Famalam13 · 14/10/2016 09:58

Yes yes yes yes Dizzy this has made my day, heck it has made my year (night by the way) Flowers

DizzyNorthernBird · 14/10/2016 10:16

Thanks boris and night! Like I say, it's way too early to get excited but I did just work out that it will be a June baby if all goes well

Borisisback · 14/10/2016 10:20

It is early but it's also massive progress. I'm so pleased for you.

It took me 11 weeks to be able to think of mysekf as possibly pregnant - I didn't think it could work out for me. The anxiety didn't stop here I'm afraid Confused there's a thread under the pregnancy board pregnant after infertility full of people with the sane anxieties.

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 14/10/2016 10:32

DizzyN OMG! Congratulations....this is such wonderful news - I'm so so so delighted for you. I have a big smile on my face, I'm just so thrilled. xx

Omg!!!! Congratulations dizzyN! Lovely strong line! Fingers crossed this is it for you! Must have been the HSG.

Hi everyone else still here. Good luck with the Clomid rainy and great news about the morphology dizzyM! My dh was up to 5% the month before we conceived from 2% 3 months before.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 14/10/2016 13:57

dizzyn so thrilled for you - so much so that I finally reset my MN password so I could send my congratultions. X.

DizzyNorthernBird · 14/10/2016 14:14

Wow, what a response! Thanks oyster, chops, purple, sammy, mummy, and woolly for popping back in, I had no idea you were all still lurking here! Grin

boris I can imagine feeling the same and I'm totally preparing myself for a false start.

oyster I'll let you know as and when I feel ready to join up! I don't really go on Facebook much anymore but it'll be good to see pics of all the bumsnet babies!

Thanks genghis & magpie! I don't really know how I'm feeling at the moment! I need to not overthink things really...have just had lunch with a friend which was a nice distraction but I had to tell a white lie when she asked how babymaking was going! Other than mild cramping there's been no symptoms....I'm off for a run this afternoon and I'm not sure whether anything will have changed? Although I went running on Wednesday night and had loads of energy then!

I'm mainly worried about how to withhold this from my mum, she's coming to stay this weekend and knows that Af was due, and she knows my next fertility appointment in next Tuesday! I'm going to struggle to not blurt this out to her! DP is adamant that we tell no one until 12 weeks but I just think if anything goes wrong I'll want to talk to my mum!

TheArtfulJammieDodger · 14/10/2016 14:25

I'm delighted for you DizzyN!! Congratulations!!! Grin(Formerly HopesUpKnickersDown)

holzyb20 · 14/10/2016 15:16

Hi can I join you

Well I'm currently on cycle day 78 all hpts have been negative last period 30th july-3rd august. I had 2/3 lots of tiny amounts of spotting only lasting a day and barley there at all. I don't normally use opks but when I missed my first period I started to use them and have not ovulated since

I have been getting bad headaches, and very tired dont matter how much i sleep i still need more, last week I started getting very nauseous I was heaving to be sick but wasn't actually sick (I'm never sick or never normally feel sick either) my boobs feel achey and have noticed small thin purple veins on my breasts which i have never seen before.my big blue veins are normally noticeable anyway as I have big boobs but even they look bolder

I was pretty much convinced I weren't pregnant until I started feeling sick and now these random purple veins

Have a internal scan booked 26th October

I'm sooooo confused

ThePug · 14/10/2016 21:42

DizzyN Yippeeeeee!!! Good news travels fast amongst bumsnetters Grin HUGE CONGRATULATIONS. And what a BF P line that is!

Pikz · 14/10/2016 23:20

Dizzzzzzy! Fabulous news!!

DizzyNorthernBird · 15/10/2016 00:38

Thanks hopes, pikz & pug! I was so shocked at that line, it literally was that dark as soon as the wee travelled up the stick......after reading so many 'can you see a line' threads I was expecting to get my magnifying glass out!

Borisisback · 15/10/2016 17:09

Welcome holzyb - most of the ladies on here have been trying to conceive for ages - it's tough.

Dizzyn pee'd on any more sticks?

DizzyNorthernBird · 15/10/2016 18:38

Not yet boris, parents are staying for the weekend so will leave it until Monday. DP wants me to test with a 'proper test' just to be sure. He doesn't trust the cheap tests I have. My temps are still very high though so I'm happy there's still a bfp for now, despite my total lack of symptoms!

Sodasoda · 15/10/2016 18:41

Just popping on to say massive congratulations to dizzyN - am thrilled for you!

Waves to everyone else Smile

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 16/10/2016 01:08

DizzyN How have you got on with not telling your Mum? It must be difficult....but what a wonderful secret to have! What are you going to do about your appointment? You've become one of those people who falls pregnant while doing the fertility investigations Grin.

Magpie Only 12 weeks left?! Wow. Also, we're still waiting for a move date so at this rate you'll be in your new house before us :)

Welcome Holzy and hello to everyone else!

DizzyNorthernBird · 16/10/2016 07:36

I don't know what to do about the appointment genghis, I'm sure they won't be very impressed if I turn up and say I'm upduffed and just want to get my results. At the same time if this pregnancy doesn't last it'll be annoying to have to go back to GP and start from scratch....although perhaps after my hsg I might not have any difficulty if we had to ttc again? It doesn't really feel fair going when there's other people out there waiting. I'll probably ring them tomorrow to cancel.

DP and I popped out to tesco last night and grabbed a clearblue which I've just done this morning. Bfp again 2-3 weeks. He's now suggesting we just tell my mother this morning at breakfast? A lot of people on the an thread seem to be telling parents. I suppose there's no harm because if anything happened I'd want to tell mum anyway.

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 16/10/2016 08:58

DizzyN Obviously it's up to you but I think that if you have that type of relationship and you'd want her to know if something did go wrong, then do it! It'll be one breakfast she never forgets :) Good luck with your decision (and wonderful news about the clearblue). That's tough about the appointment but I'd do the same - ring and see what they say when you tell them about the bfp.

Holzy welcome!

Genghis I'd say it's going quickly for me but in some ways it feels like an eternity! Hope you get your moving date soon!

DizzyN I told my parents straight away as I'd have needed their support if anything had gone wrong. Plus it's makes it feel more real when you get to tell someone and it's nice to be able to talk to someone other than your partner about it. I also phoned my gynaecologist as I had an appointment coming up and they cancelled it when I told them I was pregnant. I was worried about having to start it all again though. Plus I was due a scan and was really hoping they'd still let me have it! (They obviously didn't).
