Hi everyone here is the August bus carrying on from the one I was on previous month with u ladies.
Fx this is a lucky bus!
Had my implant out yesterday and gp said I should be good to go within a week.

Not too sure how to track so hoping af arrives to kick things off :-)

Test due date ??
Cycle 3 or 4 (lost track now!)

CD17 and still no peak on my CBFM, which is a record for me. I did forget to test on CD14 so maybe I just missed it. Blimmin eck. Best get a couple more BDs in I spose

Hey Upthetree we tried SMEP one month but totally ran out of steam before ovulation and it was a bit of a mare for us. I think it depends on your sex drive (ours is low to start with and ttc has only made it worse tbh) and whether it becomes a chore. If you are both pretty keen on sex then it is probably quite fun and def makes sense! We are now doing every other day from CD12-18 plus using a CBFM just to hopefully make sure we have covered the right part of cycle as that is about as much as we can face. I know we are probably a bit weird but we are just knackered a lot of the time and would really prefer to cuddle up than have sex. On cycle 7 now and no BFP so not a ringing endorsement for our approach of course! Hope you soon get your BFP

We've been BDing at least every other day since AF stopped. Well after +ve opk last night all my copious watery stretchy cm which I had for about 5 days has up and left this morning... Just a bit sticky, mostly dry. I've no idea what on earth is happening.

Skipper the 2 strong opks I did about 10pm, the others at lunchtime and one early evening. I am temping so will see what that throws up over the next few days! Still low atm.
I sometimes had the odd light period Skipper, usually the one following would seem to be a bit longer & heavier to make up for it!! Fingers crossed you won't get a next one for a while though & get bfp instead!!

Tree thanks for that, I didn't know ovulation bleeding was a thing, was freaking out a little bit! This is the first time I've possibly ovulated since I came off my pill in Oct so everything that is happening is completely new to me. We haven't done smep but have just stuck to at least every other day, DH has slightly low sperm count so every other better than eveey day for that apparently.

Rational like you say maybe you missed itvon CD14 - sounds like you'd have still been covered though

I was going to do the SMEP this cycle but I'm having second thoughts. I'm worried I'll be putting too much pressure on DH, hes already done everything I ask with regards to diet, multi vitamins and exercise - feel like a slave driver.

Probably best to play it by ear and see if it suits you as a couple I guess.

Dani maybe you have ovulated then cos CM is supposed to dry up pretty fast after O? If so I would expect a temp shift tomorrow or the day after

Sk1pper I had spotting around AF time when I conceived my first. Are you definitely out this month?

Oh and think I have some EWCM today. Does that mean I have already ovulated or am about to? I can't remember.

Lulu - I thought that at first but...well without giving TMI - it's definitely a period. it's a little more than spotting now but still much less than I am used to.

Rational - I'm with you on SMEP. I properly enjoy sex maybe once or twice a month. Everything else is just dtd for the sake of it.

Lulu it's your fertile CM that happens the days leading up to ov & at ov (the sperm can sometimes survive in it a few days whilst waiting for ov)

Is anyone else waiting to test after the weekend (Mon/Tue?)

AF due today but no sign yet and am imagining all sorts of symptoms! However today is CD 28 and AF can arrive anything from day 26 to day 30 so just going off the average(usually cycle is 25-28 days but had a couple of months last summer that were 30 according to Clue).

Luckily I'm mega busy over the weekend so if I can get through this afternoon I doubt I'll have the opportunity to test until Monday at least!

Pirate. I really want to wait til Tuesday as that is cd28. But my cycles are 26 days normally so you know I will be madly poas on Sunday morning. What are the most sensitive ones? I did an IC this morning at dpo9 but it was a bfn.

Miami I'm not sure what the most sensitive are... I have a First Response early detection one in the cupboard which says up to 6 days before missed period, but that seems very early to me... I try not to test that early though because the chance of a false BFN is so much higher and I know once I start testing I'll want to test every day until AF or BFP! I'm TTC#1 though so have never had a positive one, don't know what others would recommend?

Pirate when I tested for my previous pregnancy I used a clear blue digi, but that was because I had definitely gone past when AF was due and I pretty much knew I was pregnant and just wanted to see it written down. I have seen much chat about frer's, I think I will grab one of them tomorrow and test with fmu on Sunday.
I know - I tried to stop myself this morning, I think it is way harder to get through a weekend not testing. I am obsessed with poas though now. Ttc#1 as well after a mc earlier this year. Best of luck for Tuesday.

Sort of hovering between the August and September bus. Ovia says af due 2nd but others say between 26th- 28th. Finally braved myself to posting today. Ttc#2 and unfortunately last as I need an operation on my hips and pelvis that means I will no longer be able to have children not even via c-section. Cycle 1, Cd14 here and poas like mad trying to find ov. Since the doc has told me I need this op and what it means it's kicked off massive baby boom in my head.

Hey hope there is room for a little one on here... Been TTC for what seems like a billion cycles. Had a bit of see what happens time but I'm starting to take things seriously again after locum doc told me if I was planning on getting upduffed I better get a wiggle on with my age!! The cheeky (insert favourite swear word) swine!! Grrr.

Niks - I had the same with the sore boobs before AF was due. Luckily I'm small enough I could go bra les for a few days which helped massively.

Freckle - hi freckle and welcome. I'm cycle 13 so we can keep each other company :) what cycle day are you atm?
