Don't worry amy, I'm sure there's plenty of sperm hanging around waiting for Mrs Egg to appear!

Hi summer, Bath was lovely apart from DH being ill Saturday night. Either way it was nice to be away. Another 10 days and I'm starting provera to begin my last round of clomid. Need to get my positive pants back on.

Sorry Amy :( do keep DTD though as I do have my reservations about OPKs with PCOS.

Well done Boggle get back on the positive wagon. I well and truly fell off the bloody thing last week but getting back on this week. At least you know that Provera and Clomid have the desired effect on you as far as ovulation goes right?

AmyC86 · 21/11/2016 17:17

Yes, I've read that pcos can make them read false positives and clomid can make them read false negatives so there's no win 😂😂 I have been getting cramps on and off since Saturday morning, nipples are sensitive but my boobs usually ache like buggery but they're not doing as yet. CM is wet but there's not loads of it like their was last month. (If you remember boggle i acctually complained about the amount of CM I was having & you suggested that I use a panty liner 😂😂 if only we'd put 2 and 2 together!!!)

Nutcracker20167 · 21/11/2016 17:51

Hi Everyone, been quiet last few weeks. Little update from me. Took my clomid went for follicle tracking today and it was nice and big with no signs of over simulation. So just been told to take the ovulation tests every day now and call my doctor when I get a positive, we'll give it a good go this coming week :-) All this I've done privately, otherwise I would still be waiting for my initial NHS appointment which was scheduled for next week. I have also been having acupuncture which has been great. Feeling positive at the moment.

YouBoggleMyMind · 21/11/2016 18:44

Hi nut, welcome back. Pleased things are going well, fingers crossed for the next 14 days.

Haha amy! Ignore the stupid opks and keep shagging! Same to all you ladies around ovulation!

Yes, all being well 150mg clomid and metformin should do the trick...

AmyC86 · 21/11/2016 18:46

nut were at exactly the same time in our cycles!!! Opks are driving me mad though xx I'm cd19 and ovulation should be any day now, had a 16mm folicale on Thursday. Lining nice and thick too....

YouBoggleMyMind · 21/11/2016 18:53

Re-tested today, still positive! Booked in to midwife :D

AmyC86 · 23/11/2016 08:24

Nice one drew

I'm giving up on the OPKS. Not had a positive, but over the weekend I did have some near to positives. Now they're not even showing the slightest of 2nd pink lines!!!!

Plenty of DTD Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday. Going to give it another go today & then the next time will be Sunday because of the way our shifts fall 😣 I just hope that we've already caught it xx
Going for my bloods on Wednesday of next week instead of today & giving it the best possible chance.

DrewOB0 · 23/11/2016 08:27

Have you got any pains? My ovaries always hurt really bad around ovulation time. Incidentally , more on the side that has more cysts.

YouBoggleMyMind · 23/11/2016 09:06

Don't worry about the opks amy, they're hit and miss at the best of times and the surge can come and go so fast. I'm sure you've covered your self so I guess you're in your 2ww now! When is test day? Xxx

Great news Drew - and FX for you Amy.

Provera question - how long after the last pill should you expect a bleed to start please?

danigrace · 23/11/2016 11:26

Hi girls,
Summer your definitely right, thank you. Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Boggle it's not too long now til your next cycle is it??

Fingers crossed for you Amy & Nut!

Amy last mine got a few nearly positives on cd9-12 then went completely white then finally +ve on CD21!! It's so messed up. Like Boggle said it sounds like your covered though, just keep periodic sexing incase!

Congrats Drew

Well I'm 5+1 today and the past couple days there's been a bit of brown in my discharge sometimes when wiping which has me on edge...

YouBoggleMyMind · 23/11/2016 13:52

summer, AF turns up for me 7-10 days after the last provera tablet. I was told 2-3 days... I think a lot of the original thread crew asked this question which is how we got chatting! Old thread link is at the start of this thread if you wanted more info.

dani, I really hope it's just baby settling in for the long haul, I understand brown discharge/blood is normal. If you are worried you could always try and get an early scan?

As for me, start provera on December 1st which should hopefully mean a folly scan between Christmas and new year. Fingers crossed it works...

AmyC86 · 23/11/2016 16:38

drew I've had cramping pains down there, central and to the left (left is where the folicale was) since Saturday on and off.

boggle if i am in my 2ww then it'll be the 7th December testing day.

I think I've had more luck with cm checking. Today it's like EWCM but it's not stretchy or not as stretchy as they say it should be.

Progesterone bloods im going to go for on Wednesday of next week, I'm dreading it incase the doctors secretary tells me that I've not ovulated Sad

YouBoggleMyMind · 23/11/2016 16:44

amy, I'm sending all my egg popping thoughts to you! I'm sure you have ovulated, don't worry! Xxx

I know boggle but the thread of doubt is always there with this TTC and pcos malarkey, I think even if/when I am pregnant I'll be the same!!! Until the baby is in my arms!!!! 😂😂 I've waited so long & wanted it for so long it hurts 😢

YouBoggleMyMind · 23/11/2016 21:03

I was having the exact same conversation with my DSIS this evening. I know too much now and will worry from start to end if it ever happens.

Af started so 4th of 7 clomid rounds will be started this weekend. Private Dr told me theres a high chance ill be pregnant by the end of the clomid. According to her im still youngHmm my tubes are open and dh has super sperm!

YouBoggleMyMind · 25/11/2016 08:42

Good luck Fluffy.

Happy Friday ladies!

amy, can I suggest that you start our new thread as I started the last one?
We've only got about 30 posts left before we need a new thread.

Xxx

danigrace · 25/11/2016 10:37

Fingers crossed for you Fluffy!

Amy & Boggle DH & I had the exact same convo also. Then when I said we can feel a bit calmer if we get to the stage where have a healthy baby in our arms he was like - "no way, then you have to keep them safe and healthy, then worry about schools and other people looking after them, and worry about them going off with their friends, it won't ever end...". I was like, thanks for the pep talk haha. He's right though!

FluffyEwok · 25/11/2016 11:25

Lol dani id be the same. Im just praying this works and i dont have to do ivf as its daunting. I was out with four friends last night and realised only one of us has ever got pregnant without treatment its mad as were all 30 to 35 so hardly too old ! Shows how common these issues are

SummerHopin · 25/11/2016 11:37

Good morning everyone.

My AF arrived this morning! Not had any bleeding since September 1st, so although it was induced by Provera it does mean that my Progesterone challenge was positive.

Feeling positive - never been so happy to get a bleed! :) x

satsooma · 25/11/2016 16:11

Hi everyone!

I had some bad stomach pains after my second round of clomid. I'm wasn't supposed to have any more scans this cycle, but my GP got one for me, because she was worried the pain could be due to over-stimulation of my ovaries. I just got my scan and I'm not overstimulated, but I do have two large follicles on my right ovary!

I am currently CD11 and the follicles are 13 and 14mm. That is larger than the single 12mm follicle I saw at CD13 last round. I think this means I have around a 50% chance of getting pregnant this cycle, and a 10% chance of twins Shock

After what happened last cycle, I'm trying not to get my hopes up though.
