August Bus

Hi everyone here is the August bus carrying on from the one I was on previous month with u ladies.
Fx this is a lucky bus!
Had my implant out yesterday and gp said I should be good to go within a week.

Not too sure how to track so hoping af arrives to kick things off :-)

Ttc no 2
Test due date ??
Cycle 3 or 4 (lost track now!)

I know! One minute I was having a wee in the en-suite and the next minute he appeared from nowhere, grabbed me and off we went Grin

I know we won't get a BFP this month but DTD is a step in the right direction.

Good luck writer, you never know things may be happening right now. And I totally agree, desperate for August so we can have the HPT results, I love a good 'is there a line' thread!

I think I'm out for the month.

Implant out 15 days ago and on Tuesday day 12 I had EWCM and we dtd the day before twice and nothing since.

I did an OPK this morning and it still dark but not as dark as yesterday. How long do the surges last? I always though that one day you'd have a positive OPK and then the next it would be gone?

babydances - when was your positive OPK? When I conceived DS we only DTD twice over the course of 6 days, one time was 5 days before ovulation and the other time was 3 days before.

Thanks writer not doing OPKs and was waiting for af. But then had EWCM so figure I am in my fertile week as its roughly two weeks since implant out

On most of my cycles I get the EWCM about 4 days before I get a positive OPK. I'm not sure if it's the case for everyone but I would imagine EWCM appears in the build up to ovulation not during ovulation itself.

Can you get DTD today?

What are your cycles normally like?

Mine are usually 30-31 days long, EWCM comes about days 13-14 and then I get high OPKs on days 17/18.

Hello everyone my name is Lizzie I'm 29 and was TTC my first child, I got pregnant but sadly am going through a miscarriage at the moment (I was around 6 weeks pregnant). I am absolutely devastated and I feel this has put a huge strain on my relationship, my boyfriend has assured me he won't leave and that we can one day try again but I feel he might just say that to comfort me. I would really like to start trying again as soon as possible but I'm unsure about how to ask him if he wants to. I feel that if he said no it would just add to my grief and sense of loss. I also worry that this miscarriage was due to something physically wrong with me and I am scared it could happen again. I would appreciate advice and support.

Hi lizzie I'm so sorry for your loss - as I said in your other post, I know you'll get through this. I just wanted to say, in the nicest possible way, I was on the July bus with you and was slightly concerned when you said then that you thought you partner would leave you if you couldn't give him a child. Again now, you are terrified he might leave because you have sadly miscarried, and you don't believe his reassurances. Does your partner say things to make you feel that way (if so, he sounds Hmm), or is it you that is unable to trust him? Either way, I think these are issues that you should perhaps think about addressing, before you introduce a baby into the mix which will add plenty of strain all by itself. Just the feeling I get from seeing the posts, and sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick.

lizzie - why on earth would your partner leave you? I think 25% of new pregnancies end in early miscarriage so it's very common.

I miscarried myself in March, three weeks after I got my initial BFP. My DH wanted to try again straight away but I didn't feel ready to until 3 months later.

I'm very sorry to hear about your miscarriage. It worries me though that you imply your partner might leave you over it....

My partner is wonderful and has been so supportive. I guess these doubts stem from my own trust issues and insecurities. We have a good relationship in general but we have been through so much these past few months (not just pregnancy-related) that I fear it might be too much for him and tear us apart. I just couldn't cope with the what ifs relating to this failed pregnancy if he were to leave me but I guess love is a gamble and there are no guarantees either way.

writer we are off on a a mini break with dp dad so no dtd I don't think! Could be awkward!

Hello can I jump onboard please? Af here today. Started TTC in January but gave up due to DH having a few health problems. Now back on it!! Not going to bother with ovulation charts now because it drove me potty last time.

Am miw by the way 27 TTC1

Tentatively joining. Was planning on starting ttc #3 after Christmas but got my dates a bit wrong. We are following the rhythm method and turns out we dtd at the right time accidentally. We conceived DD & DS first month of trying so trying to not get my hopes up too much

Well no BFP here :-( had my fingers crossed bc of the appearance of the ewcm I've not seen in ages and thought something might be happening. Still no AF either, will end up having the Provera from the doc to bring it on if still not here by the time I'm back on 23 Aug.

Hello folks, just catching up on everyone's ups and downs. I had to have week or so of just getting my head away from TTC but I'm back now but not temping or doing opks. CD 14, lots of EWCM today, have been dTD every second night and hopefully next three nights...FC for everyone!

My friend DTD nine days in a row when she was TTC and I was in awe of her stamina!! Unsurprisingly she got her BFP Grin

dani thanks, it's coming off steadily- hope I can keep it up. Keeping the fertility clinic firmly in sight to keep me motivated!
I had what looks like another positive opk yesterday and then back to very faint lines, the PCOS will probably make it really difficult for us to do opk's. Have you got a pic of yours?
Sorry about the bfn Flowers but keep checking for ovulation signs which is probably what you've got wrong!

Dtd twice during what was according to Ovia FW. Currently symptom spotting obsessively. Trying not to get my hopes up too, next week can't get here fast enough!

Also question - is tiny blobs of white cm normal after ov as I have been expecting plentiful thick creamy white discharge but all I get is tiny blobs.

Just had a punk smear when I wiped! Shock I'm only 4dpo so too early I think for implantation bleeding
