Hi everyone. Hoping to join as AF has arrived earlier today.

TTC #3
Cycle 2
Age 29
Cycle day 1

Ordered ovulation tests as last month was hit and miss with dates so here's hoping to a positive month!

Pyjamas81 · 24/07/2016 09:28

I'm still on the bus! Finally got static smiley face on day 12 of testing and 11 days of flashing smiley faces! Means Ovia has re-jigged fertile week, which means we either dtd today and tomorrow or we miss this month's chance entirely - gah! And we thought we were being so good during what we thought was my FW...

Sammytat · 24/07/2016 10:31

Hello
Ttc cycle 1
Cd9

Hello I'm new and joining! I have three children and I'm ttc #4 first cycle since I had my first af after stopping pill I'm on cd9 and got my flashing smiley this morning and I'm doing the smep!

Wibblewobble100 · 24/07/2016 12:25

That's so frustrating pyjamas! Do you have pretty regular cycles?
What Day does that make you in your cycle? Is this your first time using the clear blue stuff, and do you know if there's much variation from one day to the next?
DH and I have been Focusing on DTD around fertile week, as to be honest if we weren't TTC we'd be pretty happy once a week or less! But maybe we're getting the timing completely wrong. I have really regular 30 day cycle with 2-4 days EWCM so I feel I must ovulate most months but I've never managed to get a positive opk, although to be honest I only test from around CD10-CD18.... If I was having similar to you we would have probably exhausted ourselves after 11 days!!!

Pyjamas81 · 24/07/2016 12:40

Hi wibble - very frustrating, although relieved that I am at least ovulating!! This is my 2nd month using Clearblue digital (and 2nd month TTC) - last month I got a static smiley on CD 11 after a day of low and a day of flashing face, this month it's turned out to be static face on CD19 after 12 days of flashing . I've come off birth control so no idea what my normal cycle is - first real cycle was 32 days and second one was 22 days so who knows! Now hoping that later ovulation this month means my cycle is longer to allow time for implantation. We got a bit lazy over the last few days as I assumed I just wasn't going to ovulate this month, but now our only chances are today and tomorrow! Argh!

We're the same - once a week fine for us as well so three times in one week last week was a lot for us! Esp in that damn heatwave! I don't really get any EWCM, and my temps are all over the place, it's so hard to tell. Would have literally had no idea with these tests! What CD are you on?

Pyjamas81 · 24/07/2016 12:41

*without these tests

Pyjamas81 · 24/07/2016 12:43

I also did a cheapie OPK to confirm as thought digi might be faulty after so many flashing faces - but I can't argue with this positive line! Digi clearly knows more than I do Grin

August Bus
ginandcake · 24/07/2016 13:44

That definitely looks positive pyjamas, get DTD!

I need to stop symptom spotting, it's driving me and DH crazy! I was not like this at all with DD1 and DD2, no idea why I'm so different this time. On CD22 now and boobs have been really sore for the last few days and had some pink discharge yesterday. Also feel quite sick today, although that might be due to some wine consumed yesterday!

Welcome to all the newbies!

Pyjamas81 · 24/07/2016 13:50

Yep gin - definitely early nights for us tonight and tomorrow! We're not daytime DTDers, that would be too weird for us ha ha.

I'm sure I'll be symptom spotting as much as you soon enough! When are you planning on testing?

ginandcake · 24/07/2016 13:59

That would be weird for us too, never have time in the day!

Ovia says I can test in 5 days based on when it looks like I ovulated but AF not actually due for another 9 days based on my previous cycles so going to try and hold out until then.

Pyjamas81 · 24/07/2016 14:05

Oh my, I would find it so hard not to test in 5 days!

Ovia telling me to test in 13 days now that everything has updated - a few days after predicted AF, but who knows what AF will decide to do in August!

ginandcake · 24/07/2016 17:04

Yeah I know, we'll see how long I last!

danigrace · 24/07/2016 18:38

Tree no I haven't kept or photographed opks as I know it will stress me out! They've varied between no line to not quite as dark as control so never had a positive (using them randomly across 2 months).

Welcome Purple Beaut and *Sammy

Wow that's very positive Pjs better get at it!!

Nothing to report here, we've always dtd about 2-4 times a week anyway so just sticking with that and trying to keep things as normal as possible, but I wish something would happen!!
Fingers crossed for everyone!

Writerwannabe83 · 24/07/2016 22:15

danigrace: 2-4 times a week?! That's usually more than I manage in a month Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 24/07/2016 22:20

I'm feeling remarkably relaxed this month.

Because DH sat me down to tell me he didn't want a baby but then still had a 'moment of madness' it genuinely, genuinely doesn't feel like conception is even a possibility. We haven't tried at all this month, we just had that very unexpected session one night so my brain isn't triggering of my usual hysteria, symptom spitting and testing from 6dpo. I just feel so carefree about it all.

Normally I would have about 50 hpts in my bedside drawer ready to start testing but this month I haven't even ordered any and I don't even have the inclination to do so. It's really odd.

Hi all
Can I join?
Ttc #1
Cd5
Cycle 6 (4th since Mmc in late April)
Age 35
I found this cycle and the arrival of AF completely heartbreaking. I think I had just decided that it had worked even though we had gotten our timing a bit screwy. I get ov pain so figured I didn't need to bother with OPK's, well basically after having almost broken DH all through ov pain, three days later more ov pain and ewcm and DH was broken. Anyway on the August bus now and have invested in the digi OPK's.
All the best.

Pyjamas81 · 24/07/2016 23:08

I know blossom - was so surprised when the line came up almost immediately! DTD today Smile Am new to this - I know we should dtd tomorrow as well, but what about the day after? Have to admit it feels strange knowing that it could happen now - am on cycle 2 but we missed FW in last cycle so I wasn't expecting a BFP in the slightest.

Writer - glad you're feeling more relaxed, you never know, you might be pleasantly surprised Smile

2-4 times a week dani! Before TTC we were once a week at most, on good months!

Posted too early!

Sorry AF got you Miami Sad** Good luck with the digi opks and hope this month is your month Smile

Miami81 · 24/07/2016 23:25

Thanks pyjamas.
Just trying to get my head into the next cycle now.

Writerwannabe83 · 25/07/2016 07:33

Hi miami - sorry to hear about your broken husband, I hope he's ok now Smile

I never used to track my ovulation but over the last few months I've been using the cheapie OPKs and they are fab. I tend to find I get my LSH surge about 3 days after I first see EWCM. I've never really had definitive ovulation pain so if it wasn't for my OPKs I wouldn't have any idea when it was occurring.

Ovia is telling me I can test in 9 days and whereas normally I would be doing it FAR earlier than that I think I may do as I'm told this month Smile

McBaby · 25/07/2016 07:40

Hello can I join.

Ttc #3
Cd 21 but I had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago but getting lots of ewcm so presumably will ovulate soon.
Cycle 1 after miscarriage.

danigrace · 25/07/2016 10:00

Writer maybe that's a good sign! Maybe the relaxed feeling is the added ingredient you need xx

Miami welcome. Sorry to hear of your loss, fingers crossed for you Flowers

Pjs oooh exciting.
& you made me laugh pjs & writer lol. We first got together when we were 16 (although he first asked me when I was 13) and we moved in together at 19 (10 years ago), we don't do it anywhere near as much as we did then (we'd often do it a few times in one day on a weekend), even the thought of that just makes me feel exhausted now lol so we have settled into more of a less freakish pattern. Sorry for the tmi haha. But I do often get a bit upset and think if only we'd ttc then prior to pcos and maybe I've missed my window being selfish and postponing so long... but at the same time I know in my heart we weren't ready then but now we are my body just won't work Sad so frustrating!!

McBaby welcome aboard. So sorry to hear of your loss Flowers
