Welcome cat CD1 for me so fired up the CBFM this morning too! Last time I used it I only got highs so let's hope we both get peaks.

Good luck with the opk / temping this month expat

I caved and tested bfn, so just have to wait now for af to show. But that's ok onwards and upwards. In terms of timing I wouldn't of been entirely happy about this month so it's not the end of the world really. Might just wait until the winter now although my gynae said I should take these things when they come but both dc were both conceived first month or trying so it's obviously breastfeeding holding up a bfp this time. So I think I need to concentrate more on weaning than ttc for a while.

Sorry bout your bfn JP
I was also getting a bit fed up of nothing happening, we conceived lo in first month too so I knew BF was the problem.
Good luck with the weaning Smile

Thank you pumpkinpie and lullaby. After doing the test this morning I decided to go for a run because I was putting off running the last few days in case I was pregnant. Anyway just after my run I needed to pee and there was a bit of brown when I wiped so either implantation or my period is on the way??

sorry about your test jp but if AF doesn't come then do still test again in a couple of days. I also pregnant 1st time trying last time so its frustrating to be in this situation... I'm hoping weaning will help here so good luck on the weaning game!

Welcome cat!!

I'm 34
Ttc#2
Cycle 18 (?) Not sure
DD almost 2 years old, had been feeding roughly a million times a day but I have decided to just nurse in the morning when we wake up, after lunch and at bed time, with a view to dropping the lunchtime feed in about 3 or 4 weeks.

I had a strong positive opk on Saturday afternoon and DTD Saturday night. Not been able to manage it sInce (DH and I work shifts) but hopefully that'll do the trick. Cycle day 15 with cycles usually around 27 days so officially in the 2ww.

Sorry about the BFN jp

Hi everyone (and welcome Cat), sorry for the radio silence for the last few days. Hope you're all doing well.

jp I'm really sorry - I know how disappointing it is to get a BFN when you're sure you've felt symptoms. You've done amazingly well breastfeeding until now, especially with an older one too - very inspiring!

I've been taking 1000mg Angus for about a week now, as well as a B-50 complex for the same length of time. I guess I won't find out if it's made a difference until the end of this cycle; I'm CD 13 right now and no real signs of anything happening. Temping has been a bit of a failure this month to be honest (keep forgetting/not enough sleep beforehand), so I don't think it's going to be a very good guide for me this cycle. I guess I'll go on CM and maybe crack out the OPKs when I start seeing changes.

One thing I have been having for about 4-5 days now is a sharp pulled muscle feeling in my lower abdomen/uterus area when tensing or making sudden movements, combined with a bit of back pain at times. Obviously I've googled this and obviously I got very excited that it might be round ligament pain (even though my last period was only like 10 days ago...), but I POAS this morning and BFN. Obviously. So no idea what that's about - probably pulled something cranking DD's carseat into the back of our 2-door hatchback Confused

My stats:

Jooni
Age 23 (I'm a baby!)
DD aged 9 months
TTC #2
Cycle 3
Taking Agnus Castus, B-50 complex and Vit C; charting fairly non-committally atm but aiming to start temping next cycle.

Cycle 1 (of trying properly)
Currently feeding DS 7 times a day including 3 overnight feeds.

What do you girls think? I am not sure how many dpo I am. But I got faint tests in April that ended in a chemical so I am a bit worried as a part from sore boobs when ds is feeding I have no other symptoms.

Is this a positive test? I took a relaxed approach this month so I don't know when I ovulated. Today is cd 30. I had a chemical in April so I am scared stiff.

jp, I definitely see a faint line! I think that's a faint positive - test again tomorrow or this evening maybe? Tentative congratulations! Smile

I bought some CB digital and I haven't peed since doing test this morning but I don't know whether to take one or just wait maybe until tomorrow or Sunday. In April when I had a chemical I got a faint on first response two days in a row and then a couple of days later took a digital to find it saying not pregnant so I am petrified of the same happening

Jooni · 24/06/2016 12:54

jp if you can hold off, I'd advise waiting until tomorrow morning or maybe even the morning after to test. Since hcg roughly doubles every 48 hours in a healthy pregnancy, you should see a clearer result by then if you are.

I totally understand your dilemma but I think if you test now with the digi and get a negative, you still won't really have that finality because you'll know that it could just be too early to pick it up. Waiting a day or two will make you feel more certain of the result either way. Best of luck!!

jp I can see a line there. Hold on tight until Sunday morning if you can but it looks hopeful.

No news here. Weaning not going well. Up at 5 and let DD nurse watching paw patrol while I ignored her reading referendum stuff.

Ooh, good luck, JP! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Very impressed that your DD can watch television while feeding. DS just bobs back and forth giving me accusing looks because my breast didn't follow his head round as well as daddy's bottle!
