Rainy34 · 16/10/2016 16:55

Dizzy OMG congratualtions, such great news!! just a boost we all need!!

hope everyone else is doing well, started my round of Clomid today, hoping that my healthy eating and gyming plus clomid makes this my lucky month!!

Rainy34 · 16/10/2016 16:56

pressed send to quick

hello and welcome Holzy

DizzyNorthernBird · 17/10/2016 08:31

Thanks soda, eskimo & rainy!

eskimo how are you? You must have had yours by now?

rainy I'm keeping my f tightly X' for you, it's about time you got your bfp too, , you've waited far too long. Really hope the clomid does the trick.

DP and I told both sets of parents yesterday and also his step sister & her hubby as we're close to them, everyone is thrilled of course but now I feel a bit bad as if this doesn't work out, it's not just us who'll be sad. But it's great we've got so many around us for support.

How is everyone else doing? It's been all about me on here the last few days! Blush

Rainy34 · 17/10/2016 15:50

Thanks Dizzy, all you can do is take one day at a time, I'm really hoping for a sticky bean for you, did you do anything different this month to help get pregnant?

eskimoflo · 17/10/2016 16:20

DizzyN Yes; he arrived on 8th September via elective C-section as he was breech. We are loving parenthood, although I've had an infection in the wound for the last week or so, so that's not been much fun! Keeping everything crossed for you that this bean is super sticky x x x

Waves to DizzyM and Rainy and everyone else x x x

Soda If you're lurking, you were due the same time as me... how goes it? x x x

Sodasoda · 17/10/2016 21:48

One day before me Eskimo! I had a little girl on the 9th. All going well so far and we're settling into family life.

Sending love and positive thoughts to everyone on here. I continue to lurk occasionally in the hope of seeing amazing news like dizzyn's. Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 18/10/2016 01:33

Congratulations both of you! X

rainy we didn't do anything different but I had a hsg about two weeks before ov. It must have been that. We only dtd three times during my fertile window and i was stressing as we had a gap of five days between two of those! But hey ho, things worked out for once. Otherwise things were mostly the same, my irregular cycles had settled into a more regular ish pattern and I've been eating better, also I'd stopped taking pre conception vits a couple of months ago, so I hope everything is developing ok.

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 18/10/2016 02:04

Lovely that you told them DizzyN - I bet they were thrilled. How did you get on calling about your appointment?

Rainy good luck with the clomid, and everything crossed that this will be your month.

DizzyM hope you are having a good cucke abd lots of DTD time.

Thinking of you all.

As for me my little ivf miracle will be 37 weeks on Monday - which is full term - amazing. He's caused me a little stress recently by not moving around much but the hospital had me in and he seems to be doing absolutely fine.

Borisisback · 30/10/2016 08:20

DizzyM hope you are having a good CYCLE AND lots of DTD time. Damn iPhones and swollen fingers.

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 04/11/2016 03:21

Boris Full term! Congratulations. I'm sorry he's been causing you the stress but I'm glad he's fine and just messing around :)

Rainy how are you getting on with the clomid this cycle?

DizzyN how are you?

Hi, really looking for some advice and help. I am 18dpo today with very high (for me) bbt, which are above my cover line (chart attached). Luteul phase is usually 11-12 days and I ovulated early this month so was expecting a 22 day cycle. All pregnancy tests (even Superdrug sensitive ones) are negative. Cervix is very high and closed, lots of creamy discharge, nipples sore and some cramping. Called Dr and she said it was unheard of and I was definitely not pregnant or it wasn't viable so I'd probably miscarry - which just made me burst into tears. Is it possible hcg hasn't made it into my urine yet? I reckon I implanted (if I did) last Friday. Any advice gratefully received! TIA x

Kellz92 · 07/11/2016 19:13

Genghis, she's better thank you. Yeah I have an appointment on the 5th December which is good for Aberdeen hospital!! How are you?

Fitzy everything crossed for you

Hope everyone is doing well

Xx

DizzyNorthernBird · 07/11/2016 19:21

Wow boris that's amazing how fast the time has flown! I bet you're itching to get baby out now to meet him!

kellz magpie and genghis how are you all getting along?

dizzym I'm feeling fine thanks, 8 weeks tomorrow but I've had virtually no symptoms apart from some mild nausea a few weeks ago (but I had norovirus last week so anything since then doesn't feel like nausea!!!) Hope you've been getting plenty of bd in Smile & your bfp is around the corner, you've waited far too long now xx

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 07/11/2016 23:13

Kellz that's great that you finally have an appointment - hopefully from when you get seen, things will move quickly.

I'm delighted you're feeling well DizzyN (well apart from the norovirus, you poor thing). Has the fact that you're pregnant sunk in yet?

I'm well - 20 weeks exactly today! I'm not sure if I mentioned it already but we're having a boy :)

Hello to everyone else.

Kellz92 · 14/11/2016 13:17

DizzyN I'm ok thanks Hun. Getting there. Third trimester now!

Genghis congratulations on having a boy!!

Xx

Rainy34 · 14/11/2016 19:18

Hey everyone, clomid extended my cycle which was good , but no bfp, only moodiness half way through cycle and the period pain was awful, i normally get a bit of pain bit it came from no where and felt so sick with the pain, once i managed to get painkillers in me and waited for them to work it was fine,

hello to everyone else!!!!

DizzyNorthernBird · 15/11/2016 00:28

Not really genghis, I'm only just seeing my GP in the morning, haven't had booking in appt or anything yet so I've just been trying to carry on as usual. 9 weeks tomorrow! Or today as its gone midnight! Congrats on having a boy! I was convinced that's what I'll be having but now I'm not so sure....!

Wow kellz so where in third tri are you now? Very exciting for you to be so close!

rainy that sucks about your symptoms but at least you had some benefit from it. Remind me whether you've had a hsg already? After what happened to me I'm convinced they should make everyone have a hsg for starters, it could save a whole lot of time and heartache for many.

Borisisback · 16/11/2016 09:04

Rainy - sorry the clomid didn't work this time. I hope the doctors have used this as a chance to learn about your cycle to make it work next time. How many cycles do you get?

DizzyN we have a grads facebook group if you want to join?

Pixa · 16/11/2016 23:08

DizzyN, I'm not sure if you'll remember me, but I wanted to drop by and say that I'm so pleased for you. It's just the most fantastic news. Sending you lots of love for a happy and healthy pregnancy. Smile
