Hi everyone here is the August bus carrying on from the one I was on previous month with u ladies.

Had my implant out yesterday and gp said I should be good to go within a week.

Diet - yep that's stronger than your last line. How exciting :)

SoozC · 11/08/2016 08:13

Congrats, Knitting!

I am convinced af is on the way; bad cramps yesterday and some spotting (11dpo). Af not due until tomorrow earliest though. But no sign yet and no spotting so far today.

Niks2026 · 11/08/2016 08:22

Another clear line there diet!

Cd21 for me on what's normally a 30 day cycle. I reckon I'm about 4/5 DPO possibly 6 as I don't use opks I can't be sure. But I've got quite bad cramps and boobs are even more tender today. I remember my ridiculously painful boobs when I was pregnant with DD but had bfn tests until at least 3 days late for af.
Ovia says test on the 22nd but am still hoping to be strong and hold on until the 26th. Somehow got to keep busy and distracted for the next 2 weeks.

sk1pper · 11/08/2016 10:48

Niks - why don't you use OPKs? I don't mean that in a way that suggests you should be, I'm just curious. You know your body better than anyone and it sounds like you could just be wasting tests if you do it now. Have you got any cheapies?

Niks2026 · 11/08/2016 14:39

I thought about ordering some opks this cycle even though it's only our second month ttc but because we've been on holiday and in Disney I didn't get round to it. I fell quickly with my first and within 2 cycles with my second. I think if there's no BFP this month I'll order some. I'm pretty sure I felt ovulation this month but it would be great to know exactly when.
I'm trying not to symptom spot for the next 10-14 days but even though I'm only 5 or so DPO I've got very tender boobs and feeling quite queasy and crampy.

TryingToStayRational · 11/08/2016 14:46

Plonks bag on seat

Age 34
TTC#1
Cycle 7
ETD Aug 22nd ish

General summary: Bored of this now. Mostly pretty chilled except during the end of tww when I tend to lose the plot slightly.

Good luck to everyone in this crazy little world, hope August is your month!

sk1pper · 11/08/2016 14:48

Wow whats your secret to falling pg so quickly? I'm not surprised you haven't bothered to get OPKs then, but if it will give you peace of mind for #3 maybe you can give them a go. Good luck for this cycle!!

Niks2026 · 11/08/2016 15:23

I wasn't desperately actively trying so ovulation etc wasn't on my radar. We just had a very active sex life and were very relaxed about ttc. I really do think the pressure of ttc can cause so much stress that it goes against you. I am extremely lucky, blessed and thankful I fell quickly with my 2 girls. My heart really does go out to all ladies who have a much longer and difficult journey.
My boobs are so twingey this afternoon and I'm feeling really sick. Surely these are not symptoms already though?? I've had dreams about this month being a BFP. Cannot believe I've got to wait another 2 weeks. Shock

sk1pper · 11/08/2016 15:45

I was laid back for the first six months, we were DTD a lot and we had cut alcohol out completely but I didn't test for anything. After six months things started getting serious, OPKs, change of diets, DH lost 3 stone (so proud of him) and multivitamins. Don't feel stressed just anxious, just this niggling feeling somethings wrong.

Not sure about your symptoms though, how early is it possible to have them?

Niks2026 · 11/08/2016 17:57

That's fantastic about DH. Well done to him. And that's great making all those changes. Do you feel better for them? How long have you been ttc?
I read on another post that it's most common to have symptoms around 10dpo which is the earliest hcg can be detected in a hpt. It's also possible to feel implantation by a way of cramps and spotting which happens around 6/7 DPO. One lady commented that she tracked every little symptom from the day after ovulation that lead to her getting her BFP! So who knows, every woman is different and each pregnancy is unique.

sk1pper · 11/08/2016 18:20

Yeah feel great for all the changes, just doesn't seem to have helped our fertility in any way. I'm cycle #13 now. Interesting about the symptoms, but youre right - every woman's different so it's hard to judge.

Trying - hi btw, missed your post. Good luck for your test day.

Upthetree100 · 11/08/2016 19:56

Hi August bus
Disappointingly I'm out 'till next month
Good luck to you all!
And congrats to the bfp's! Flowers

Eva30 · 11/08/2016 20:37

Congrats dietcoke
Hi niks and trying
sooz are you testing this weekend?
Anyone else testing this weekend?
I'm on cd27, 10dpo, will probably test on Sunday.

MrsGsnow18 · 11/08/2016 21:21

Just checking in again even though I had abandoned for the Sept bus.

Anyone here experience implantation bleeding?
AF not due to next week ( but had cruelly shown up early before) very light brownish spotting today ( sorry TMI) if it's gone by tomorrow I will be overjoyed!!
Won't rest until AF due on Monday though

ginandcake · 11/08/2016 22:19

Definitely another line there diet, congrats.

Sorry AF arrived sk1pper, are you going to go back to the GP now? I think you should, especially as you can show all the positive changes you've made I.e. DHs weight loss.

Welcome trying

We are very similar niks, conceived DD1 within 2 months and DD2 within one. Now on month 3 and still trying(!) to stay reasonably relaxed about it all so not using OPKs. That may change if things go on for longer.

Never had implantation bleeding before MrsG, fingers crossed it's what you're having now.

danigrace · 11/08/2016 22:21

Hi girls, had a long day, soooo tired.
My temp wasn't higher than usual this morn which I checked 3 times was a bit disappointed about. Still a bit of ewcm today but tinged pink this afternoon, what's that all about?? CD15

Welcome Trying
Sorry Tree Flowers good luck in Sept.
Skipper that's awesome about yours & DH's healthy switch ups, really hope it stsrts paying off big for you!
Congrats Diet

Hope everyone is good. So soory if I've missed something key. So. So. Tired.

Niks2026 · 11/08/2016 22:23

Hi Eva. How are you feeling, any pg symptoms? Do you track ovulation? Mrsgsnow how come you abandoned for the September bus before af arrived? You're not out until she shows.
My boobs are unbelievably sore this evening. Still having some cramps also. Only 5/6 DPO though and at least 10-14 days before testing.

Niks2026 · 11/08/2016 22:35

Sorry gin I didn't see a few of the posts in the thread. How similar are our stories. I'm the same, if not a BFP this cycle I might try using opks.

ginandcake · 11/08/2016 22:42

I know, also meant to add that I'm testing on around the 25th. Ovia says I can test on the 21st but going to hold out until the 25th when AF is due. I'm worried I'll find OPKs too confusing. Did try them with DD2 briefly and didn't get them and got pregnant anyway!

sk1pper · 11/08/2016 22:59

Niks/gin - don't worry too much about OPKs, as long as you DTD often throughout the month you'll be covered. Oh and yeah going to doctors again soon, this time with DH....long wait though. Can't wait for AF to finish so I can start trying again.

Dani - hey :) wondered where you'd got to

danigrace · 12/08/2016 00:36

Oooh Niks sounds good, fingers crossed for you, you too Gin

Skipper hi! [waves]

Well after I thought I maybe had a positiveish opk on CD12 (the pic I posted), then less of a line CD13, & nothing CD 14 -today (CD15) has just done this opk...
And my ewcm was tinged a bit pinking this afternoon.
I'm soooo confuuuused.

August Bus
Eva30 · 12/08/2016 05:15

That's definitely positive dani, get BDing!Wink
Hi niks yes I track ov using the clear blue monitor, had peak reading on cd17. My temps have been steadily rising too but I'm worried they're going to take a nosedive and AF will show! Had a few cramps and was sooo bloated early in the week but that seems to have stopped now. I was convinced AF was going to arrive. Do you temp? You'll be coming up to implantation time soon won't you?

sk1pper · 12/08/2016 07:47

Dani - you have a long LH surge by the looks of things, not sure why you have a drop in between - did you test at the same time each day? The only way you can be sure to know which day you've ovulated on is to temp check and look for the drop.

Not only was AF two days earlier than normal, it's unusually lighter. I'm used to the same cycle month after month does anyone know if this is an indication of anything?

Niks2026 · 12/08/2016 08:25

Gin af is due for me on the 22nd but my cycles can vary by a couple of days so was going to wait until the 26th. I'm bridesmaid at my best friends wedding on the 27th and would definitely being having a few drinks. So hopefully I'll know one way or the other by then.
Skipper we dtd at least 4 times over the 7 day window. Hopefully we've hit ovulation.
Dani that looks good to me definitely get Bding!!!
Eva do you know what cd you were bloated and cramping? I've been crampy with very sore boobs over cd21/22 which is 6/7 ish DPO. So could be implantation maybe?? No I've never temped. I don't have the time to be consistent with temping and it would frustrate me trying to keep track of a teeny tiny degree change.

Upthetree100 · 12/08/2016 08:47

Dani that looks like a definite positive ^

It sounds like your ewcm is tinged pink due to ovulation bleeding, all good signs!!

On CD6 AF showing no signs of packing her bags. Thinking of trying the smep plan, or a variation, this cycle but don't know if we will be able to stick to it for the whole month.

Does anybody have any (good or bad) experiences to share?
