Thanks MrsCW86, Bobo and Cookie22 for the welcome. I am on cd28 and 8dpo, not hopeful as my I think I am starting to feel the signs of af. But my cycle is so irregular from 28 days to 46 that I never know when I am late.

Johno85 know how you feel wanting a normal 28 day cycle. I can't be the only person who has done the head calculation going 28 days cycle equal roughly 12 chances for a bfp in a year but a 45 day cycle is only 8..... maybe just me being ridiculous.

At 32 turning 33 in December just feels like time is running out.

Mild backache and cramps for me this afternoon... On my right side. Bit of a headache too actually.

Got to try and find the energy to go to the gym tonight I've been slacking and I need to get back into it! Might help keep me somewhat sane! Just really don't fancy it...

Sarah, how are you feeling symptom wise? Anything to report? Can't wait to hear about the scan! I'm sure it will all be fine x

Aw, thank you Luci! Symptom-wise I've not had a huge amount yet. My boobs have gone massive and I've not had a lot of energy, but no nausea or morning sickness really yet so not been feeling too bad. I think that's what's making me nervous... If I was puking all the time I'd probably be satisfied everything was OK! The spotting I was having seems to have cleared up today which is good.

Thanks everyone! It's got me all worked up now 😩 I really hope I'm not ov'ing again but I reckon I probably am 😔 Obviously haven't been dtd and will probably bloody miss it now... That's if I even release an egg!! Can't wait for my gp appointment now! I have more reasons for suspecting pcos.

other ic and use the opks in the mean time. If they turn negative we know I'm not pg 😔

I'm in my first cycle after 7 years on the pill and I'm a bit confused about what to do next. My app says on a normal cycle I'd be due af on Sunday. DH and I have been dtd unprotected so there's a chance (however small) it could have worked. As it's my first cycle though I'm pretty sure I won't come on when the app says I likely will. Do I do a hpt at the weekend/next week or just wait and see if af arrives anytime?

Kaisha, I'm same as you. I'm on first cycle after coming off pill after 10 years. My Ovia app says if I'm on a normal cycle I'll be due af on Friday, but no idea how likely that is to happen! Getting backache and headache makes me think it might tho!

I'm going to do a hpt on Friday as I'm going out and want to drink.

bb- you're not alone. I've done the count and am completely with you. My longest has been 48, shortest 31. It sucks. Sending virtual hug

bobo if ignore that silly test. Going by my average LP and AF's unwelcome arrival I worked out my "ov date" was later than I thought and I just can't think that's true as all the ewcm was gone and no symptoms. It must work both ways.

Maybe we should just get drunk for a whole month and dtd when smashed- seems to work for the Jeremy Kyle lot!

Bobo Fingers crossed for you. My app is predicting af on Thursday so if not here by the weekend will do a hpt. But it is taking all my will power not to so one every morning.

I had bloods done last month and even though I had a positive on a opk the GP said it did not look like I had ovulate and to come back in a couple of months for more tests. Sometimes wish my local would be a bit more understanding.

I think I did bobo - although it's all new to me. I had cramping in my right side for a day, I was so tired for a few days and had been bloating rather badly. I think I will do a test Saturday to see... I don't want to get my hopes up though.

Johno pmsl!! Maybe we could all go on Jeremy Kyle, there must be something in the water over there?! If nothing else it would save us each a fiver as all guests seem to end up poas...

AF has come with venom- this is seriously the worst I've had since coming off the pill. Awful cramps- but like ov cramps as well, bbs are unhappy, back ache which I never get and I'm emotional wreck! Let's hope this is the body restarting itself. Anyone poas today? bobo how are your symptoms coming along?

I'm finally back from down under. Lucky I got af whilst over there really because I don't normally drink but went on wine tasting tours and ate out and drank lots! 🍷😌
Have finally caught up (I think). Welcome BBS! And I'm the same as you in that as I have 41 day cycles I also feel cheated that I only have 8 possible chances each year of getting pg instead of 12. 1 egg is all it takes though so fx for us!
Johno- I'm very much up for the Jeremy Kyle saga. They must be the most fertile people on the planet! I want to join their club!
Luci I was exactly the same as you when coming off the pill. I was on it for 11 years and as soon as I came off it I was googling everything. I thought I'd get pregnant after first shag- didn't even know about ovulating and there being a 12-24 hour window 😳🙄🤔

Although dtd last night and it really hurt in a certain position 🐶🙈 never had that before, felt like bruised cervix. Maybe it's been taking a battering from all the bd'ing?! 😂🙊

Maybe you've ov'd then if no cm? Or af is on its way! It's normal to dry up down there before af

Kaisha it depends how many dpo you are but as you don't know you could test onfriday with a cheapie test so your not wasting money 😊

If my tracker is right I'll be 13 dpo as I logged when I had my most symptoms. I'm just afraid of dashing my hopes even though I'm only cycle 1

I don't mean this in a bad way my lovely (and this applies to any of our cycle 1'ers) and obviously I hope you get your bfp 1st try but you need to come to terms with the fact it may take a few cycles or possibly more. It's much better to look at each tww with a 'it'll most likely be another bfn but wouldn't a bfp be a nice suprise' attitude 😄 And don't hold off testing because you don't want to see a bfn as I find that just makes things ten times worse! But I have fx for you 😄

I've got a banging headache again this evening, 2nd night in a row. Defo signs of af... Just wish she'd show her ugly face already so I can get on with it!

I've told myself to chill out a bit now, getting worked up over everything on cycle 1 isn't going to help anything, it could take a while so I'm going to make it hell for myself if I carry on obsessing, especially this early on. So I've taken a chill pill ladies 💊 ...and breathe 😊

Luci - great attitude. I got a bit worked up over it all during my first 2 cycles and this time I'm a lot more chilled out. I'm cd10 today, dtd every other day on average and just seeing what happens. I've gone back to work this week after the summer off and that's already helping me to relax more. Im also hoping that it helps me to stay this relaxed during the 2ww which is due to begin any day now.

Bobo you are so right. We always thought it would take many many months to conceive after coming off the pill, I'm just a bit over excited now the time has come. Thank you though :)

Bobo I am testing this weekend. Trying to stay positive. All the worrying about it not happening is counter productive. Met with a fried today who had been TTC for 2yrs and the month she threw all her tests away in an attempt to be more if it happens it happens....it happened.

Fertility app cull

Right so I've somehow got myself into a routine where I have 3 apps; fertility friend (I like for the chart but only useful if doing bbt), ovia and glow.

In my mission to stress less after 8 months I need to cut it down to either one or two for now. I'm a bit worried as I don't want to lose all my previous info, but if anything will get you obsessed, filling in three apps every day will.

Any personal preferences or suggestions? X
