Scan all good, he said hard to see my uterus as high and tilted, could see one sac in uterus all as it should be, couldn't rule out a second but thinks just one

sunnyday01 · 20/02/2017 16:37

Tallulah is 4 months now - I can't believe how quickly time is going! She is absolutely amazing! I still can't believe i made it through all that heartache and stress! Feels like a lifetime ago!!

Great news loopy! Long may it continue. If I remember correctly you said you're having another scan at six and a half weeks?

Haha I don't know about little drttc, I feel huge alreadyConfused

seeking four months already?! It's crazy how quickly time passes.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 23/02/2017 10:15

Yes snoopy, my next scan is a week today, and this week is really dragging! Am only 5+4 today but it's a milestone already as only 1 of my 12 MC's reached this point. Just hoping and keeping everything crossed that there are no chromosome abnormalities and that a week today it's grown to the right size and has a strong heartbeat.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 23/02/2017 14:53

You've been through so much loopy, you've already shown how strong and resilient you are, and that's great news that you're already passing milestones. Everyday is a little victory and I've got everything crossed for you.

sunnyday01 · 27/02/2017 10:49

Hope everyone is doing ok! I've reached a bit of a mini milestone today 8 weeks and no bleeding! This is the furthest i've ever got (apart from pregnancy with DC1). No scan until next weds (8th March) so don't actually know what is going on in there until then!

Bala03 · 27/02/2017 17:21

Sorry ladies for my late reply, i was bit away.

is anyone gone through similar one. Please let meknow, i feel little low.

Bala03 · 27/02/2017 17:38

HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS to sunny and loppy. Hope to hear more good news.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 27/02/2017 19:34

Sunny day sounds like you are using the same attitude as me. Fingers crossed that your scan goes well when you get to it. Until I have the scan on Thursday I'm not getting my hopes up, but I'm 6+1 and I'm not bleeding which beats 11/12 of my MC's. My latest gestation mc (which was my second ever Mc) they think died 6+2 and was confirmed on a scan 6+4 so am hoping I'm not tempting fate by this scan also being due for 6+4..

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 27/02/2017 19:40

Bala bit confused. My TSH was 3.76 and Epsom told me it shouldn't be higher than 2.0. I am on 50mg Levothyroxine and after 6 weeks it had dropped to 0.91 and I'm to stay on it.

I can't help re the fertility monitor as I don't use one. This was my first cycle ttc after high NK cell diagnosis and fell pregnant first time so steroids definitely haven't affected me. I always fall pregnant, every time, only exception was 2 cycles Jan/Feb 2016 where I tried clomid and progesterone from 7dpo. Clomid dried up my mucus and Prof Brosens thought the prog was having a contraceptive effect. I ditched the clomid and stopped using Prof until got a BFP and got pregnant next cycle again.

Drttc · 28/02/2017 16:13

Oh my goodness congrats Sunny! So happy it's continuing to go perfectly. Looking forward to hearing you talk about a big healthy bump!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 28/02/2017 16:40

Woohoo well done sunny and loopySmile

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 02/03/2017 13:56

Scan was all good, sac right size and normal shape, fetal pole and heartbeat seen, right size for dates 😊 Back for another scan in 2 weeks. I'm more pregnant now than with any of my 12 losses. Pred is a miracle worker!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 02/03/2017 14:48

Great news loopy, so pleased for you! I hope you can relax for a few days at least Smile

tiggykate · 03/03/2017 21:31

Hi, Just wanted to update. I had my appointment with Dr S and, as suspected, I've been diagnosed with high NK cells. I've got my pred and I'll be starting it tomorrow as I O'd a couple of days ago. Fingers crossed I'll have a sticky BFP soon!

vintagegirl77 · 04/03/2017 13:47

Hi all on this thread. I need some advice before I contact Dr S's office about this. Had two late mcs in past 2 years and started the plan of thyroxine 75mg and hydroxy 400mg back in September. Started trying a few months ago but don't think I'm ovulating. Have been using clear blue digital but haven't had a single smiley face.

Never had any problem getting pregnant, have always had smiley faces between day 12 and 18 and have always got bfp first time. But now nothing.

I was 37 and 39 when I had the mcs and I'm now 40 so wondering if it's age. I'm feeling deflated. Dr S seemed so positive about my plan but now I'm not so sure.

vintagegirl77 · 04/03/2017 14:10

Forgot to say my cycle is 30 days and still getting periods.

YompingJo · 06/03/2017 15:10

Hi all, just checking in. 29 weeks today (vintagegirl77 I conceived this one at 41, having been told my reserve hormone levels were so bad as to be virtually hopeless, so don't give up).

We have had a challenging few weeks. DD, who has had a series of chest infections this winter, was referred to paediatric assessment unit at hospital after the latest infection had gone on for 2 weeks, resisting steroids and 2 courses of antibiotics, and resulting in the poor wee soul crying in pain every time she coughed. We went up for an x-ray, expecting to be given more powerful drugs. She was discharged 8 days later, following the discovery of a totally collapsed lung, surgery to insert a chest drain which stayed in for 2 days, lots of x-rays and a ct scan. They have sent us home for 2 weeks with strong antibiotics to see if the massive cysts they discovered in her lung are due to an infection (unlikely), congenital (most likely and will require lung surgery to remove the cysts) or something worse.

8 days in hospital with a scared, exhausted 4-year-old who had regressed a good 2 years and was so overwhelmed she mainly communicated by screaming, fighting everyone and ripping off her sensors and oxygen nose prong things, was not very much fun. Hoping against hope she doesn't need further surgery because I'm not sure I could go through that again.

Glad to hear fantastic scan results for Loopy and sunny

sunnyday01 · 09/03/2017 08:56

scan was all ok yesterday and was measuring bang on my dates too (9+2). Down to a 1% chance of mc now so hopefully all will be well.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 09/03/2017 16:35

sunny great news! Are you having the harmony test?

yomping your poor little girl. That must have been terrifying for you. Really hoping it was just a particularly nasty infection.

For those asking about the clear blue ovulation kits, I've never used them so can't give much help.

sunnyday01 · 10/03/2017 10:25

Not sure we didn't have it last time so I guess we won't this time either.

sunnyday01 · 10/03/2017 10:26

It feels like it's going a lot quicker this time too!

Drttc · 11/03/2017 21:03

Glad your scan went well Sunny! Yay- bring on the second trimester!

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 20/03/2017 06:39

I had another scan on Thursday when I was 8+4 and all was looking good, and was measuring ahead at 9 weeks so my gut is it's another boy that's going to be tall like it's dad and brothers are for their ages...

Am having another scan this Thursday with the Panorama test, the scans are making me very nervous each week but they are helping by having only short periods to cope before finding out things are still ok, the alternative of not knowing would be hellish! I've then got a long 2 week wait until my NHS dating scan at 11+4 but I'll have had the Panorama results back by then anyhow. I wish I'd known about my killer cells sooner, keep thinking about what could have been. I should have a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old and have put ttc behind me if the last 4 years had gone to plan. As it is, I'm hoping this one clings on and having to accept there won't be a 4th baby. Not sure how to do that though.
