I'm just not feeling it at the moment xx I stupidly thought that I wouldn't need this appointment when I got given it in April. I just didn't think that I'd have this negativity. Although, my NHS experience hasn't been very upbeat either tbh & I've only had blood tests.

We definitely need some good news knocking around this place, perhaps from flo or moomin

For now, heres some flowers to cheer us all up

It is hard but you will get there. Your knee hasn't helped either. Just gotta see what the Dr says and go from there. Good luck.

Yeah, eskimo is due this weekend!

Not seen ella or moomin for a little while, or robber. Hope all is well.

I know that my knee hasn't helped, my not so active lifestyle had reduced to practically nothing for at least 3/4 weeks & then returning to work and being placed in an office wasn't particularly my idea of fun xx glad to be back into the swing of things now that I managed to complete my conflict resolution prior to returning back to my normal job, although straight back on the night shifts Sad I've got a feeling that I'll be on nights until the new year too Sad not great for TTC at the best of times.

I have got a list of questions which we can ask the gynecologist when we go back, so I'm armed and dangerous with information.

YouBoggleMyMind · 08/09/2016 21:12

Definitely a good idea to go in armed and dangerous! I hope it goes well amy. Xxx

OMG just realised Eskimo was having her c-section on 8th September Shock Can't wait for an update Smile

Hello to everyone BTW Grin I still drop by to see how you're doing and think about you.

I'm 21 weeks now and very relieved to say I have the next two weeks off work. Hurrah!

AmyC86 · 11/09/2016 21:20

Oh goodness yes! I remember now xx awe I hope her and baby are doing well xx

Hope your appointment went ok Amy.

I have my first fertility clinic appointment booked for early October. It was only a 4 week wait from when I got the letter to book it, but almost double that due to my GP constantly messing things up. Funnily enough this appointment is one year to the day since I stopped taking the pill. I'm taking that as a good omen :)

AmyC86 · 12/09/2016 23:28

Went to my appointment. As I expected - straight on the scales. All in all a very negative outlook for the clomid working at a higher dose. Loose weight must have been mentioned about 1 zillion times. Declined prescribing metformin and told me to loose weight. Even offered to refer me to a dietitian!!! Said nothing about the 3 week spotting. Nothing said about my disappointment with not being scanned at both occasions of clomid.

Have been given anor increase in the clomid to 100mg and a course of norethisterone. I'm tempted to wait until I come back from my holiday, I go in 13 days so the likelyhood is that I will be away when taking the clomid and unable to attend for the scans.

Although I'm looking forward to my hols, roll on the end of my hols so that I can start the ball rolling again! Xx

All in all feeling very low about the whole thing. Declined the offer of a dietitian & basically said I know how to cook & eat healthy it's a lack of motivation.

AmyC86 · 12/09/2016 23:31

Also, I'm wondering what to do about this bleeding spotting for my hols!

YouBoggleMyMind · 13/09/2016 10:26

Sounds like a tough meeting amy.
Sorry it wasn't as productive as you'd hoped.
Have you given slimming world or weight watchers a go? WW has kept me on track recently (although not so much this weekend due to our anniversary)

Can you use a small tampon or panty liner for the bleeding while you're away?

I had my scan yesterday, the nurse was a knob and wouldn't actually listen to the fact I've had 6 cycles, not 7 and that my file is wrong as someone counted cycle 3 twice. She asked loads of questions that she could have found by taking 30 seconds to look through my file. Very frustrating.
I did have 2 follicles, 1 on each ovary and my lining was very good. Should ovulate in the next couple of days so we're good to go! Fingers crossed it works this cycle. Just a waiting game now. Xxx

Hi girls, how are you all? Where's everybody up to?

When do you go away Amy? Sorry to hear you had a tough appointment. Is your knee better?
Boggle fingers crossed for you, when will you find out if you ovulated? Or is that not how it works?

Well I had my day 21 bloods last week and day 28 today but I know I've not ovulated this cycle. Still awaiting the letter with my next appointment which will be in November, & the letter for DH's repeat sa which will be in Oct. Got to call the hosp to book in for the xray wit the dye in my tubes when I next start a period and take the results to the appt in Nov, but I'm concerned I might not have a period between now & then! Day 28 now & no sign or symptoms of one...

YouBoggleMyMind · 13/09/2016 22:06

Hi dani, long time no see!
I won't get a blood test to check if ovulation happened this time. They tend to do it once and it showed I did last time. Follicles were a bit smaller than last time so will ovulate later as well. Tomorrow or Thursday I reckon. Then it's a waiting game!

Have you done a test?

OP posts:
danigrace · 13/09/2016 22:28

bom chicka wah wah Boggle!! Fingers crossed for you as always!

Not done a test, not ovulated this cycle (no ewcm, no +ve ov tests, and no thermal shift) but I've not been taking all the stuff that made me ovulate last time so I'm not surprised, instead taking a mega dose B6 tab so that it builds up and hopefully helps extend my luteal phase. Will start back on all the other stuff next cycle.

AmyC86 · 13/09/2016 23:44

I've tried SW before & found it so difficult to loose weight on their 'extra easy' menu which is whats mostly promoted these days. I did loose 4 stone about 7 years ago doing red days that they used to do but they don't do it anymore. Never tried WW. I go away on 25th. Had my next appointment through- 13th February I know it feels an age away but it'll be here in a snap of time 😕 determined to loose weight for when I go back this time!!!!!!

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/09/2016 08:25

I don't really get slimming world to be honest but weight watchers has been great. You can start online if you want and then go to classes. Let me know if you want any help or have questions.

Fingers crossed for a good cycle next time dani.

I got an almost positive opk last night so I reckon it's not going to be long before I ovulate.

I know what you mean about dates coming round quicky Amy, I was sure I would be pg by Christmas last year Blush

Looking good Boggle what time of day do you do your opks?

My nipples are slightly sore in a pre-period way so my fingers crossed tight that AF will arrive soon so I can start a new cycle!

danigrace · 14/09/2016 15:39

Also a close friend has asked me to be her birth partner, so I'm doing antenatal classes next month!!

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/09/2016 15:52

To be honest, all the opks I've been doing since cd10 have been at different times but all in the late afternoon onwards. Last nights was at like 11pm but others have been at like 4:30pm and 7:30pm.

Opks aren't particularly accurate for pcos but that is certainly the darkest line I've had so far xxx

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/09/2016 15:53

What an honour to be a birth partner. You'll get such good experience for when you go through it! Xxx
