Coggy's Catch Up........

It seems FOREVER ago that I was properly on MN and obssessively ttc!
Only 2 1/2 months ago but alot has happened in that time I expect (no.....sadly no bfp from me yet!!!)
I guess that Debbsy has had her Bibsy and maybe Peachy too......BooBoo next month.....lots of other BFPs??????
Natty, MrsMc and Trace have kept me with some of the news on here.

Here's a quick catch-up with me and what is happening.....
I am CD25 of a usual 26/27 day cycle with all the classic AF signs.....cramps, tiredness, wind etc. etc. (It's nice to be back!! )
I am starting IUI this next cycle so I am only a couple of days away from that and VERY excited and VERY nervous about jabbing myself too!
I figured as well as catching up with my old ttc buddies I could also moan and groan merrily away about it all on this thread and (hopefully) get a little bit of (much needed) sympathy at the same time!!!

I am SUCH a wimp really!!!!
Roll on CD1......

Hiya coggy.....
glad to hear from you. You sound like you are doing amazingly well, and feeling strong. I am so disappointed for you , but onwards and upwards, think of first go as a practice and just gearing you up for the real thing.
My consultation went ok, i posted
here about it all. Dont wanna crash your thread sweetie.
Keep us posted with everything. What happens next?? Is it round 2 this month or do you have to wait a while? exscuse my ignorance.
xxxxx

pussycatmomma · 17/03/2007 19:03

my link actually worked!

bubbly1973 · 17/03/2007 20:56

im such a divvy, sorry coggy, i meant to say that i was given menopur on the first two cycles, and 3rd cycle was given puregon instead

was given the suprecur on all treatments...sorry for any confustion

dont worry about the month break, thats very much the norm in many clinics, infact my clinic wont do another iui straight away, they say we have to have a months break.

so dont worry

coggy · 23/03/2007 08:32

Thanks Bubbly.
Quite enjoying the month's break..........calm before the storm and all that!

Hopefully we'll do the next two cycles back-to-back if we can.

I've gone a bit quiet cos nothing much is happening.
Keep checking on everyone else.......any news from Boo Boo yet???????

CD11 today and going to buy some digi ov tests just out of interest to see if the drugs have had any 'roll-over' effect on my LP.
Set my CB fertilty monitor to the wrong time so can't use that this month!!!!
Should have read the instructions again after not using it for so long!!!

Hope all is well for all out there.
X

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 12/04/2007 13:24

Coggy, still thinking about you, and keeping my fingers crossed for you. And PCM, wishing you all the best.

And MrsMcJnr, how are you doing??

pussycatmomma · 12/04/2007 19:46

(((slight hijack))) hellllloooo sol!!!!!! How are you?? Hows everything??
Am on clomid now, just had my first months worth and waiting for af to start the second (bfn yesterday)
Hiya Coggy, anything to report??

coggy · 12/04/2007 22:23

...an early bfn though PCM eh?

Nothing to report...jabs are getting a bit 'old-hat'....not even bothering to look at the doses to check now...just sticking 'em in!

Got a scan to progress-check on Monday and then see what's what I guess.
Think I may take more drug is I progress slowly like last time.
the consultant recommended 65units but the nurse told me 50 as it was easier to measure????
Maybe the 65 would get me ready a few days earlier like I should be???

I will ask the other nurse on Monday and then wap-it-up if necessary next month.
Hopefully be able to do two months back-to-back this time.

The saga continues..................

Hello SOL - how are you doing? I'm ok, cd4 of my 2nd cycle after the MC, first one lasted 40 days, I thought it would never end. Hoping that we'll have success again sometime soon

coggy · 13/04/2007 11:17

We're pratically identical cycle buddies again then MrsMc.....I'm CD6 today.
Fingers and toes crossed for you and MrMc again this month.

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 13/04/2007 16:48

Hiya ladies.

MrsMcJnr, I am so sorry. I didn't realise that you had had a m/c. Hope you are ok.

All ok here - 38 weeks tomorrow and ready to explode. I'll keep you posted.
Any word from Trace?

Big hugs to you lovely ladies. xx

Juicylucytoo · 15/04/2007 11:00

Hi Girls,

How are you all doing on this lovely sunny sunday?

MrsMJ, Coggy and PCM - hope this month is the "one". Fingers crossed. It would be so cool if you could all be on and AN thread together.

SOL - 38 weeks - wow. You must be fit to bursting. I'm 34 weeks, so not far behind you. Off to dunk myself in the lido.

ShowOfHands · 15/04/2007 11:11
Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 15/04/2007 11:25

Hiya lovelies. Wow Juicy, 34 weeks already. Hope you are ok.

Yep, fit to bursting and want the lo OUT NOW!

Hey SOH, what is your status now!?

ShowOfHands · 15/04/2007 11:39

My status is eyesore or 'only allowed out at night so as not to scare the locals'. Just come back from a week in London and I think they thought I was a some kind of street performer.

I'm about 36 weeks, my feet are mince and I've the road map of croatia etched splendiferously across my person, if it gets any hotter I will turn into a puddle and I've traded my right hand in for a useless fluid-filled claw.

I jest of course. Still enjoying being pregnant despite all the huffing and puffing/no underwear fitting/insomnia etc and am horrified that other Due In Mays are popping already. Had a scare last week at the Tower of London, few irregular contractions and a show. Baby's very engaged and slowly and surely on her way but I have to keep my legs crossed for a week to get a homebirth. Will still be here at 42 weeks I reckon, waddling and sobbing...

Can't believe it's 38 weeks for you. That's so exciting. Is DD looking forward to it? My Godson asked last night if the baby would like to play with his lego when it comes out and could it come out before the end of the Easter holidays because he's got to go back to nursery. I wish it was all that simple!

coggy · 15/04/2007 17:58

PMSL at you lot....as usual!!

I just hope that when we get our BFPs it'll go as qucikly as yours all seem to have done!
I can't believe you are all so close to being cooked!
trace must be close by as well.
Not heard from her for a while.....anyone know how she's doing?

When each of you does pop....please let us know on this thread as I'd hate to miss it.
I search for ages for Debbsy and almost (somehow?!) missed Booboo too.

Scan tomorrow to check for quantity and size of follicles......fingers MEGA crossed that we can have the IUI done on Friday as DH and I are both off work.
Got a feeling tho that it'll be next Monday....that'll be a bummer as we will both be AT work and need to take the day off....slightly embarassing to do...not wanting to tell people why....especially poor DH of course!!!!
...for him!!

GREAT to know everyone's good.

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 15/04/2007 18:54

SOH, pmsl at you!!! Cannot believe you are only a couple of weeks behind me.

Coggy, keeping everything crossed for you - well tbh I am not keeping my legs crossed as I need this baby out now!

coggy · 16/04/2007 17:30

Thank you ladies.....I had my scan today and have FOUR fairly large follicles....blimey....could be scary if I get a BFP this month eh??!!!

Back on Weds to see how they are growing and then, hopefully, IUI on Friday...HURRAH!

No leg crossing adviced for you SOL!!

OP posts:
coggy · 16/04/2007 17:31
