Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Meant dpo not dpi!

LondonJem · 27/09/2016 08:01

mummy I love getting a positive OPK too Smile it's the only joy I get out of POAS!

inspector hello welcome back sorry you got such a rubbish reception from your GP, is it worth seeing another one? I suppose he/she must think you have a perfectly good shot without intervention, on the other hand?

nicky exactly the same as me. I've had 9 regular cycles timing DTD around ovulation - and nada. Are you awaiting test results? Fx it's all okay and just Mother Nature taking its time

Fx you get in with your GP pug if you're anything like me starting investigation is a relief but also quite daunting. alexia are you considering this route too? We can all support each other along

Bless your oh skipper

Morning all!
Went AWOL as had some holiday booked (just stayed in the UK) and wanted to forget about all this ttc malarkey as much as poss. It was just after AF so had spa treatments and drank a lot! Back to being t total and waiting for the big O. I only use the clear blue fertility monitors and am still "low" but hoping for a high tomorrow.

Am i right in thinking you can't use an ear thermometer for temping? wondering whether to start but not sure if it would add an extra stress.

Moose congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!

DH wants to "research" the different clinics before booking in for a SA so thinks it's going to be another month before he actually does anything about it.

Welcome newbies

DogMadDaisy · 27/09/2016 08:08

i mean ear temperature - wasn't suggesting using the ear thermometer somewhere else.........

LondonJem · 27/09/2016 08:11

Had a bit of an emotional morning Blush DH going into work getting back Thursday - ovulation due Thursday/Friday for me. We planned to DTD this morning and Thursday morning, but he couldn't do it this am. Too stressed, time pressured, upset about the SA results too. I got upset and pointed out that means we miss Tuesday and Wednesday - the two days in run up to O. He eventually called in sick and is cross and upset with me.

I feel really bad. But the longer this goes on the more stressful it gets. As soon as it happens we can forget scheduled sex, OPK, conversations about IVF, gp appointments and all this shit.

If he's not in the same country as me when I'm fertile then it's just not going to happen. So we can DTD all week now but I feel very guilty BlushSad

sk1pper · 27/09/2016 08:36

music - 8dpo also! AF due Sunday. Is it true women just 'know' when they are pregnant? I feel same as ever to be honest :(

Dog - not sure re the ear thermometer but id personally get a proper BBT thermometer just to be sure I was doing it correctly.

London - sounds like he wants to make you happy but is finding it quite stressful, men always have a different way of dealing with situations. Hope you get through this rough patch xx

DogMadDaisy · 27/09/2016 08:52

London - oh what awful timing! Now that he is staying I hope you can find some time as a couple to have a nice dinner/film and takeaway, have a cuddle and talk about something other than ttc for a bit. (DTD as well! but it doesn't have to be all about that).

LondonJem · 27/09/2016 09:12

I'm going to try and make it up to him this evening, sort out a nice dinner and maybe even a back rub / massage. We are both totally hooked on Stranger Things so a couple of those should distract us! Anyone else watching?

if i didn't know better, i would say I was ovulating ..... Sad

Also, think i might be the oldest/longest serving member of this group ? Sad

Art you had a bfp according to my notes??? I had a lot of EWCM! bleeding in early pregnancy is common especially as things move to make room, and biology stuff happens. Many women have some level of bleeding and have perfectly healthy pregnancies.

I had EWCM (with a tiny bit of pink/fresh blood) before and after my scan which showed a healthy heartbeat.

there are more experience ladies on the grads thread. But I wouldn't worry too much about this.

If you have bleeding, you can check with your midwife. If you don't have one yet ask your gp for advice.

HepKestrel · 27/09/2016 10:37

ah bollocks ignore my last post !!!! accidently replied to a post on page 1 !!!! but at least we know now Art was seeing implantation bleeding !

Hep how come you can't dtd?

Jem I do feel for the both of you, it's such a difficult process.

HepKestrel · 27/09/2016 11:38

Alice advice from consultant after surgical mc. My understanding is that you are at risk from infection until everything is back to normal. Especially as the drugs etc open the cervix up...

So she told me 14 days before dtd. She said the official advice is waiting till AF before ttc, but if I don't wait that long, I should at least wait 4-6 weeks.

so clearly I am taking that to be 4 weeks Wink Or rather I just want to have stress free (possible?) dtd as soon as possible.

...so 3 days before dtd, 17days before ttc. Neither OH or I have been in the mood since the first ultrasound...... which was a while ago now !

(see you all on the new thread)

kwick · 29/09/2016 21:48
