Miami well done for being so strong! I'm hoping I can stay strong too. Hoping to wait to test til af is late.
Eva sorry for your bfn. But you're not out til af shows.
Hi freckle welcome :)
Purple really hope this month is your lucky month. Fingers crossed for you.
Skipper I'm still 9 days off af being due. I'm
A 34E so no chance of going braless. It's actually more painful without a bra because everything that brushes past my nipples
hurts. The last time my boobs hurt this much I was pregnant with DD. But they only started hurting like this 2/3 days before af was due. I don't mind them being this painful
If it's for a BFP!

frecklepops · 13/08/2016 10:37

Thank you Niks & Skipper Smile

Sorry to hear your BFN Eva

Skipper I am CD4 but in the middle of some weird bleeding - having AF every 2 weeks. My doc has just started the ball rolling for another round of testing so will have to see what happens next xx

Niks2026 · 13/08/2016 10:53

Sorry to hear you've had a difficult journey so far freckle. It's great your dr is running more tests. Hopefully you'll get some answers and that BFP soon

sk1pper · 13/08/2016 10:57

CD4 too :) but haven't got any weird cycles to contend with, one period a month is enough for me :( hope the testing goes ok, let us know how you get on

I'm taking time out from my strict health routine this weekend. Having parents over for a bbq and even bought 2 bottles of beer for myself. Can't remember the last time I drank but I really need to stop stressing and relax a bit. AF practically over, normally lasts 6 days with spot bleeding a little while after. Can't complain I guess :)

frecklepops · 13/08/2016 18:06

Thank you Niks I'm sure it will all work out fine :)

Skipper it's driving me crazy, literally every 2 weeks since June. First batch of tests came back fine, so will have to see what they have planned next!!

BBQ sounds good, I am about to head to the pub I think one or two G&Ts is just what I need today :)

Purplefairy21 · 13/08/2016 22:14

Cd15 here and sure I'm ovulating! 2 opks at 2pm and 7pm and crampy aches especially in left side. According to ovia not due to ovulate til next week. What dya reckon ladies?

August Bus
Purplefairy21 · 13/08/2016 22:16

Sk1pper I'm 21 so fair gutted. Feel like I'm loosing 15-20 odd years of time to have children.

danigrace · 13/08/2016 22:48

Welcome Freckles. Good luck at the docs

Eva when is AF due?

Miami stay strong!!

Niks when are you due to test again? Hopefully it's a great sign!!

Skipper enjoy your weekend! Sounds lovely

Purple the one on the right looks positive especially!! Get dtd!!

My temp was higher today, was this high a couple weeks ago though for 2 days (although I had a sore throat at the time). I wonder if it will still be high tomorrow

Purplefairy21 · 13/08/2016 22:58

dani the one on the right was the 7pm one. Does this mean I'm ovulating or about to? I've not got any ewcm which is unusual for me Hmm f knows what my body is doing. Waiting for hubby to finish work, I've managed to palm ds onto gp for the night HaloGrin

danigrace · 13/08/2016 23:04

Purple have you had and watery / ewcm the past few days? It usually means you'll ovulate in the next 12-36 hours so get to it asap!!

Purplefairy21 · 13/08/2016 23:22

Definitely watery but not ewcm. Dtd cd 13,14 and 15! Blush practically a miracle with a stroppy threenager lol 😁

Niks2026 · 14/08/2016 08:32

Those opks look great purple. I'd get a few dtd in over the next 2-3 days.

I'm cd24 today. Still crampy, still really sore nipples. Had a tiny bit of spotting this morning with lots of creamy cf.
if my cycles were regular 28 days then I could test in a few days but mine are sometimes 31-32 so am trying to wait. Was going to test the 26th because af would be late by the if not arrived before but ovia thinks I could test the 22nd. I'm so confused and getting impatient now. And to top it off my brother and his wife announced their pregnant yesterday :( I'm happy for them but it makes me want to be pregnant even more.

sk1pper · 14/08/2016 08:59

Purple - you're so young for all this to happen to you. I really feel for you, but I'm sure you'll enjoy being a young cool mother to your two :) best of luck for this month. And yes you're furthest right OPK looks positive to me so you know what to do!

Niks - I completely know how you feel re. family getting pregnant. It's happening all around me and I'm trying to be happy for them but when it's announced it always brings it all home for me and all my OH can do is look over and grab my hand because he knows what's going through my mind. You could do a cheeky test if you wanted too? Might be too early though so I'd personally wait nearer or on AF due date.

Calmisthemantra · 14/08/2016 20:10

I even dreamt last night about POAS Hmm

Lulu298 · 14/08/2016 22:14

Ha ha lol calm!

How is everyone doing? How was your BBQ sk1pper? Hope the beers went down well.

Apart from cutting down on alcohol consumption, is anyone changing anything else about their habits?

Purplefairy21 · 14/08/2016 22:29

So opks coming up negative now, will it really matter if we don't dtd tomorrow? Running out of steam for it and new term starts tomorrow so doubt there will be time for it. Managed cd 13,14,15 and 16.

peasandquiet · 14/08/2016 23:43

Think I'm falling off the bus, spotting and cramps with a horrendous bout of thrush. Will see what tomorrow brings. Also friend I was away with announced her wedding for April next year so BFP this month would mean I probably couldn't go.

peasandquiet · 15/08/2016 07:32

BFN off to September I go. Good luck ladies hope there is no need for me to see you there.

Miami81 · 15/08/2016 08:11

Sorry peas. I am joining you. Big bbt drop this morning, haven't even bothered to poas, I know AF will arrive by lunchtime. Oh well. Good luck to all those still to test, hope to not see you in September.

Niks2026 · 15/08/2016 08:28

Purple I reckon you can have a night off Wink
Sorry peas and Miami. Fingers crossed next month is lucky for you.
I've been dreaming about BFP calm!
I have in this morning an poas. Was expecting a big fat negative anyway as I'm
Only cd25 but couldn't resist.
I really do feel different this month. I need the next week to go quickly!

danigrace · 15/08/2016 09:07

Purple that's a good amount of perfectly timed dtd for your cycle, fingers crossed for you!

Niks on a 31/32 day cycle that could have been implantation bleeding? I hope so!!

So much love and luck to those joining the September bus.

Lulu I've changed a lot but that's with the aim of curing my own pcos...

And on that note... FF has just confirmed ov!!! First time I've ovulated since I came off my pill in October! Had a couple of irregular cycles with no ov, then no cycle at all. Started my in depth heal-myself plan at the end of March and have stuck with it religiously since then - was told I wouldn't have a period without provera & wouldn't ov without clomid. Docs currently deciding based on test results I'm due to get at my next appt (23 Aug) if they will give me clomid or go straight to IVF. But I've just had a model cycle!! Grin came on my period naturally, lots of ewcm at the right time, +ve opks, & now 3 days of high temps confirming ov!!! Can't even begin to tell you all how happy I am!! It's bloody hard work to begin with but I'm so glad I had a go of what mother nature had to offer first bc it certainly seems to be paying off!! GrinGrin

sk1pper · 15/08/2016 11:35

Lulu - bbq was lovely thank you, though the beers gave me instant headache, I think my body has forgotten how to process alcohol. I've done quite a bit health wise, OH and I exercise as much as possible walking 10-15km every weekend. He's lost about 3 stone, I've always been a good weight but still worth getting in shape. Diet wise, we're going for high protein meals, green veg, only drinking water and have cut down caffeine to one cup of green tea in morning and one cup of coffee/tea in evening. Sugar is pretty much a no go but we're not overly strict with it.

Purple - don't overdo it, it shouldn't be stressful or exhausting. Id say you've covered it :)

Peas/Miami - sorry to hear that, good luck for September

Dani - this is really great news, it really is remarkable what people can achieve without medical intervention if they work hard enough at it and you are a text book example. Have you been actively trying up to now despite the funny cycles? How exciting :D

lingo · 15/08/2016 16:15

I'm still here. I'm now into the stage of waiting to see whether AF arrives about 25/26th of the month. DTD a lot last week so not much more I can do this month other than continue to DTD just in case/for fun! Good luck to everyone else still on the August bus.

lousylear · 15/08/2016 16:33

Lingo I'm same as you. Still dtd too! Be glad when in know either way though. Might do an early test at the weekend.

Niks2026 · 15/08/2016 16:52

Dani that's fantastic news. So pleased for you! I agree with skipper, it's incredible what you can achieve without medication if you make the right changes.
I hope you are right with the implantation bleeding. One minute I think yeh I reckon I'm pregnant and the next I fall back to reality and think don't be stupid no you're not. It's such an emotional roller coaster. The 2ww has been the longest so far!
