Oops double post

Rainy good luck with the clomid, and the gym! I really must head back to the gym as it's starting to heat up again here so the aircon in the gym makes moving a lot easier!

Glad you enjoyed some sun Kellz. I'm 13 weeks now, still very nervous but just trying to take every day as it comes.

Magpie You're right, a driving licence will be very useful so fingers crossed I'll manage to pass it. My instructor was telling me how you can do the test five times but after that you'll have to do the theory test again before you can take another driving test. I wasn't sure if he was just being upfront or not very sure of my chances :)

DizzyN I'm delighted that all was well with your hsg but understand your frustrations. You kind of wish they had found a small, treatable problem that can be fixed with a dose of medicine. The lap does sound like a big step up from the hsg and quite an undertaking. I guess one way to look at it, is that your doctor wouldn't put you through it unless s/he thought it was necessary. Small consolation I know. Hopefully they'll be able to give you more reasons/positives at your appointment (which won't be long coming around!)

Wow 13 weeks already!! That's me just over 20. Flies in. Hope you're keeping well xx

DizzyMerry · 26/09/2016 15:15

Hi all, hope you're all doing well. Have you all gone elsewhere and abondoned the bus and left me behind?!

Sorry I've not been around much. Anyway DH has had a private SA done and his morphology was 5%!!! He now wants to continue ttc until the end of this year as he thinks there's no reason for it to not happen naturally. In my fertile window now so fx all goes well.

DizzyMerry · 26/09/2016 15:31

Sorry that was a bit rude of me! Promise to read back later to catch up with you lot.

DizzyMerry · 26/09/2016 16:00

Rainy good luck with the clomid.

Ghengis you're 13 weeks already?! Where is the time going? Although I appreciate time seems to slow doing in pregnancy.

Kellz you're half way there now!

Dizzy it's great that your HSG went well but so frustrating when no reason is given as to why it's taking so long! When is your next appointment?

Boris and magpie hope you're both doing well.

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 27/09/2016 00:58

Hello DizzyM! So pleased to see you're still around. This poor old bus does seem to chugging along rather slowly doesn't it? Great news about your DH - how was his count and motility? Are you okay waiting until the end of the year? Fx for well timed dtd this month.

Ha, it feels like it's going so slowly Kellz. Great news that you're already at 20 weeks - I hope all goes well with the anomaly scan.

I am still with the same doctor who did my fertility treatment and we were talking the other week - he really seems to think our issue was the angle of my uterus and cervix. He thinks that anything to do with DH is secondary/irrelevant and that there was never much chance of sperm actually making it into my uterus. It seems such an odd issue but I guess it's good to know!

Hello to everyone else!

DizzyMerry · 27/09/2016 01:27

That's interesting ghengis. Did he say what position your uterus was in? I have a retroverted uterus and when dtd I can feel DH pressing on what I assume is my bowel area. I've heard arvigo therapy works to apparently align the uterus so may go for it next cycle. I did have an appointment for this in July but was too scared to go in case it hurt! DH's count and motility results are good. I feel ok about waiting but will be very annoyed if he moves the goalposts again Hmm

Kellz92 · 27/09/2016 15:20

DizzyM good luck with continuing your ttc, I have everything crossed for you!!

Genghis had my scan yesterday need to go back next week as she was being a diva.

Been signed off two weeks now and have another week off so far, got constant migraines, been since beginning of August but I just can't cope now, dr has written for advice from neurology so hopefully get answers, the medication I got has went from 10mg once a day to 50mg once a day and my body is starting to get side affects from it so he doesn't want to up it much more. So hoping to get better soon xx

Borisisback · 27/09/2016 19:07

DizzyM there are still a few of us hanging out and shaking our Pom poms for you dizzy N rainy frogbubbles and nomio

Good news about his SA - hope this is your month :)

I'm doing ok - due in 8 weeks now... Eek.

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 29/09/2016 08:03

That's great news about your DH's count and motility DizzyM. Fx for this month for you. My uterus is the opposite to yours - anteverted. From what the doctor said (and from google!) it shouldn't really make a difference for conception unless it's quite extreme, which, just my luck, mine is.

Sorry about the migraines Kellz - I have lots of sympathy for you, and hope they sort out some treatment for you.

DizzyMerry · 29/09/2016 08:45

Kellz you poor thing! Migraines are horrendous and I can't imagine how much worse they must be when pregnant. Hope you feel better soon.

Boris how exciting, eek indeed!!!

Hopefully it won't hinder our chances ghengis.

Frogbubbles how are you doing?

Kellz92 · 29/09/2016 19:43

Boris not long now!!

Thank you Genghis, I'm hoping the neurologist will know what tablets I can take

Thanks DizzyM

Hope you're all well X

Rainy34 · 03/10/2016 15:06

Thanks Boris hope your keeping well!!

kelly my friend suffers with migraines and she ended up getting a Daith piercing in her ear as this is meant to help people who suffer with migraines, she has not looked back since having it done, when she gets headaches now she just takes paracetamol and the head ache is gone and before she would have been sick and in bed with it

not much happening with me, think i ovulated in the last couple of days, as of next month il be taking Clomid so fingers crossed!!

Kellz92 · 03/10/2016 16:50

Rainy I was considering it but I don't know if it will work with pregnancy ones? I don't suffer out with pregnancy nut my hubby pierces so might try getting him to do it xx

Borisisback · 04/10/2016 07:29

rainy - wooo hoooo for the next clomid cycle. I'll have my fingers and toes tightly crossed for you. Xxxx

Kellz92 · 04/10/2016 19:59

Rainy I hope the clomid helps.

Boris how are you keeping

Xx

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 07/10/2016 00:55

Rainy Good luck with the clomid next month!

I hope everyone is keeping well? No news here, just that we're moving house soon so am trying to pack things...how have we accumulated so much crap? We only moved here 18 months ago so our last 'clean out' wasn't even that long ago.

OP posts:
Kellz92 · 09/10/2016 18:15

Genghis I hope the move goes well X

DizzyNorthernBird · 10/10/2016 12:18

Hey, hope everyone is well! Logged myself out for a while and couldn't be bothered resetting my password! Grin

Af is due today/tomorrow morning. First cycle after hsg. Our timing was ok this cycle but didn't dtd very much. Don't feel any different right now to how I usually do pre AF, but there's a tiny part of me keeping my fx that my tubes were cleared and the sperm finally managed to get to that egg!

On an interesting note, I've been making a conscious effort to eat more eggs and I've noticed my usual pre AF spotting seems to have pretty much disappeared the last few cycles. Even though I've stopped wasting money on pre conception vits. Have also been eating more avocados and spinach (nutribullet!) which might have contributed!

Better dash, I'm in the middle of dying my hair and it's time to rinse!

MagpieCursedTea · 11/10/2016 09:48

DizzyN fx that af stays away! Interesting about the eggs, I know they're one of the things I ate a lot of when I first got diagnosed with PCOS as I heard they were meant to be good. Can't even look at them now as I associate them with the nausea from the metformin!

Genghis I hope the move goes well, we're looking at moving next year and I'm dreading the clear out!

Kellz I hope the migraines improve for you soon!

Rainy all the best for this cycle and the clomid one just in case!

Boris the end is in sight! That's so exciting!

DizzyM great news about your DH's SA results, that's quite an improvement! Fx it makes all the difference for you!

Not much news from me, 12 weeks to go now. I'm not sure what I'm counting down to more, the baby or the ability to eat as many carbs as I want...

Kellz92 · 12/10/2016 08:57

DizzyN I hope AF stayed away!! I loved my nutribullet!

Magpie thank you, they're still here and on numerous tablets, nasal ointments and sprays, I can cope with them if they disappeared for a while but except that all is good. Hope you're keeping well. I have just over 16 weeks :) xx

Borisisback · 12/10/2016 19:44

Nice to hear from you dizzyn - hope the HSG has done some good :) fx this is your cycle.

Waves at everyone else :)

DizzyNorthernBird · 14/10/2016 09:32

I'm in shock!

If FF is right I'm 18 dpo today. DP had suggested testing but I was reluctant as I didn't want to see yet another bfp, but I decided to go ahead anyway and nearly fainted when the line showed up straight away. It's really strong too!

Not going to get too excited just yet though, this is my first ever bfp and after waiting for it for so long it would be just my luck if it decides not to stick around. But if not, this is still progress!
