Hope it's not GD for you Jodders, sure it's just your dates wrong. I love seeing their little noses in those scans.

Footy1 · 06/10/2016 19:40

Oops I forgot to add the picture. Doh!

Yesterday's first test in different exposure..
Just to reassure I wasn't seeing things.

LondonJem · 06/10/2016 20:07

It's definitely there love. I can't even how incredibly frustrating it must be to not replicate it today. I really really hope it's just early and you could still get a BFP hon FlowersFlowersFlowers

OP posts:
Footy1 · 07/10/2016 07:17

Bfn over here. Not testing anymore as think it was just a fluke test. Temp dropped today quite a bit.

Mimi- I too am tired of the disappointment also. The way things are for me at home is maybe someone telling me it's not a good time.

Hope everyone is ok, look forward to hearing the gender of your bub Jodders.

Footy1 · 07/10/2016 07:18

Read online about the Internet cheapies and loads of people have also had these false positives. So that's my theory.

Tee4me · 07/10/2016 08:11

Really sorry Footy FlowersFlowersFlowersFlowersFlowers
I think there is still a glimmer of hope, but you have the right attitude to put it to the back of your mind to avoid this ongoing heartbreak and confusion. Really hope it still happens for you and things sort themselves out at home with DH. TTC is so stressful it's impossible for your relationship to go completely unscathed! I know pregnancy won't make everything perfect, but I can't help thinking we'll all be so much happier in our work/relationships when it finally happens... just feels like a hanging black cloud at the moment Sad Chin up, this will happen. Maybe another course of Clomid will tip the balance for you if no joy this cycle. Massive hugs x

LondonJem · 07/10/2016 08:38

So sorry footy it's so cruel to have your hopes up then dashed like this. Shifting your focus to making things better at home sounds really positive. You've had the incredible bad luck of two duff tests - so here's hoping it's third time lucky and the next second line is the real deal. FlowersFlowersFlowers

Tee you are right about the dark cloud, and about the pressure this puts on our rellies. This year has been the toughest we've had, I don't think we've ever fallen out this much. It's a gruelling process when it's something we want so much and have no control over.

Hugs all round FlowersFlowersFlowers

Thanks ladies, you all have been my Star's through this journey.

Saw gp. Got a lecture for testing too early anyway. She thinks the clomid didn't work this month as it would have worked sooner going by the previous two months at ovulating at cd10-12. Got to wait a few days then can start the pills if nothing has happened. She didn't give me a preg test as said was too soon at 11dpo! Their tests wouldn't show up until way after AF is due. She said I can just start clomid if I want or bring on AF first after I test at 14dpo and beyond. Both have the pros and cons. Clomid makes your lining thin, so it's better to have thick spongy lining. AF will shed the lining so without knowing what condition my lining is in I have no idea what's best. She left for me to decide Hmm

"H" is away until next Friday, so I need to work out dates and best time etc.. U know.. X

Hope all is well for you girls. I agree I'd be so much a happier person once it happened. X

LondonJem · 07/10/2016 16:10

If I were you footy I would hang on a few days at least and see if AF comes. If she comes then you'll have a better idea how your womb lining is / how heavy your bleed is. I hope you feel like better having spoken to your GP.

It's all very well her telling you off too - but what would she do if she had unpredictable cycles! Plus you need to test to make sure your not pregnant before you take clomid no?

Keep your chin up lovely, this will all be a bad dream hopefully soon FlowersFlowersFlowers

LondonJem · 07/10/2016 16:12

I've indulged in a bit of symptom spotting today! Having said I wouldn't Hmm

I've got;
Sore boobs
Windy
Tummy pains early this morning
Very emotional - had massive sobbing crying fit earlier - haven't had one of these in a while!

I think that's about it. 8 DPO and less then a week left of TWW. Eurgh.

Tee4me · 07/10/2016 17:27

Unsympathetic Doctors are the pits! I agree give AF a few days to arrive naturally (if it is going to!)
Sorry you're going through this WineBrewCakeChocolateFlowers
Looking good on the symptoms front Jem, this is the nerve wracking part!

AF has left the building here and approaching FW. Will start early with DTD as I ovulated CD11 last month! Got a print out of all my blood results, so tonight's job is to research what the hell any of it means. If any of you ladies have an understanding of what's what, let me know!!
CD21 results
Progesterone >30nmol/L - consistent with ovulation.
So that's obviously good, but don't know if I should be looking at any other figures?!
CD7 results
Serum FSH level 6.7 iu/L
Serum LH level 4.1 iu/L

  • loads of other figures, but again, no idea what I need to look at. If I can't make sense from google, will have to wait for the Doctor to explain in 3 weeks. Both results say no action required, so I assume within normal range, but I'd still like to understand where exactly I'm falling within 'normal' x
Footy1 · 07/10/2016 18:17

Tee those results are def good news. Ok, so here I go-

Fsh levels need to be between 5-12 to be considered able to get IVF & fertility help. The normal range for FSH is under 12 to be healthy and fertile, over 12 is perimenopause and over 40 suggests menopause.
So all good there. My fsh was 6.5.

LH - thats normal.
if it's too high it means you will get numerous surges in the month which can suggest pcos. So ovulation will be difficult. Mine is 6, which is why I get a few surges in a month. Normal is between 2-6

Progesterone has to be over 15 up to 80 to ovulate. A higher number is better. Mine was 20 which they said I had ovulated but they missed my peak. They base this tests on day 21 of cycle and assuming ovulation on cd14. So basically I ovulated that month on day 8 so if I had the blood test sooner than day 21 it would have been higher. I reckon yours would have been higher at the right time as u say u ovulated earlier.

All looks good Tee! :))) you don't need to worry xx

Tee4me · 07/10/2016 18:59

Oh footy you are such a StarStarStar!
Saves me a job tonight having it broken down like that! So relieved all is looking normal. Just that scan to get out of the way now. I know if things drag on much longer I may have to involve DH in testing, but I really think secondary infertility is more likely to be down to a woman than a man? He's upduffed me twice, so to me that shows he has decent swimmers, that can't really change over the course of a few years can it?! Whereas with women, all sorts of new issues can pop up to interfere... I know that's a very sweeping statement, but I always thought it was more likely me than him, especially after the MC and subsequent dodgy periods. Hoping that's all behind me after a textbook period this time Grin

Footy1 · 07/10/2016 19:22

It's probably neither him or you. It's just luck!
I've had a full MOT and nothing working this end.. Really is just luck. Just keep doing what you are doing and I'm sure we will hit the jackpot soon X

Invited out for a drink and though yes please.. I'll just have a couple. Need to escape and be in girl company for a change.

Nimisha · 08/10/2016 18:12

Footy, that positive test was there. I think it was a chemical which would be a very good thing. Meaning that the swimmers meet the egg, just this time it wasn't to be. If it was a chemical then AF will arrive shortly.

Footy1 · 08/10/2016 19:09

I don't know Nim, felt rough all day with cramps and that feeling again of a UTI brewing. Foul smelling urine which is so cloudy... Still loads of cm. Feels like I'm having trouble urinating. Feel like im bursting but it comes out really slow and only a small amount. Tried an IC which was bfn. If pain gets worse overnight I might need a trip to a medical centre tomorrow.
Doesn't burn like a UTI though?? Can't wait for this week to end!!!

How are u nim? Anymore spotting?

Jem, anymore symptoms?

physicskate · 08/10/2016 19:42

Footy, there was a line!!! Sorry you are feeling rough... definitely go to medical centre if you suspect UTI... are they open tomorrow?

Well I got the interview for the new job. It's Friday, so I have all week to get nervous and anxious. Hurray!! Cd 14 no fertile CM yet (still sticky sorry TMI)... I reckon extreme stress in the early days of this cycle will make it a long one... AGAIN.

Hope everyone's well!
