Go boggle go and DTD like you've never DTD before!!!!!

YouBoggleMyMind · 15/09/2016 18:08

Haha amy!
Your should have seen me last night, I was sorting some gym stuff while the opk was doing its thing and I swung my head round the bathroom door to take a peek and there it was, smiling back at me. I dropped everything and ran down to show DH. He was delighted. We dtd Saturday, Monday and last night and maybe throw in one tonight for good luck. I'm so excited haha xxx

Hi ladies. Can I join? You seem like a friendly bunch I've been on a Ttc thread for almost a year but as everyone gets preggo in 3-5 cycles I feel like I might fit better here.

Always had regular 28-29 day cycles. Do have anywhere from 2-5 days of spotting that comes and goes before proper flow which can also include dried dark brown bits/sludge. Anyone else get that?

I've had 2 day 21 blood tests, both confirmed no ovulation. Dh had SA - moderate low sperm count but normal motility and morphology. Dh has a second SA in a couple of weeks and then will be referred to fertility clinic.

Been Ttc for 1.5 years with no sniff of a bfp.

YouBoggleMyMind · 15/09/2016 21:09

Hi bluebird, come join us. So with no ovulation, is your next step clomid?
We're your bloods taken at the right time in your cycle?

Xxx

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to provide an update and let you all know that we welcomed our little boy Arthur last week on 8th September at 12.50pm weighing 6lbs 14oz. We are besotted with him.

After 15 months of TTC, no natural cycles and only 3 clomid induced ovulations, I am proof that there is hope. It is easy for me to say now, but don't give up, keep pro-active, allow yourself the bad days and the pity parties, but pick yourselves back up again and carry on because you can do this and you will get your babies. Above all, keep talking, keep posting on here and keep supporting each other. Much love x x x

I have pcos. Been ttc with the fertility clinic for 3+ years. Did clomid and injectables. Got pregnant during a cancelled IUI. Am 6.5 weeks now but it isn't growing well. I am now waiting for the miscarriage to start, then I have to wait for the HCG to leave my body before trying again.

I feel so frustrated sometimes.

Chinnygirl · 16/09/2016 15:05

Eskimo, what an adorable baby, congratulations

bluebird3 · 16/09/2016 15:21

Congrats eskimo he's gorgeous.

So sorry to hear chinny. Life is so unfair sometimes. Flowers

boggle I'm not sure what the next steps are. When I last saw gp she mentioned clomid but that was before dh's SA with low count. Will clomid still have a chance if he's not got plenty of swimmers?

Moomin37 · 16/09/2016 17:41

Huge congratulations Eskimo Smile So pleased for you and as others have said, Arthur really is gorgeous and what a fab name Smile

EllaMenoPea · 16/09/2016 22:29

eskimo he is so, so gorgeous!! Congratulations!!!!!

Always checking in on this thread, glad to see you're feeling so positive boggle and things are looking good this month.

I'm 16 weeks now.

Waves to everyone!

YouBoggleMyMind · 16/09/2016 22:45

Waves at returning folk.

bluebird, clomid will assist with ovulation which is what you need. As for the low sperm count, I believe that can be increased in various ways and it's nothing but a good thing that they look and move right. Only takes one of the little fellas to do the job! You might just need to dtd loads!

How low are we talking? Like 5 sperm or are there still a good few million around?

waves to newbies blue and chinney*

Welcome both xx

satsooma · 17/09/2016 07:11

Eskimo he is beautiful! It is great to know that this can all work out, even after 15 months of TTC.

Got my fingers crossed for you Boggle. It only has to work once!

I've been up since 5 this morning because I got an actual period! (TMI alert: defining this as anything red and heavy enough to need sanpro). First one since February! Not sure if it was the metformin, or the fact that I have drastically upped the intensity and length of the exercise I am doing this week. Maybe both. So excited. This feels like progress!

RobberBride · 17/09/2016 14:21

delurking to say Eskimo he is gorgeous!

Boggle glad to hear you're feeling good.

Moomin and Ella I can't believe how fast time is going.

Wave to everyone. I don't post here much (I'm not really PCOS-y so I don't have much to add) but I lurk and keep my fingers crossed for you all.

EllaMenoPea · 17/09/2016 15:16

Hi robber, I'm often thinking about you. Hope things are going well Flowers

RobberBride · 17/09/2016 17:47

Thanks Ella - same to you! It is really nice to hear things are progressing so well for the thread grads. I'm in the 2ww after the second round of injectables.

EllaMenoPea · 17/09/2016 18:34

I hope it's not dragging too much and you're filling it with nice things. Please keep us updated.

bluebird3 · 18/09/2016 09:13

Not sure on the exact count boggle, the letter just said moderate low count. I'll ask dh to ring up for the exact number.

Moomin37 · 18/09/2016 12:22

Congrats on completing the second round of stabbing Robber Smile Hope the TWW doesn't drag too much and crossing my fingers for you. Test day must be close to Boggle's given that she's just ovulated?

RobberBride · 18/09/2016 12:30

Thanks Moomin Smile Boggle when is your OTD? I'm 13dpo today, OTD is Wed. I have cramps low down in my belly, so I presume AF is on her way.

RobberBride · 18/09/2016 12:32

Bluebird there's a lot your DH can do to improve sperm count. The important thing is that his motility and morphology are normal, as they are a lot harder to fix.

YouBoggleMyMind · 18/09/2016 12:43

Today is cd20 but I'm pretty sure I only ovulated cd17. Nowhere test day yet plus I have one of my best friends baby shower on 1st October so I'm not sure I want to know before then in case it's negative xxx
