August Bus

Hi everyone here is the August bus carrying on from the one I was on previous month with u ladies.
Fx this is a lucky bus!
Had my implant out yesterday and gp said I should be good to go within a week.

Not too sure how to track so hoping af arrives to kick things off :-)

Test due date ??
Cycle 3 or 4 (lost track now!)

As part of the pact I will promise not to buy any HPTs whilst I'm in town tomorrow, I shall resist the urge! I drive myself absolutely crazy last cycle so I need to just calm down now.

I do have a feeling AF will arrive in the morning though, over the last few hours I have been having my normal period cramps.

On the plus side, whilst watching OBEM I started a conversation about girl's names and DH engaged and said what names he liked....

AF due on the 25th I think, but cycles not quite right yet after having the mirena coil out.

I work in a GP surgery writer, and yes I have pinched one or two! What about you?

OK, I have surrendered them all, and I vow that I will not test until the 25th, no matter what symptoms I think I may have!

Yeah definitely only a little, have just calculated my date if I conceive on this cycle

I work on the Infant Unit (ages 0-2) so no pregnancy tests on my ward but today I was despatched to the Adolescent Unit (ages 13+) so there were lots of easily accessible pregnancy tests!!

Knowing my luck I would have been caught had I decided to ram a load into my pocket

I like the pact. I shall try. I think test date for me will be the 16th. However cycles to date have been 26 days so I will either have AF on the 14th or poasing like a crazy person. That will only be 10dpo though. Seems awful short for luteul phase. Trying not to focus on negative things, but still a bit of a worry.

I bought the cheapys off amazon too but it's meant that I'm more inclined to use them whenever the hell I want.

I'm with you blossom, no tests this moth unless AF is late (which it never is).

My af is supposed to be due on Sunday so OK then I will try and hold out till then. Have a feeling af might show up before then anyway but my cycle has been quite weird lately, anything from 24 to 31 days.

I'm in too. Af due a week on Friday, will test sat. Have family party so would like to know ideally so I can drink. Though my periods are pretty clockwork so af highly likely to arrive on time if it's coming. I really shouldn't spend any money on tests!

In comparison to last month it is now 3 days later. I genuinely thought I would wake up to it this morning as I felt a bit crampy last night but I guess not.

I hate having late AF and BFNs, it's so frustrating!!!!

I just had a wee and after wiping there were a few spots of orange/brown blood so maybe AF is on her way after all....

Hi all bus passengers! Recap on me - 29yo, ttc#1, cycle 4. I think I'm 2dpo now, test date around 13th August. Used the CB monitor for the first time this month. Another tww begins..

Am trying not to symptom spot as am on like day 1/2 post ovulation. But woke last night to weird tummy pain like tightning and mild tummy cramps. This is prob all in my head but have never felt that sensation before.

I'm sure when AF is late and your not pregnant it's your bodies way of laughing at you.

Hellloo August bus!! How is everyone?

I am really confused about what my body is doing. I was on the July bus with my never ending cycle and time has ticked on so we're now in August!

I started bleeding on Monday which was CD53 however I'm not sure if it was a period. Normally my periods go from brown to dark red and are quite heavy from day 2/3 and last for 5/6 days. This however was bright red for 1.5 days and was light (more than can be called spotting but light iykwim). And no cramping. I think I'm still going to go to the doctors. I'm on holiday right now so can't do much till next week.

So I have no idea if I am CD55 or CD3

I had huge ovulation pain this month, normally get zip. I'm hoping that means it's a good egg :D

Positive OPK just now so didn't miss it yesterday Not sure I can face any more DTD I'm knackered and DH not home till late tonight. Will be testing around the 15th. I'm away with friends for the week before so that should hold me back from POAS early. Cupboard is stocked with Frer's and digi's as I love a posh HPT otherwise I don't believe them anyway!

Writer I think the opk's are supposed to be a bit more sensitive than hpts but I'm not 100% sure... When is AF due, or is it already late? Sounds promising your DH is 'softening' slightly!

Gin I'm about synced with you (if my cycle decides to behave), AF finished yday morn.

So I gave in to the craziness of testing early 9dpo and have 4 very faint positives (I didn't believe the first 3). A bit apprehensive as I have only been getting negatives some miscarrige for the past week!

I will test again tomorrow and going for a darker line!

(Out of interest I also used an okp too and there was a definite pink second line)

I am 9dpo as well and trying with all my might to resist testing until the weekend! AF due yesterday according to Ovia, but cycles are crazy so not sure I trust it. It's telling me to wait until Saturday, so that's what I will do!

Hello lovely August bus ladies! Been a bit quiet lately, attempting to have a more relaxed month TTC. Seeing as we are redoing introductions: 29yo, TTC #1, cycle 3, cd23.

Congrats on the bfp Mcbaby! this bus seems to be full of them this month, so well done everyone on their bfps.

Pyjamas, we are sort of synced up. Also 9dpo, but my AF isn't due until next Thursday. Am resisting the frer hpt until Saturday. In the meantime, I'm using the OPKs to see if there's anything. Honestly think I'm out this month, and am doing my best not to symptom spot.

Sounds promising Mc Baby, good luck! I'm sick of the 2ww now, just want it to happen already. :( if AF arrived this month I've promised DH I'll book us in to see the GP, he's so laid back about it so I know he's just saying that for my peace of mind.

What's Ovia by the way? Is it an app? I'm using Clue to record AF and ovulation atm, pretty useful software.

AF just arrived with full force. I'm guessing maybe a slight chemical pg due to squint of a line then totally negative and delayed period when I'm normally very regular.

I've been lurking on this thread for a while, thought I'd say hi. I am 31, TTC #1, Cycle 2.

Mishy, you said you're using OPKs during your 2ww - is that some sort of early pregnancy indicator? I am wondering what to do, as AF due tomorrow according to Glow app but more like Sunday/Monday according to me, and I am due a big night out on Friday (a friend's hen do). I'd really like to drink if I'm not pg, so any way of getting an early indication would be good!

I have no symptoms, and I just don't feel like I'm pg - only thing is my temps have been consistently high since ovulation...

Hmmm. Wine beckons, but thinking I should be sensible. Can OPKs help?!
