johno the 12 weeks was referring to the backlog you said there was for the swimmer results! Seems like such a long time. Sounding really positive for you! Fx!!! Can't believe you're be so patient waiting it out til the weekend, well done!

shoney you definitely be fine if you dtd the day before, then they would be there ready and waiting to catch that egg!

Cd15 for me so should be ov today going by last cycles but defo think it happened earlier than expected. Had high sex drive mon and Tues, ewcm Tues and now symptoms gone again. Yesterday just felt normal and back to 'normal' cm and today I just feel really crappy! Bloated and tired. Didn't dtd last night and dp is on nights tonight so won't happen so hopefully I'm right and the earlier dtd was enough. Going to count today as 1dpo, usually 14 day lp so expecting af around cd29 (8th September) Going to try very hard to hold out testing until then seeing as last cycle I poas then got AF a few hours later! 8 the September... God that sounds ages away.

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys, I know some of you have been trying a lot longer and probably a lot more frustrated. Since I was like 13 I wanted to be a mum, did a after school course that started from contraception, from getting pregnant all they through pregnancy to visiting the local maternity ward and finishing with getting one of the mechanical babies home for a weekend. Everyone thought it would put me off but it didn't, I loved it.

Just hope we all get our BFP soon. This forum definitely helps a lot, esp as not told any of our family and friends about all that's gone on with this. xx

I swear to God I feel pregnant right now if I wasn't on cd 15 I'd be poas (how will I survive 2 weeks?!) I feel sick, I feel exhausted, I'm bloated and spotty. What is this madness?! Feels like first cycle off the pill all over again 😷

Hi everyone, can I join? I'm still not 100% on the acronyms so sorry in advance.
I'm on cycle 1 having been on the pill for 7 years.
We have been busy dtd for the last two weeks and so far I've adjusted well to life off the pill.

I'm pretty sure I ovulated when my app said I would as had all the usual symptoms and Ewcm etc. I'm not a patient person though! Im expecting absolutely nothing to happen in cycle 1, but I know it's unlikely af will arrive when expected so I may test in two weeks anyway if she doesn't appear.

Hi kaisha, you are similar to me. I came off pill on 31st Jul after 10 years. Been dtd quite a bit, no idea if I have ovulated and I'm just waiting for my first af really. If it doesn't show by next Friday I will test, but not expecting a positive.

Lots of left and right sided cramps- like ov pains. I have no idea what's going on...... Ah sod the 2ww, it's this 2 day wait I'm struggling with. Haven't poas in ages. Trying to not get my hopes up

Yesterday would have been my due date so I had a little cry to myself but feel like it's hopefully a bit of closure and now onwards and upwards!

Today is a bit up and down as I started cramping and spotting pink yesterday. I've seen my GP who said it could either be implantation or a very early miscarridge. Either way I'm too early for them to know and it's just a waiting game to see what happens now. The spotting was light brown this morning and has pretty much gone now.

Hopefully everythings ok momma sounds positive if everything has stopped now.

Haha Moonlight that's exactly how I felt two weeks ago, except it is my first month off the pill (or something stupid like 47 days since I took my last one....still waiting for AF!!)

Welcome Kaisha... I had to Google the acronyms for the first week or so Haha! I had no idea what ewcm was, I'd never heard of it and Google imaged it and nearly vommed!

So I'm gonna go poas just for fun and to double check I can drink this weekend! I hope it's positive so my DH has to change the cats litter!!

Hello from sunny France! Just a quick check in while I've got wifi. Welcome to new faces and congratulations to momma!

So after thinking I was in the middle of a tww I had an unexpectedly early visit from AF on weds! This cycle appears to have been 10 days shorter than the last one so I think I started testing too late and missed it this time. so frustrating.

Spent the first part of my hols with my friend who is now 16 weeks pg so that was difficult. I have however been making the most of not being pg by enjoying plenty of vin rouge in the sunshine!

mrscw hope you took some time to yourself and you're feeling better now, that must have been difficult.

momma sorry you're a bit in limbo but I think thats normal for some people to get spotting, especially around time af would have been due. I hope it's all ok for you and your body may have just been getting rid of it to keep the beans house nice and healthy and fresh. There's so much going on in there!

seven fx for you, it was all sounding good wasn't it?! When will you test?

Yep moonlight had loads of funny symptoms such as feeling sick, sore boobs, loads of tummy ache, bloating, etc two weeks ago when af would have been due (if I was a normal human being). Have done 4 tests since then just in case (usually when I've wanted a beer! Ha) and feel completely normal now except the odd ping in the ovary area but still no af.

Seven seas arrived today so I'm going to take them instead of folic acid in the hope they will get my cycle back on track. Not sure how long I should wait before I need to go to the docs about not getting af back after pill?

Did you have a normal withdrawal bleed and waiting for first real af or no bleed at all? Did you stop mid pack or take a full one? Or was it the pill you take all the time without a bleed?

Stopped mid pack (towards the end) and had a withdrawal bleed. It was the yasmin pill I'd been on since I was about 19. Was on another one before that since about age 16. Both with no problems. Af was really regular and predictable before that.

I just assumed it would come back, I didn't realise how common it is for it not. I'd probably of stopped it alot sooner if I'd of known. Its only been a month and a half tho so I know some ladies have been waiting much much longer!! Just wondered how long you should leave it before going docs.

Johno my love you have done so well so far TEST and I know you can resist the urge TEST NOW to test before Sunday! I'm sure the ov style pains could be little bean getting all snug It wont make any difference when you test anyway because I've decided there is a baby in there and that's that

Oh no seven that's a shame! Don't be too put out yet! I was on yasmin too but can't answer your question sorry as my first cycle was 29 days... knowing drs though I expect they'll make you wait a while. Fx it comes soon for you (or the alternative)!

bummer but wine is good ! I don't think the dr's are willing to help until at least a few months have passed which sucks. I had to wait 76 days but hopefully you wont be waiting much longer lovely You could always take some Agnus castus to speed things up? x

Oh seven i can see why you're stressed. I was on Yasmin for about 9 years- my first withdrawal bleed was within a couple of days and then my next cycle was 37 then 34,47 etc etc. The shortest I've had to date is 31. I probably would have given it about 3 cycles then gone to the GP if no AF. I say that but I'm inherently impatient so it probably would have been sooner.
I agree with bobo about the agnus castus.

Ah bobo you are my one-woman support team lol. Thanks to the rest of you for all the good luck. I am staying strong until Sunday mainly to not waste a frer continue to torture everyone and it might sound silly but the longer I leave it the longer I can believe there may be a little cub in there. I may buy a couple of super drug tests tomorrow to take to Devon in case sunday is a bfn and I get to Monday with no AF.
