How are you doing Pumpkinpie. 2 days ago I was sure I was pregnant (feeling the same nausea as I did with the previous pregnancy and heavy boobs). SO yesterday morning I tested...bfn...which is to be expected seeing as I was only day 24. So now going to try and wait patiently for the weekend to even consider testing/hope that AF doesn't appear.

boatrace30 · 21/09/2016 07:20

Previous post should have said "not been great at temp charting". Anyway bfn this morning so back in the world of irregular cycles. Lots of ewcm (I thought it was AF) so maybe I'm now ovulating??

Fingers crossed pumpkin and abrahamkin

Pumkinpie1 · 21/09/2016 08:32

Sorry about your bfn Boat.
Fingers crossed for you Abraham !
I'm day 28 today did test was bfn but only ovulated day 17/18 so only 11 days post Ov.
I don't have any pregnancy symptoms ( didn't last time until 6 weeks) but don't feel like AF is coming either
I'm really hoping I get chance to retest Saturday morning

lullaby23 · 22/09/2016 13:19

Thank you for the congrats.
writer I really sympathise, I am so impatient I was thinking I'd have to wean but DS fed more than usual so it clearly wasn't the defining factor! You know you are fertile because of your sad loss so it probably isn't 100% necessary. Can you think of anything positive to do instead? Supplements? B6 is meant to be good I took it for a couple of months. Also totally anecdotal but both times I've fallen pregnant we have DTD earlier than my FW no idea if that is why!

Good luck to everyone with your upcoming pg tests, don't trust the ICs they are so crap until AF is late!

oatybiscuits · 22/09/2016 22:40

Lullaby what's ICs? I'm finding feeding excruciating at the moment, and trying to figure out if it's a symptom or teething! Sort of hoping it's the latter as that st least won't last as long as pregnancy, but it's very odd. I've been off the pill a month, no af yet I poas on Tuesday but negative.... I wish there was a way to just look and see what's going on!

lullaby23 · 23/09/2016 09:01

oaty I mean the internet cheapie strip pregnancy tests although they're meant to be sensitive they are not as good as a proper test!

Pumkinpie1 · 23/09/2016 09:30

Well I got a second bfn today with ics so I guess that's me out just wait for AF to turn up
Getting a bit down hearted, was first month with lo that's forth month now Sad

NappingRabbit · 24/09/2016 21:22

Sorry pumkin - I'm in the same boat. First time lucky with DS and I'm in the 2ww of cycle 3 now and not feeling very optimistic.

Pumkinpie1 · 25/09/2016 10:01

Fingers crossed for u napping !
Still waiting for AF on day 32 now ! Never had a cycle this long Can vitamin b6 cause this. ?

curliegirlie · 25/09/2016 15:22

Well, after 13 months I'm finally on my first PP AF! No idea what to expect re cycle length, as for most of the time we were ttc last time round I had undiagnosed hypothyroidism, so my cycles were completely loopy for the first 10 months. Though this time round my thyroid levels are under control....

For those whose periods also took a while to return is it your experience that you became fertile quite quickly? I've read in a few places that fertility returns quicker the later cycles have returned.....

Xalonera · 26/09/2016 14:49

Thanks boat you're right it is such a good feeling - finally! I'm sorry to hear about your bfn, has AF turned up?

According to my fertility app I'm currently in my FW so we're DTD every other day. Although not holding out much hope for the first cycle.

Pumkinpie1 · 26/09/2016 15:31

Hi xanolera glad your on your way! Good luck
no still no AF, but wondering if to buy a clear blue n test again tomorrow as that's day 35 n having a few symptoms that could be pregnancy or just AF hormones

Good luck curlie, any news or symptoms napping ?

boatrace30 · 26/09/2016 15:54

I'm now on day 35 and still no AF. Not unusual for pre pregnancy me but did have nausea over weekend and ended up doing three tests (also ICs) all bfn. Then have had lots and lots of ewcm so convinced myself I was ovulating (after convincing myself I was pregnant) but haven't been able to dtd due to thrush which I have now had twice since weaning (I used to get it a lot but never whilst breastfeeding). So not likely this cycle. But maybe good as would have been a very similar due date to dds birthday. pumpkin sounds like we are in a very similar position right now!!

NappingRabbit · 26/09/2016 16:22

POAS pumkin!

No symptoms here. 5/6dpo and all normal. Just counting down to the weekend so I can get testing. Or more likely, so AF can show and ruin my plans!

Abrahamkin · 26/09/2016 18:12

Maybe there is a bad batch of tests out there? Grin. I am on day 30 and tested again...bfn. Oh well. I have had cycles of 32/33 days since the pregnancy, so not unheard of. I guess I just need to be patient (like all of you this month it seems!)

lullaby23 · 27/09/2016 04:36

Fingers crossed for late inplantation ladies! Get yourselves a FRER Smile

Pumkinpie1 · 27/09/2016 07:23

It's positive !!!!

Still in a bit of shock !

Obv my ics were a bad batch
Got my fingers crossed for you boat, Abraham & napping !

lullaby23 · 27/09/2016 07:40

Yay pumpkin so pleased for you, congratulations! Those crappy ICs go in the bin haha Flowers

NappingRabbit · 27/09/2016 08:00

Ahh congratulations pumkin! Wonderful news!

Pumkinpie1 · 27/09/2016 08:29

Thank you !!
Lullaby can u send a link to the thread your trying to revive I can't seem to find it

oatybiscuits · 27/09/2016 10:44

Congratulations pumpkin!! That's amazing!!!
I'm feeling so weird, no AF 5 weeks after coming off the pill which I guess is probably normal, but I feel so achy and hormonal, breastfeeding is still very very painful. Got a bfn on Saturday and I'm trying not to test too much as it's so unlikely I'm pregnant yet! But maybe I got the same batch of tests as you pumpkin....

McKTastic · 27/09/2016 10:57

Have just seen this thread in my timeline (congratulations Pumpkin!) I think I've posted on similar before then disappeared apologies if I have.

Am feeling like a lost cause now - am 42, 2 beautiful kids aged 5 & 3; after my first my cycle started up again whilst still bfeeding & she self weaned when I was pregnant with no2.

No2 still feeds as & when, had a few sporadic cycles around same stage post partum as I was with my first but nothing since. Have had a few random unexplained health issues & GP wondered if I am perimenopausal but can't get accurate readings bce I'm still feeding. I am not having periods - a blessing & yet a curse when we desp want another child.

I know I'm approaching an age when I'll have to accept this & move on but for now am really torn about forcing my toddler to wean on the off chance my cycle will kick start - if he's my last baby I want him to have the same opportunity as my first & self wean when ready.

Anyone got any thoughts? Advice? In a similar position? X

Pumkinpie1 · 27/09/2016 11:57

Thanks lullaby , yes due 1st June got my fingers crossed n focusing on the 12 week mark!
When is ur due date. ?
Thanks oaty , I hope you did get a faulty batch too, you could always but a supermarket own brand one to try ?
I don't have any experience in this field sorry mck ,hope it all works out tho

Abrahamkin · 27/09/2016 12:31

Wow! Congrats pumpkin. There's still hope it seems. Though I am just waiting for AF and planning next cycle, as don't think it will be this month for me. If it would be this month it would be getting pregnant first try twice, which I think is very unlikely.
