Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Congratulations Art I hope everything goes smoothly for you.

I'm sorry to hear that peaches that's got to be really difficult for you. I agree that the exercise will help. I always feel more emotionally stable and in control when I'm running regularly.

Peaches8Posies · 15/09/2016 10:57

Thanks ladies. Where I live there's lots of lovely green areas, parks etc... getting your stride on outside and tunning out from the world does you the world of good I think. I've just bought some rather crazy running leggings but they are soo comfy I don't even care what my arse looks like in them Grin

sk1pper · 15/09/2016 12:20

Peaches - if you run really fast, no one will have time to notice your arse. Though I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, I always admire runners when I see them no matter what shape or size they are. You'll feel great doing it and that's what counts.

Congrats art x

LovelyFishy · 15/09/2016 13:14

Congratulations Art!

So had my follow-up appointment for high hormone - it was prolactin. Good news is it has actually come down a lot since my last test, nearly back in normal ranges. It would only impede ovulation if it were consistently high and won't be a problem for pregnancy.

It's so good to see so many posts from so many of you recently, thinking of you all and wishing you the best!

kwick · 15/09/2016 14:02

sk1pper · 15/09/2016 16:19

I've just had a call from clear view to do that clinical trial they are offering on the conception forum. I'm going to give it a go, you get some kit to track your ovulation during the trial and then I think you get to keep it afterwards. Haven't got much to loose...except potential cross contamination by storing urine samples in my fridge. ;)

HepKestrel · 15/09/2016 16:33

ooh skip ! keep us posted

Binkybunny13 · 15/09/2016 17:21

Hi all, sorry have been quiet last few days.

Congrats art and thinking of you hep. Hope everyone else is hanging on in there?

I had a slight crazy episode the other day when I burst into tears on my DH when he said he was too tired to DTD..he was very patient with me but also reminded me that he loves me, and that even if we could never have a baby he would have a wonderful life with me. Which I guess was a bit of a wake up call- I hadn't thought how i might make him feel a bit shit with all the baby focus, like I'd only married him for his juices!

So, am now in the 2ww but didn't DTD in FW as much as I'd hoped so realistically think I'm out this cycle. But hoping to be a bit more composed next one.. Wink

Good luck to all imminently testing! X

LovelyFishy · 15/09/2016 17:39

Thanks Nicky. I think it has finally sunk in, except I had a tiny bit of brown spotting earlier - more obvious because I was wearing white knickers, doh! Nothing since, and while I know this can be perfectly normal I'm now quite shaken! I'm going to have to re-claim my zen, nothing to do but wait...

sk1pper · 15/09/2016 17:41

Lovely - I've read a lot about spotting in early pregnancy. Mainly when I've been trying to distinguish AF symptoms from pg symptoms. Brown spotting is absolutely fine because brown means it's old blood. I know what you mean though, is probably be freaking out too despite this knowledge.

kwick · 15/09/2016 18:30

binky your DH story made me cry... He sounds lovely.

lovely hang in there!

Absolutely shattered, still sans lunch... Desperate for food!!! Have another early start tomorrow (4.30am) and then my afternoon of skiving has been scrapped as when I land back in Blighty have back to back calls for the rest of the day....

DogMadDaisy · 15/09/2016 19:28

Alexia - thanks for the link, will take a look at Create!

hep - can you add me to the bus for 14/10? argh that feels like ages away

Just opened a nice bottle of Wine. DH is away with work so more for me! Got to make the most of AF. Took it all out on DH this morning via passive aggressive texts (my forte) because he said "he thinks everything will be ok". I do hope it will be but hate the disappointment each month. I have spent a lot of time putting other people first and now i selfishly want my time to come.
There - rant over (for now)

DogMadDaisy · 15/09/2016 19:32

kwick - your day at work sounds like a nightmare! i hope it isn't like that all the time. I hear you re new job. Summer is my least stressful time of year so was hoping it would help things along...

DogMadDaisy · 15/09/2016 19:45

Just catching up on the board game bit of the thread:

  • Fungi is a fun card based game
  • DH and i really like pandemic. We tried to get the MIL to play it a couple of years ago at Christmas and it was a disaster, she was sooo bored
  • also recommend love letter as a quick game
On the subject of computer games: Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle have been remastered. DH and i played them over the summer for a bit of nostalgia
HepKestrel · 15/09/2016 21:38

LondonJem · 16/09/2016 04:37

Dogmaddaisy I could have written your post about passive aggressive texts and you DH saying "it will be fine" word for word! I feel like that's all DH says! Which is frustrating as he doesn't actually know that and I would appreciate more knowing how he really thinks and feels. Grrrrrrr

Will be thinking of you today hep FlowersFlowersFlowersFlowersFlowers

LondonJem · 16/09/2016 04:39
