Hi. Not sure I have caught up with everyone's posts but;
Yes baby bombs absolutely everywhere at the moment, genuinely feels like a little place inside of me cries for every one. Because I am happy for them, I just want them to wait until I am sorted first. How dare other people progress with their lives when we are in ttc limbo. Have had a serious chat with myself today about being loopy, when I was already using the nhs due date calculator to check when we would be due if we got pregnant this cycle. Of which I am on cd6 and the NHS judged me (rightly so)........

Miami81 · 25/07/2016 20:32

Hopefully the emotions and illness are BFP related gin. Fx

ginandcake · 25/07/2016 20:40

Hopefully Miami but not convinced! I have been doing that for months as well, totally crazy isn't it. Glad I'm not the only one! You know you are mad though when the calculator says you are minus 12 weeks pregnant etc!

misstiggiwinkle · 25/07/2016 20:52

Blossom the lines came up really quickly, before I'd finished dipping, however took about 15 mins or so to get dark and then I rechecked about 30 mins later and they were darker than the control (I think - so hard to judge!). I had dark ones yesterday too and so assumed they were the +ve ones but today's are definitely darker. Dtd on Saturday and Sunday and will do again today but now worrying a bit that we might have overdone it and reduced quality? It gets difficult to stick to every other day when you think you get a +ve opk!

I'm also temping this month but my chart seems to be a bit all over the place.

Using preseed as well - throwing everything at it this month!

Miami81 · 25/07/2016 21:14

I'm on the cough medicine to see if that helps! DH doesn't like it to be such a drama so not sure how he would react to the preseed stuff!!

danigrace · 26/07/2016 00:03

Hi Midrog & Ever (waves) it can be hard can't it? Especially when combined with 'we weren't even trying' Envy
Blossom I also has a big FB clean out a while back - it's now only people I would call up and go for a cup of tea with. And I like it much better that way.
Tiggi certainly looks positive to me!! Get dtd!!
Gin big hugs - hope you feel better fast. Fingers crossed for bfp.
& lol Miami I feel you with the calc!!

Officially welcome to the bus blossom! Annoying re: AF but good it's resembling normality Smile Would love a bit of normality! Fingers crossed this is your month Smile

DTD again last night and going to try to again tonight for luck - we're both looking forward to a DTD break to be honest!

ginandcake · 26/07/2016 11:40

Yey, welcome Blossom!

Feeling better today thanks, still a bit sick. Just trying to resist the urge to POAS. I feel my resolve slowly slipping away!

Midrog · 26/07/2016 15:02

Pyjamas there is nothing like trying to make a baby to completely remove all romance from DTD is there! The only good part about the 2ww is DH stays away from me Wink

Pyjamas81 · 26/07/2016 15:24

That's so true midrog - would honestly rather reorganise my pants drawer ha ha. Just one more night and we can both relax!

Until I start the deranged symptom spotting and squinting at lines of course ha ha ha

Do people carry on drinking during 2ww?

everdene · 26/07/2016 18:21

Thanks for your understanding all - I would never share it IRL so I appreciate having this thread to splurge out the horrible envy then I can slap a grin on and be ready with praise and congratulations!

Had two baby showers last weekend and I am afraid I did come home and cry a bit at my DH who was slightly Confused at me!

That said, then he couldn't 'perform' when we tried a Quickie in the morning so maybe I over shared with him!

So at the moment my boobs are like rocks, I have a terrible headache and I got cystitis from over enthusiastic BDing last week. I'm only 8dpo but I did a test today - bfn, of course!

Pyjamas I've carried on having the odd drink during the 2ww but have definitely cut down recently.

Pyjamas81 · 26/07/2016 20:07

Drinking (in moderation) it is then Smile

I haven't used the CBFM blossom so can't advise on that - I use the CB dual hormone predictor. Drove me batshit crazy this cycle with 12 flashing smiley faces, but that was more due to my crazy cycles more than something wrong with the kit - I think I started testing too early.

As for Preseed- I use Conceive Plus which is pretty much the same thing. No idea how effective it actually is as am only on first real cycle really TTC, but I actually like it more than the more commonly used lube!

Sorry it's all feeling so hard everdene - how long have you been TTC? You're right, these boards are brilliant - the support is brilli

everdene · 26/07/2016 20:20

Pyjamas I've only been TTC since March - but I have been waiting four years for my DH to be ready! (We're 32).

So it feels like lots longer!

I use Preseed too, I do rate it (not worked yet though!)

Pyjamas81 · 26/07/2016 20:27

Well if you've wanted it that long I'm not surprised it gets to you! Hope you get a lovely BFP soon Smile

ginandcake · 26/07/2016 20:28

I have been drinking, in moderation though! Really don't think it makes much difference at this stage. With regards to diet I guess I'm trying to be generally healthier. What about you Blossom?

Sorry about the BFN *everdene, 8dpo is early though so hopefully your BFP will come soon.

Wibblewobble100 · 26/07/2016 20:36

Okay this is probably a really stupid question, but how do use preceed? Apply to DP or yourself?

Pyjamas81 · 26/07/2016 20:41

I apply to DH and myself - I produce close to zero CM (sorry tmi), so need all the help I can get to make things comfortable!

Theknittinggorilla · 26/07/2016 20:45

I don't abstain in 2ww but don't have too much and don't really drink when I get to right around testing date. Though everything I have read suggests it does no harm at all at that stage. 2ww is miserable (and long) enough! I am in fact enjoying a nice glass of red now (though am not into the 2ww just yet).

Pyjamas81 · 26/07/2016 20:48

red wine... Might help me get in the mood for one more go at dtd later! Actually, would definitely fall asleep early and not bother which is what I really want to do , herbal tea it is ha ha

babydances · 26/07/2016 21:08

I try not to go crazy in the TWW but still drinking. I'm taking a much more chilled out approach this month. I'm now on what I believe to be 5dpo and af due I think on 4th August. I'd going by cm. Remembering of course had implant out so could be completely wrong.

I've been feeling quite blasé about ttc this month. More of a if it happens happens. As I'm quite enjoying my life at the moment. The gym, my pole fitness classes, holidays, and know these things will have to change somewhat if I do get pregnant.

We've also been trying so he April so getting abit tired tracking! Sad

My friend has just posted pictures on her FB page to announce the arrival of the their third child Envy

5dpo today and still feeling quite carefree.....

misstiggiwinkle · 26/07/2016 22:07

I like preseed, especially for quickies and when you know you have to did but would rather sort your sock drawer Wink. I got my BFP last time on my 2nd month of using it. Having said that, it's been about 7 months so far this time and no BFP yet but I haven't been as committed as I am this month.

I tend to stop drinking or at least really cut back.

Has anyone found any really decent decaf instant coffee? I'm a Nescafé azura fan but can't find anything that comes close decaf wise
