Hi All!

I've recently found out I have PCOS. Have been ttc for over two years. My tww is currently going on and on but this isn't unusual for me.

I was wondering how you deal with the uncertainty? Not knowing either way is terrible! But I'm holding off testing because as least then there's still a chance of a bfp!

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/09/2016 09:41

Hi modest, welcome. Do you know how many days past ovulation you are you? I'm prolly 5 days past and the waiting is starting to bug me now.

Modestandatinybitsexy · 20/09/2016 10:05

Thanks for the welcome Boggle :)

I should have ovulated on the 4th Sept so about 16 days. I don't use opks because it didn't ever pick anything up for me. I've since been told ovulation is hit and miss for me though.

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/09/2016 10:47

You're looking at about 14dpo do you could prolly test now and find out?

Modestandatinybitsexy · 20/09/2016 13:31

But what if it's bad news?! Blush

My cycles held out for 42 days before. I caved and tested on day 41, BFN and AF all in one was such a disappointment.

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/09/2016 13:44

Well, of course there is that and I'll be going through the exact same thing next week but we're all here for hand holding and support. It's what has got me through the last 2 years, these wonderful ladies. Xxx

Does anyone track their temperature every day? Started doing that this month. I rarely have periods, perhaps every six months I'll get one, but it showed a clear spike in temp which gives me hope I'm still ovulating.

Can't really offer much more advice than to try that to check ovulation.

It must be so hard waiting to test, I really hope you have good news xxx

Modestandatinybitsexy · 20/09/2016 18:46

Thanks K I used to temp alongside opks but it was just making more of the month ttc focussed and I'm so fed up of it all!

I've be crampy all day so I'm pretty sure AF will arrive soon. Although I've been pretty sure about that for a few days now.

I've been around on mnet for a while now but I didn't know about this thread. It's great to know there are people I can talk to that are going through the same thing.

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/09/2016 19:21

Have you had any sign that AF is on her way? Like reddy brown discharge? Xx

Modestandatinybitsexy · 20/09/2016 20:12

I had nothing except backache abs cramps since some light pink spotting nearly a week ago.

I've bought some tests but I've handed over the responsibility of when I'll test to DH hopefully then I can stop worrying.

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/09/2016 20:41

I reckon you should test modest xx

bluebird3 · 20/09/2016 20:58

Just catching up after a few days off.

I agree you should test modest good luck!

I'm also trying to lose weight, hopefully 1.5-2 stone. Can't seem to get going with it though.

danigrace glad to hear we're not alone (although also sorry you're have issues too!) yes, we are still at the GP. First we were told that as soon as DH had his SA then we'd get referred. Then I was told I had to do another blood and urine test then we'd be referred. Then w got DH's first SA results and were told we needed another SA and then we'll be referred. At this rate, I feel like we'll never get the referral! Then we have to wait for that and the I will probably need loads more tests. I've never even had a scan.

Modestandatinybitsexy · 20/09/2016 21:03

Good luck with the Drs blue I found it better to know what was going on with me.

Also couldn't get started with weight loss by myself until I signed up for a meal replacement diet. It's dull but effective. Ive lost nearly 2 stone in nearly two months.

I'll let you know when I test and whether it's heads or tails.

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/09/2016 21:08

Good luck modest! Thinking of you!

KBookworm · 20/09/2016 21:19

Thinking of you too!

I've read of some people who have gone to private fertility clinics because the NHS was so bad at referring them!

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/09/2016 22:50

Thinking of you tomorrow robber, let us know how you get on xx

RobberBride · 21/09/2016 07:20

Thanks Boggle Smile I got a BFP! So happy, though obviously scared it won't last. Two year, six rounds of clomid and two of Menopur. I only ovulated twice in that time. I hope you all get yours soon!
